I really wanted to like this book. But there are some issues that make reading this volume a slog.
1.) There are a moderate amount of typos and weirdly hyphenated words. Fortunately, it's cheap, so I won't be demanding my money back.
2.) The English translation bounces from simple basic English to mystical Orthodox greek and a break neck pace. Making reading this a chore. It was designed to be more accessible. So much for that.
3.) No glossary/index. Koine Greek, like many other languages, change over time. Words like "monad" (alone/singular) take on different meanings. (Unaware/unconscious emanating deity)

All of these issues taken together made me wonder if this wasn't translated by a person. The prevalence of A.I. is exceedingly obnoxious. I seriously hope this isn't an A.I. product. Psuedo-Dionysius the Areopagite is a intellectual pillar of the Catholic Church and should have been treated better. I'll keep this as a reference book.

Not recommended. Read for free at https://ccel.org/ccel/rolt/dionysius/... (better translation)
