I think Rami is not in fact, an angel but rather a big fluffy 6 foot 8 teddy bear. This whole book is an entire vibe. Absolutely nothing happens aside from a sweet cuddly angel meeting his fated mate and doing everything in his power to make him feel happy, content and loved. There is a side plot but we all know none of these men are ever truly in danger, so it felt like a mere blip amongst the lovefest.
After a few weird moments where he feels his mate nearby but can't locate him, Rami's finally able to pinpoint exactly where he is. But when he finds him, Ethan has been gravely injured. Rami saves the day, but he isn't able to save his heart from what Ethan says next- Ethan has a boyfriend. Never mind that his boyfriend is a bit of a dink 🤨. As an honourable angel, Rami isn't going to force his mate to choose. He decides to leave Ethan alone and nurse his broken heart alone. Which lasts about 5 minutes 😂
The rest of this lovely daydream of a book is two sweet men getting to know each other while tiptoeing around the giant elephant sized secrets between them. Ethan is a sweetie who looks after everyone but himself, and seeing him absorb the love Rami radiated in his direction was beyond adorable.
I wish there was a bit more going on, because this felt like fantasy wish fulfillment more than anything else. If there's ever a book to binge after a breakup or a time when you feel unloved or unwanted, this is the one. I'm not sure if I'm too cynical to buy in completely but it veered into OTT for me at times. With that said, it was too lovely to truly criticize. Get a tub of ice cream, sit back and enjoy. The book felt like stepping into a warm bath, mixed with a hug from the person you love the most. With the state of the world as it is, I really should appreciate the feel-good joybait vibes to the utmost.

Not a big supernatural reader. Picked this up due to my love for this author. Stayed for the chaos. I don’t regret anything.
Ethan's glaring diagnosis gave me anxiety right at the beginning. If I didn't know this had to have a happy ending, I would have been worried.
I immediately wanted to stab Dave! He just kept getting worse with every page, and my poor Ethan kept trying to justify why his behavior was okay. I was screaming for Rami to hurry up and wreck this home FASTER and get my boy out of there, before I burn this whole house down myself!!!
I loved all of the mystery within the plot alongside the romance. It kept things interesting through the entire book. I was dying to figure out what was going on around every corner, and it was never in a way that made me feel lost in the mystery. There were also a couple of emotional punches I wasn't expecting since this isn't a super heavy read.
This was such a fun, smooth read. I really appreciated the character list. It allowed me to seamlessly integrate into this book even though it's the 4th in a series. It does work as a standalone, I had no issues. The fantasy realm wasn't too world buildy where I needed time to grasp it. I would still recommend starting at the beginning of the series though if you're thinking of picking this up, because I just know this whole series has to be good! I plan on going back and reading them.

This one really frustrated me!
Again, it followed the formula for fated mates that just seems so boring because it's exactly the same in every book. Nothing new or interesting happened!! It was: Meet Mate + Don't Bond For Some Inane Reason + Mate Gets Kidnapped Then Almost Murdered + Mate Bond At Last Possible Moment..... I am SO beyond bored of this that it's pretty much ruined the whole fated mates trope for me. Just for once I would love to see the mating bond take place in the first 25% of the book, and then have the conflict be literally ANYTHING else!!!!
Dami was pretty boring also. All he did was mope around, or find ways to have Ethan near him. He did nothing else... Ethan was slightly better, but again, all he did was mope about or stress about the fact he was moving on from a dead end relationship so quickly. I got exasperated with him constantly defending Dave and his shitty behaviour!
Also nothing much happened throughout the entire book. I kept waiting for something but it was just so flat the whole way through. The best parts were Quinn in general, and then Riley telling Danny to sit down, shut up!
The build up for Theo and his mate was slightly interesting, but again, Nate only had one personality trait in this book and it got old really quickly. It's also really annoying how all of these guys have been waiting centuries for mates, yet as soon as they find them they literally do everything to avoid the situation! It's like those people who think they want kids, then when they have them they realise it's not all insta photos and rainbows, it's actually hard work and they don't want it!
I'm kinda torn because I really want to see Quinn find his mate, and Benji, and I know that Calan links to this series too, but I really don't know if I can read any more fated mates books where this exact same plot happens and I can set my watch by the events. It just feels like groundhog day and a waste of my time reading because I can predict exactly what's going to happen and when...

I loved seeing all of the angels in this series meet their mates, and Rami & Ethan’s story is no exception!
Ethan just made me so sad, I wanted to cry for him-his loneliness was so crushing, I don’t know how he went through everything he did basically by himself. And Rami, this giant sweetie. Their meeting in the beginning was heartbreaking & I just felt for him so much, knowing he couldn’t have Ethan at the time.
I loved Rami’s flirty self and how protective he was of Ethan. He deserved someone like Rami who will always be there to take care of him & just be there for him, which he never had before 🙄
The twist at the end got me, I was not expecting it!! I’m also dying to know more about Quill now, and to just see everyone be happy with their mates 😭 I loved being introduced to all these new characters!
I freakin loved seeing Ferry & Harlow & everyone else too. The way everyone is always there for each other no matter what-I seriously adore this entire world & everyone in it so much 😭

People might believe angels and demons were leagues apart, but they forgot that we were once all the same. Truly, I think the main difference was in the colour of our wings. All the other factors—the selfish, obsessive, possessive natures—we shared those. Angels just had better PR.
Hope. That was the feeling filling my heart. God, I’d never been so afraid of an emotion before. But no other had had the opportunity to ruin me as thoroughly as this one.
For someone else, this bond might’ve represented a cage. But to me? It meant freedom. Freedom to live life how I chose, knowing I’d never be alone. To allow myself to love without fear. To be loved.

Rami has deserved his fated mate for ages and he finally gets him in Ethan, who was friends with Matty, Riley, and Lucky years ago. I remember Ethan, and he and Riley were definitely close and then he just kind of faded into the background and then was not there any more. For all that these guys were upset by Ethan losing touch with them, we didn't hear them talk about Ethan at all in their books (well I don't know about Lucky's since I did read it, but the other two for sure), from what I recall. No sadness about him pulling away from them, nothing.
But Ethan's back in this and it starts devastatingly for him. He has terminal cancer, with only months left to live, and he's going through it alone. He's been scared to get in touch with Matty, Riley and Lucky again because of how he lost touch with them, but also because he's dying and doesn't want to put them through that, having to see him die (even though they'd be there in an instant if he called.)
He has his long term boyfriend, Dave, but the man sucks ass and who knows why the fuck he even stayed with Ethan. Maybe he felt guilty if he left, but in every way but physically he was already checked out. He's a terrible boyfriend and Ethan makes excuse after excuse for him and it's sad to see this man who is literally dying be like "oh he left his job for me, he deserves to go out with his friends, he can't stop his life for me" like oh mannnn. That's supposed to be your partner in life and he's treating you like a chore? Fuck him! And also, of course, him . Dave got off easy in the end.
Anyway, after one of his chemo sessions, Ethan gets struck by a bus - but Rami feels him and gets there in time to heal him - not even realizing he's also healing Ethan entirely of his terminal cancer.
Rami is so excited to get his fated mate, finally, that he excitedly tells Ethan everything, right away - which was refreshing to see one of them so excited to just say it all immediately because they haven't always done that in the past - but then he learns that Ethan has a boyfriend and that they can't be together. He's devastated and knows he must compel Ethan to forget he was saved and that they ever met.
But he marks him as well, to keep him safe, especially from Gloria, who has been a pain in all the Seraphim's asses for several books now.
But it doesn't take long for their paths to cross again - of course Rami is keeping watch over Ethan to keep him safe from afar so he's never been truly gone from his life, but only weeks pass before Benji convinces Rami just because he can't be with Ethan, doesn't mean he can't be in his life as his friend.
And so Sam sets up a pretend modeling session in which they need a photographer - which is Ethan's passion - and Rami is the "model" for romance book covers.
Since Ethan learned he mysteriously became cancer free all the sudden, he's figuring out his life now that he has it back. Getting back into photography is one step in getting his life back on track.
Of course Remi and Ethan were wonderful together, so adorable and sweet, and the chemistry between them during their scenes flowed so naturally.
I just loved these two, and I couldn't get enough of them. Ethan is so sweet and adorable and king, and Rami is also kind and protective and so gentle with Ethan, so respectful too. He's flirty, of course, but doesn't actually try anything when Ethan lays the boundary of him having a boyfriend.
Although not to worry, Dave is out of the picture soon enough.
Things seem to happy so quickly from there once he is - truly, it's been less than a day since he and Ethan break up before he and Rami have sex.
I don't care, because fuck Dave and his and also Ethan and Dave were really over for a long time already. Ethan even has thoughts about hoe doesn't even really feel anything towards Dave after they're done. They just are.
Rami, we get to see, treats Ethan so much better than Dave ever did.
While they have to worry about Gloria - who thankfully isn't an issue in this one, and I'm thankful she wasn't because that'd just retread old ground, plot wise, that we've already dealt with. I know she'll have to be ultimately dealt with, but her meddling with Rami and his mate would just be the same think Ez and Sam already dealt with, so while she was a lingering threat, she wasn't the big issue in this.
And honestly I loved how we had a break from any big dramatic break up or separation in this. The main thing that happens is there's this evil vampire who is after Ethan, to torture and kill him, ultimately - but taking his time and making his victims his "mate" is his ultimate pleasure, and he's been targeting Ethan long before he and Rami met, even. Although Rami and Ethan being fated mates moves up the evil vampire's timeline a bit.
Ultimately Damien, the vampire, is stupid. But it kind of makes sense because he's evil and truly evil people don't get other's being there for the one's they love, or the emotion of love in general. Because I think Damien was expecting just Rami to go after Ethan and no one else. But the whole of Seraphim, the demon mates, their demon friends (Quill, Darius, Dhalia) and his sons are all there to take him down. (Which, of course all 4 sons will be future MC's, and it'll be fun when we get to those!)
As strong as Damien is, he can't take on that many supes, especially all the archangels and demons, and live. Why he's so smug until the end, I don't know. Massively arrogant, I guess, as most evil people are.
Anyway, that was a fun plot point, but mostly I loved this for Ethan and Rami. Rami getting his HEA and getting Ethan in the forefront after he disappeared from the friend group earlier was amazing to see.
Now I'm super excited for Theo's book. I was worried the author would make the twins poly with someone, but thankfully she's not. Although several times this says the twins thought they'd "share" a mate - but it wouldn't be incest? Lol how would that have worked? So strange and no one calls out that strangeness but whatever lol. Anyway, Theo has been holding off finding his mate even though he's felt him for awhile, and he finally meets him at the end of this and I can't wait to find out who it is and read their book.
I'm also excited for Nate and Benji's books eventually as well. Can't wait!

Enchanted is a wonderfully emotional romance between archangel Rami and his human mate Ethan. Their love story is painful at times, with Rami's yearning and Ethan's loneliness. They both look for someone they can depend on, and for a variety of reasons, their timing is just a smidge off, which quickly leads Rami to develop an endearing friendship with Ethan. Their dynamic is wholesome, patient, and sweet, which allows for a beautiful romance to slowly develop between the two.
I always enjoy returning to this world and the vast crop of characters. It is always a pleasure to see some of my favorites pop up, and seeing how Ethan already has a cemented connection with the human mates was so bittersweet at times. Overall, I could not get enough of this story and look forward to the next one.

Enchanted is book four in the Hopeless Blessed series. This MM PNR romance story is about Rami and Ethan.
Rami is an archangel in the Seraphim. He was one of the rare archangels born with additional powers. He had the power to heal. Every man Rami had been interested in had already been in a relationship, and unfortunately this was the case when he finally met his mate Ethan. Ethan is a human with a crappy boyfriend. He was lonely and it hurt my heart to see what he was going through.
Rami was very respectful of Ethan. And although he tried to keep away, in the end Rami decided he would attempt a friendship with Ethan. Rami was patient and so supportive of Ethan. It was great to see them get to know each other and see how compatible they were. This was definitely a very sweet romance.
I do have to say I was not expecting Ethan to be in the type of danger he was in, but thank goodness he had Rami, as well as the angels and demons to have his back. I couldn’t wait to see how it was all going to play out.
I definitely enjoyed seeing a few of my favorite characters pop up, and I just loved how accepting they all were of Ethan. And that epilogue had me choked up and made my heart happy. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series.

I'd gasped when Lark revealed that Rami's mate is Ethan! My hype was high & I chose to start the #ARC on my birthday ❤️, completed it the next day 😁. I love this world!! Rami & Ethan are lovely. We get many cameos too, so cool 😍.

E cares deeply, worries & overthinks. E can be clumsy, life made him grumpy, but as R breaks E's walls, he's fun & flirts back good 😁.
Saving his mate should've been their happy start... R did it all well... Yet Ethan ended up being as unavailable as the men R unknowingly flirted in the past. It starts bleak, scary, hopeful to hurt. But I'm so glad for the Seraphim's camaraderie 😭. Their plan is fun af. Model potential fr. Loved seeing R+E's friendship start, the flirting to more. They don't even cheat. Ugh, the (soon, ex-) bf had given sus vibes! Asshole. I adored how R went on E's pace 🥹. R+E are sexy af with dirty talk & fantasies 🔥. I still yelled to get official already 😂.
The cameos & Ethan getting friends were SWEET. The villain in this book is new, but named quickly, surprisingly. Woop, new spin off series potential! Still, I liked how Gloria was still felt as a threat, with all the precautions. I wonder if she'll be back. Omg the climax got dramatic, but it all twisted together well. Is no human mate gonna find about pnr peacefully, lol? It's satisfying tho 😂. Ending got me curious, YAY it's Theo next!
Lark wrote in note that she couldn't align this series timeline with the Wild edges. I didn't check, but this felt good enough. Especially as the epilogue gave what I wanted all throughout 🥹. I sorta wonder if Ethan wasn't gonna have a book in this series initially & that's why it's like that 🤔. Loved that he was choosen tho! I did notice that this my 1st Lark-only arc with more than 4 typos, tho I get that it maybe was rushed after intial delaying. Hoping they got corrected!

You’d think that it would get boring, and usually it would bother me a rinse and repeat series, but for some reason with this author it never does.
Despite the basics being the same, each version is unique; apparently, there are infinite ways someone can be captured and threatened.
I also love the fact that it is all one universe where everyone is linked in some way, and the world has been so well designed and developed that nothing seems out of place or wrong.
The author was worried about timelines in this one, but I saw no issues; it was great.
I love the little dedication to Lily Mayne at the beginning, and I’d have to say I agree. Fuck Cancer!

I love this series!
Ramiel's turn to find his eternal happiness with his mate gets off to an intriguing start and it just gets better as it goes along.
Ethan's a sweetheart who deserves better than the hand fate's dealt him and when his path crosses with a tall, dark and handsome man, he's drawn to him without knowing there's a connection.
The usual shenanigans occur, this time the threat is from a deranged vampire who's fixated on Ethan and who's willing to go to extremes.
Of course, all is right in the end and there's a boatload of sexy times along the way.
I'm fascinated by Quill and can't wait for his story, but next up for the demons is Daruis.

I'm used to a bit of tension between MCs in Lark's books. Maybe even a little misplaced dislike. That doesn't happen in Enchanted, which is an apt name for this book because Rami and Ethan both seem immediately enchanted when they meet one another. So what was the problem? Well, Ethan is currently in a long term comitted relationship. I am talking almost a decade long. Though even Ethan can admit his boyfriend Dave hasn't been the most amazing man lately (or ever in my opinion), he's also a good enough human to never want to be a cheater. I also think he was a bit stuck worrying about the sunk-cost fallacy. That's where you've put so much time and energy into a relationship that you hang onto said relationship way too long in order to make all that effort to have been worth it.
Ethan's boyfriend isn't the only hurdle our MCs have to deal with before they can get to their HEA. It seems someone else has also taken a liking to sweet Ethan and that someone else is turning out to be one elusive person. It had poor Rami tied up in knots worrying about his mate. A mate that he cannot even claim because he has no idea who Rami is to him.
I thought it was super cute how Rami was able to insert himself into Ethan's life, even if it was only a friendship. He wanted his mate happy and if that meant being friends, Rami was going to be the bestest friend ever. Of course these two clicked immediately. It was lovely seeing Ethan so happy and laughing because he didn't do much of that at the start of his story. It also didn't take long for Ethan to see how good Rami was for him. Society might look down on Ethan for how fast he moved on from Dave, but in the eyes of the supernatural world Ethan was just doing exactly what fate meant for him. And Rami wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

I really enjoyed this book! Lark does paranormal romance so well. This series feels so unique. I especially enjoy Larks twist on angels and demons and all of the politics, power dynamics, and their world.
The characters and their relationships kept me hooked. Rami and Ethan were so cute, and I loved their chemistry. They really made this story so much fun to read.
I’ve been really enjoying this series and the world Lark has created. The books can be read as standalone books, which I love. I’ve read books 1 and 4 so far, but I’ll definitely be going back to read the others! I’ll also be reading The Reckless Damned series next since it’s part of this same world.

I may have mentioned before that I’m obsessed with Lark’s shared world of Angels and Demons. They are all so complex and perfect, and their stories are fascinating.
Rami and Ethan are an emotional pairing. Rami and his pining for his fated mate that he can’t find, and Ethan spending hours going through the worst thing imaginable while his boyfriend gives the bare minimum.
Rami is a bit of a martyr, and it hurt to see him torture himself, feeling like he can’t tell Ethan the truth. And then there’s another sinister force causing chaos and mayhem.
I always love when the humans learn the truth of what’s out there…so much fun.

3.5 stars, rounded. Considering I didn’t finish the second book and haven’t really given the third book a chance, this was a wonderful experience. Rami and Ethan were SO adorable, and this book honestly made me more excited about future installments. I need Quill’s book…NOW!

If you’re in the mood for a fated mates paranormal romance book from the 90s but make it queer, this will delight you. If you’re sick of the same ol’ same ol’, I’d leave this book behind.
Overall it’s more of the same but also cozy. Not much happens tbh…but it’s sweet and cute.
I do not like TikTok speak making its way into books. I also thought a few scenes were cringey, such as the mom scene.

Rami was such a sweetheart, and I loved how gentle and careful he was with his mate! Rami and Ethan's story was full of sweet moments and hurt / comfort - but since it's Lark Taylor there were also heartbreaking scenes and quite a bit of mortal peril before these two got their well deserved HEA together.
Trust Lark Taylor to give me anxiety right away with Ethan's diagnosis and accident. It was heartbreaking to see his struggles and just how lonely Ethan was, and I was so fed up with how he kept 'defending' his partner for not being there for him. I just wanted to see Rami to find him, spoil him and make sure he was taken care of the way he deserved.
Considering everything that Ethan had been through it was understandable that he wanted to try to take things slow with Rami. I really enjoyed seeing them getting to know each other and the flirting was cute. There was some chemistry and tension between them, and it was obvious that they wouldn't be able to resist each other for long. Rami was just as caring as I had expected him to be, he was a real teddy bear of a character and I adored seeing these two together.
Enchanted was a sweet romance, with a pinch of suspense and angst, and it was easy to feel swoony around Rami and Ethan! The focus was mainly on their relationship development and romance, and I felt like the suspense and overarching plot had a bit of a smaller role than usual. It’s always great to be back with the seraphim and I look forward to seeing what chaos the twins will bring once they find their mates!

Enchanted is the 4th book in the Hopeless Blessed series. In my opinion this series is best read in order. This is the story of Rami an archangel and Ethan a human. This was a book I loved because of Rami and Ethan. They are both so lovable while wanting to be loved for who they were. There is so much emotion in this story that I wanted to reach out and hug Rami and Ethan and tell them they were worth so much more then they realized. I loved watching these two get to know each other and work through everything to eventually become a couple. I loved the world building that went into this series. I just loved everything about this book. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

I started this book crying and I ended this book crying and I cried a lot in between and oh look, this is now my favorite book in the series 😂
Ethan is going THROUGH it. He thinks he's at the end, his boyfriend sucks (even though he's too nice to admit it) and he's so so so incredibly lonely (do we see the Amanda catnip yet?). And Rami? We've seen Rami be flirting, but it's just because he's so desperate to meet the one who will stay for him. And then they meet and while it's under...less than great circumstances...for a little bit it's absolutely lovely. And then it swiftly hurts again.
Despite what I make it sound like, this is not a 100% angst fest. In fact, I think it's truly sweet and full of two absolute fluffy green flags who can also light the room on fire with their chemistry. Because of the aforementioned sucky boyfriend, we get to see a friends to lovers happen real time and it's so full of fun and flirting and realizing your own worth. These two are such obvious fated mates and I loved them together so so so much. Plus there was a lot of big bad and high tension and it left me so excited to see who is next up.
Also, I see some people have read this and enjoyed it as a standalone, but I highly disagree so I just want to put that out there because it might be different for everyone!

This was honestly a pretty ridiculous read. It felt super cringy in some chapters and I think I completely lost faith in it when Ethan met his mum again.
I’m very aware this series includes angels and demons but it’s never really centred around ‘faith’ before so it suspended belief for me and I pretty much lost interest after that. Ethan and Rami were cute though.

His yearning, urgh, yet how patient he is, determined to give Ethan all the time he needs, not rushing him despite wanting him so badly *sigh* He’s the perfect mate for our special Ethan, only wanting him to be happy above all else, yet he can’t help his cheeky flirtatiousness with the man he’s destined to be with. So enjoyed their flirty banter.
I loved how Rami can go from sweet to dirty talking in the blink of an eye; he’s a gentleman with a very dirty mouth and I was absolutely here for it! I loved how Rami makes Ethan feel, seeing him laugh, and how he looks after him. And how he takes Ethan away when he asked, no questions asked.
And that ending 🥹 I love the found family in Lark’s books. I especially loved Ethan and Quill’s friendship – how Ethan can reach Quill during his bad moments – and adored how wonderfully supportive Rami is when Quill needs Ethan as a friend.
I really need to see Quill get his HEA, and am beyond excited for Darius and Calan’s story. Plus the twins’ stories. Theo’s book is going to be interesting seeing how his relationship with Nate is affected even more.

I love the connection between the MCs; they feel like friends as much as being destined mates. And obviously, I’m still tickled by the side characters, as I always am with Lark. The sense of brotherhood between the other Seraphim, all of their partners, and Rami is especially entertaining; these guys bicker like blood relatives, but they’re always the first to step up to help (if only Rami will let them!).
What I really enjoyed about this couple in particular is that we already actually know Ethan from the Damned Connections series. The backstory for him, and the impact of his history on present relationships, made the story that much richer and more complex, and it made Ethan a more complicated character, too. He’s been through an incredible amount of adversity, and I love that he finally finds a home and a place to belong with Rami and the others.

Sweet and spicy, friends to lovers romance!

Micah and Nox are still my number ones in this series, but Rami and Ethan are a close second! These two are so freaking sweet together and I just loved watching them find their HEA!
"This right here was what I’d been searching for without realising it. With every man I’d ever approached, every rejection I’d weathered. All of it had been leading me here. To Ethan."
Ethan has been through so much in his short life. Being diagnosed with a terminal illness with no support system is truly the worst. He's really just going through the motions when he finds out that a miracle granted him a second chance at life. But it's not until he meets Rami that he grabs onto that chance and finally starts living again.
“I’ll spend forever making your fantasies come true.”
Ethan really just broke my heart. He's got a certain strength and bravery to him that's really admirable. He's constantly spreading joy and love to those around him, but he also feels like he's not worthy of being loved in return. When he meets Rami, he's so hesitant to let him in. But Rami is determined and he's so ready to shower Ethan with all the love and care he's missed out on. It's exactly the kind of support Ethan has needed for so long and I loved to see him get it.

I also loved that their love languages aligned so well. They're both caretaker who show their love in different ways. Ethan see people so clearly and is there when they need him and Rami shares his love through food. And touch was something they both shared. I adored all those small ways in which they constantly showed up for each other and those around them.

This book was a little lighter on the overarching plot, but it gave us more time to explore the characters and build their bonds. I loved the way Ethan connected with the angels but especially with Nox's crew. His friendship with Quill really warmed my heart and made me more excited to dive into their stories. And don't even get me started on the twins. They're going to break my hearts but I'm so ready for them to find their HEAs! But first, you need to check out the sweet and spicy, friends to lovers romance that made me cry but also made me so happy!

Also, I have to say that Lark Taylor is notorious for making me cry with her prologues and I was so surprised that this didn't have one. But she got me in the epilogue because that more than made up for it and had me sobbing the entire time!

Ah, how I missed crying at another of Lark's books. Istg every single one of them makes me cry.
The way I love this universe should be studied. This is the highlight of my year, discovering this universe.
Ethan and Rami joined the party and I couldn't be happier. I hope this universe will expand in a way that will always bring them back into my life. The cameos in these books are crazy and this is why I will always insist in reading them in order ( starting with Devil's Mark ). Whenever you'll see the others it will just be much more satisfying.
I won't say much about the plot, all these books have plot, and I love it every single time, but I think this is something everyone should discover for themselves.
What I will say is that fated mates and found family are my fav tropes in the entire universe and this book has both. What else can I ask for?
This book starts with a gut punch. It hits you in the feels right away and from that moment forward you just go on this journey that is basically a roller-coaster of emotions. You go from grief to helplessness, from helplessness to sadness, from sadness to happiness, joy, awe, ugh, you name it and you feel it. All of it. I love the Seraphims, they are a great group, and I love how often we always get to see the others. They pop up here and there and they just make everything better. In this book the amount of cameos is crazy high, and I couldn't be more grateful for it.
Rami, ah, my poor baby angel, he finally found his person, the other half of his soul, and I am so happy for him I could cry. And Ethan, oh, my poor heart, he needed Rami in a way that can't even be properly described. You have to read the book to understand what I'm talking about. The way fate matched these two was chef's kiss. Not only do they need what the other can offer, but it's essential. They really were created for one another. Rami's existence and past experiences proves just that. Well done, Fate, well played.
I am so ready for the other Seraphims to get their own books, and I am equally ready for those vamps to get theirs as well. Hello, boys, I am ready to meet you, but until then, we'll finally get to read about our stubborn Calan and D, our resident grump demon. Bring it on, it's been almost a year. I can't wait anymore. 💚

I just knew that I was going to love this book from how the prologue made me feel. That whole chapter had me so emotional. I loved how in sync Rami and Ethan were with one another from the moment these two met.
Honestly, when I started this book, I truly was not sure how the outcome of this book was, especially since Ethan had a boyfriend. The boyfriend, though. What a sad excuse of a man. I was really hoping more would have happened with him. One could only hope.
Ethan. I loved him so much. All he ever wanted was for him to care for him. The fact that the book started with him going to his appointments all alone made my heart break. And uh. That freaking accident!
The way that Rami was so freaking patient with Ethan. Even though he knew they were mates, he stayed clear of telling them they were mates. He’s such a green flag. When he took him away after Ethan caught his ex in the act - my poor heart couldn’t handle it.
As usual, Theo and Nate are always a fun time. I cannot wait for one of their stories next. I felt so bad for one of them because everyone has found their mate but him. I really hope that his book will be so epic because his is going to be a fun time.
I’m such a lover for a good fated mates story and good lord, this one hit all the right spots. From the caretaking to being there for him and to just all the right feels. The epilogue definitely had me in my emotions. I was so waiting for that reunion more than anything. I blame his ex for their separation because that was so emotional.
Also, there is a bit of drama at the end but what else is new?
I loved that we get the cameo’s from the other books. I loved the friendship between Quill and Ethan because what?! I loved it when Ethan was brushing hair because how cute is that?!
I cannot wait for more in this series as each book only gets better as each book progresses. Such an amazing read

Babies, the both of em! Rami and Ethan were really cute together, I enjoyed the ways they were there for each other's emotional journeys, but that's about all they were there for, because......not much happens in this book! Even with Damien Gaunt, the big bad of the book, he was just a specter for most of it and wasn't very impactful at the end. But with that said, I'm not mad at it, because it means we're gonna get the next series of vampire brothers down the line, and I cannot wait. I need a vamp/werewolf pairing in my future!
But yeah, I thought this was a really solid middle book, it reminded me of everything I love about Lark as a writer and about this group of guys, it did a good job bringing back couples and characters from the past books without making it too overwhelmed by all of them, and kept me very entertained. I do wish we'd gotten a little more of Gloria and that plot in all that time, she hasn't appeared since book 2, and it's time to get moving on that again, especially because I worry that a LOT of the twins' books are gonna be about the twins' drama with each other, so will that whole plot of the evil judges of angels be pushed until book 7??? Benji deserves so much better than that!
As a total side note, one thing I'm THRILLED about is that Lyle got removed from the list of potential future characters, I'm praying that means she's come to her senses and realized that especially after the things he did in the third book, that he could ever be even slightly redeemable. He needs to stay off the list. Also interesting that Brodie and Hamish aren't listed under the werewolf-focused series anymore, I'm sensing bridge characters??? Idk, I'm excited for the next five years of this series, she's giving herself a ton of runway left to take.

You know what I love about reading a new Lark Taylor book? I always know for sure that I will love it to pieces. And guess what? I did! Ethan and Rami's story was absolutely beautiful and I'm so so glad I could finally read it. Though I will say, I'm still a bit salty for the horrible way it was teased at the end of the previous book in the series, because it did all kinds of stuff to my heart, but that's Lark Taylor for you, hah. But this was all kinds of wonderful, truly.
If you've read the blurb, you know it's not love at first sight for these two. At least not for Ethan. And I gotta say, I really felt for Rami. My heart ached for him so bad! But also Ethan. He's been through so much and I just wanted to give him a hug the whole time. Both of them. Their story played out beautifully though. I was swooning and melting the whole time. And, despite the fact that I know Lark isn't afraid of angst, this one was fairly low on the scale. There is a threat, of course, but overall it's more on the lower side of the angst scale. (Definitely not at the same level of Ferry or Sebastian's books, where I couldn't even get through the prologues without sobbing...) Really, it just felt like a warm hug, with a side of nailbiting occasionally.
It was also fun seeing the others again, because I love everyone in this universe Lark has created, and I'm so excited for the next book in the series! It's definitely one of the characters I've been anticipating for a while now. Needless to say, I highly recommend this one. But do read the rest of the series. And Lark's other books. Because they're all amazing.

It’s time for Rami to find his fated mate!
In this one, Ethan is nearing the end of a lonely battle with terminal cancer, and his partner does nothing to help support him. But unforeseen circumstances push him right in front of Rami. Rami saves Ethan’s life, but when he realizes he’s in a relationship, he backs off. These two must navigate this situation, as well as an unknown danger in order to be together.
As always, this book is going to give you a very similar vibe to the other books in the series, and you can expect a lot of cameos from the supporting cast of characters from the connected books.

-a very sweet caretaker angel who is way better than a cheating ex
-photographer x his “model” (Rami we know you aren’t really a model but we get it)
-TW for terminal illness and themes of death!
This book was a little bit of a mixed bag for me. The best thing? Rami 😛 He was flirty, handsome, huge, attentive AF, sweet, and probably the ideal partner that almost anyone would go crazy for. It was soooooo nice to see Ethan get treated so well after all he’s gone through. It made me sad that people like Ethan can’t have magical healing sexy partners in real life 🥲
These books are definitely addictive, and I always find myself reading them religiously as soon as a new one drops. I will say, the fact that it follows the exact same plot formula as the 10 books that come before it is lowkey becoming frustrating, as I really wanna see something new from this series! But despite this, it’s still addictive! I still enjoyed the characters, I still like this series, and imma still pick up the next one 😂
I liked that we got more from certain side characters in this one! But in terms of the villain arc, it was so random, literally felt out of nowhere. But maybe it was to introduce us to some more characters! Just what we need… MORE characters to extend this universe 😈🤣

Where do I start? ENCHANTED, Hopeless Blessed #4 , was another incredible addition to an already amazing series. Lark Taylor's world of interconnected books should be mandatory reading, as once again she has delivered perfection. From the outset it was a raw emotional journey which brought on laughter, tears, rage and plenty of swooning.
For years Ethan Routliff had been living a lonely life, he was in a relationship where his partner was always absent and didn't seem to care, he was also battling a life threatening illness. Rami, a member of the Seraphim, wanted nothing more than to find his fated mate. He often thought he had felt his prescence, but then would lose it. Behind the scenes someone was working hard to prevent Rami from meting his mate, A chance encounter will change Ethan and Rami's lives forever, and it was the sweetest journey to witness.
Rami isn't jusT a golden retriever, he's giant teddy bear with plenty of hugs and love to give Ethan. He is undeniably sweet and determined to get Ethan to beieve he is derserving of love and a much better life. With the help of his angel and demon brothers, especially Sam, Rami sets out to form a friendhsip with Ethan hoping he won't turn away when he discover Rami's real identity.Rami and ethan had me swooning, their chemistry was red hot and their spice was absolutely delicious.
As usual the inhabitants of the Seraphim mansion provide plenty of humourous entertainment, especially the twins Theo and Nate. I adored Sam's role in getting Rami and Ethan together, he really does love watching others find love. The real heart warming moents were those involving the interactions between Ethan and Quill. He recognised Quill's emotional condition and did everything he could to put him at ease. Ethan's developing relationship with Quill was just as important as the one between Ethan and Rami.
ENCHANTED was another superb story and I can't wait for more.

This might be my favorite of the Hopeless Blessed series so far. Rami is such a sweetheart and I was so happy to see Ethan again!
I have read a LOT of books with fated mates, it’s one of my favorite tropes, but this book did something that I very rarely see- it showed the ways in which fate really shaped the lives of both these characters so that they would be perfect for each other. In fated mates stories you often see how the lovers complement each other, but here we see actual things that occurred in their lives to shape them into who they needed to be.
I also felt that this installment was a little more lighthearted than the ones before. It still dealt with some very heavy topics, but it also allowed the characters to have a little fun while they fell for each other.
I can’t wait for the next installment and I strongly encourage anyone who enjoys hurt/comfort and fated mates to go all the way back to the beginning (starting with Devil’s Mark) and read the connecting series as well. (I received an advanced copy at no charge but my review is both voluntary and honest)
