A short all feels age gap love story! It's nice to read a "he falls first" love story that builds with time and even with the initial meeting not going as planned, Andrew (Drew) realized his mistake in leaving Taylor sitting in that coffee shop, but he was stunned with her revelation!
Dating a minor was not on his agenda, as an up and coming Lawyer in LA, he was striving to become partner in the firm he was working in.
But the heart wants what the heart desires, and as hard as he tried to stay away, he couldn't. So on her 18th birthday he made a surprise appearance, hoping that she still wanted to see him and get to know him.
Everything seems to be ideal until it isn't!
Taylor has a stalker, who is obsessed with her, and although a close contact to the family, he knew he had to initiate a plan to be with Taylor and help her forget Drew.
When Drews law firm find he is dating a young 18 y.o. he resigns rather than giving up Taylor for the chance at partnership.
Then, In walks a job offer.....be the La Sacra Corona Mafia's Lawyer, on retainer. He refused, not wanting to work for the Mafia.
When Taylor goes missing, Andrew accuses the head of the La Sacra Corona, Christopher, thinking he had kidnapped her, But they didn't. So who did? He soon realized that he needed their help to find Taylor.

This was an engaging read; the characters were interesting and captivating. The series promises to be intriguing.
Andrew and Taylor make a compelling couple. Their love and devotion to each other are evident, and their chemistry is fantastic. They are a fun and well-matched pair, and it's clear that they are meant to be together despite the obstacles they face.
The story includes romance, suspense, highs, and lows, and we particularly enjoyed Taylor's supportive and loving family. They were portrayed as kind, adding depth to the story. The plot was enjoyable, with unexpected twists, a touch of danger, and intriguing elements.
Andrew's new bosses added a mysterious and suspenseful element to the story, making Andrew a swoon-worthy character. We're excited to see what happens next in the series.

I voluntarily reviewed "ILLUSION" I was completely hooked on this mysterious intense drama, with twists, danger, steam, kidnapping, you can't put down.
Andrew a Lawyer wanted to be a partner in his firm where he worked, but he met Taylor & felt like he was missing out.
When Andrew finds out how old Taylor is he backs off.
Taylor wants to experience new things now she's finished college meeting Andrew she felt like she had it all.

I look forward to reading more from these authors’ whose work I recommend.

These two ladies make a powerful writing duo. Their words compliment each other well. Taylor and Andrew's story is one you don't want to miss. It's full of love but with love comes heartache. There's danger lurking. Will Andrew be able to save Taylor or will he be too late? This one will keep you turning the pages to see if these two get the HEA they deserve. I definitely recommend it.

Taylor and Drew age gap romance. Only he is not aware of significant age difference until he surprises her in person. She admits the truth and leaves and she is left wondering where they stand. However things change and they begin a relationship but there is a twist. Throw in mafia and a little suspense buy a happy ending.

Slow burn start, character development. Half way through excitement begins with an attempted rape, then a calm down, then a kidnapping by a stalker, a killer, a rescue (with mafia help), and HEA.

This book was wild to me from start to finish. The age gap, the kidnapping, the mafia involvement, just...all of it. It was well written, but in the end it just wasn't for me. Thank you to the author for allowing me to read an ARC of this book.

An age gap romance that starts with a lie. A good story with intrigue and drama. Taylor and Drew were great characters. I really enjoyed this story!!!
