interesting cultural romance
I enjoyed reading this romance between 2 Amish people. The customs of this culture have always fascinated me. They have very strong ties to family and community, so following a different path from what is expected is difficult for them. But, at the same time, being true to self should always prevail.

I really enjoyed this short and sweet Amish romance. There's enough detail on the setting, dilemma, and characters' personalities that nothing felt lacking.

the Lancaster heart series are short sweet continual stories and of Sarah and Daniel and their blooming love in their Amish town. as Sarah moves through her days in a simple but predictable rhythm, a newcomer changes her heart and she must decide to follow what is practical and accepted...or to follow her heart even when it is hard.
