The begining felt almost...sad.
I felt it with the story.
I don't really participate in most of the themes this book dances around in, but - as a big person in writing - the plot was incredibly interesting, especially. There were some moments in particular that felt a little...rushed? But overall, quite a good read !!

this was such a balance of romance and dark romance. I have never Come across a novel with this type of setting. Gold mining in the Yukon.
It hits all the best tropes. friends to lovers, who hurt you, forced proximity. excellent short story!

This story about gold mining in the Yukon took me on a rollercoaster of emotions! Jasmine's desperation to escape a horrible situation led her to ask her friend James to take her with him on his adventure to the Yukon. This dark romance made me feel all sorts of things- shock, suspense, and a dark allure that pulled me deeper in this story. This book is spicy!!! If you're into dark romance with twists and turns, this one's got it.

Golden Redemption is a heartfelt and beautifully written novella about healing, friendship, and finding light after trauma. Jasmine’s journey to the Yukon is both raw and uplifting, and the romance woven through her struggle feels tender and genuine. Though short in length, the story delivers powerful emotion and a deep sense of place. Perfect for readers who enjoy intimate, character-driven romances with themes of resilience and second chances.

Golden Redemption hit me in the feels. Jasmine’s journey to the Yukon to escape trauma and chase a new start felt raw and honest. The romance was tender without overshadowing her story of healing. Short and sweet (about 90 pages) but packed with heart perfect for when you want an emotionally satisfying read without a huge time commit. Highly recommend.

Golden Redemption had potential with themes of healing and friends-to-lovers base, but it felt rushed. The characters never had enough space to fully develop, so the romance came off more forced than earned. It’s an okay quick read, but not particularly memorable.

I wasn't sure of this book because I stay away with certain trauma that being said this book healed something inside me that I thought I was already healed from. So I recommend this novella I really enjoyed it

The Yukon setting feels alive cold, haunting, and full of secrets. The atmosphere alone had me hooked.

The emotional stakes are just as gripping as the suspense. It’s not just about gold it’s about survival, redemption, and truth.

I really wish Goodreads did half stars because I would give this a 3.5 stars. I enjoyed the storyline, and I loved the ending. I love the reclaiming of herself. The beginning of the story didn't really flow for me, but once I was into it, I was into it.
