They're finally together only to be ripped apart again?? 😭 Only for Ruan Yanjun to disappear into a hole in the ground for 10 fucking years???
At least they managed to let the "big swan" glide into the "tight pond".
Not Ruan Yanjun carrying the "heavenly glide elixir" with him all this time only for it to spoil. And not him developing a new version with numbing and healing properties. Good job!
Very good prep work and aftercare! Especially the first time. Unlike some other danmei....looking at you "Grandmaster" (this bonus chapter is still haunting me)

I've been staring off into the distance with a goofy smile and sighing a bunch after finishing this, mostly because damn, the romance gets intense guys. I'll just leave you with this video as a modern interpretation of my take on this installment.
Oh, and I rated it 5 stars based on my enjoyment of it. As far as technical aspects go, I'd say it still rates a 4. However, I think there has been an increase in the quality of writing since Book 1, and given time and resources, I'd be really interested to see how this author grows.

Im sooo impressed with this author so far it’s been sooo good! I’m hook to this story and I’m sad that now I finished it I have to wait for the next volume.. Hope the next volume will be released soon.. Author Yan Yan you have earn a new fan here!! pleaseeee..your fan here is waiting for the next one! Hehe

A must read
Wow this book was so good I couldn’t put it down , book 4 had everything from action , love , and pain . The story is of Luo Fan and Ruan Yanjun and there story . I love how this book has the story told from both of them and you really get to see inside of them. The action scenes were epic and honestly these books have by far been my favourites of 2025 .
