Finished it in one sitting. The adventures, the thrilling part was when they tried to run away from the werewolf. So loving it!

Another story that was definitely unique but not really anything exciting for me. I like the Skinwalker idea, but here the shapeshifter is the bad guy. And the connection between the hero and heroine happens way too fast for me. But the suspense and the chase was a nice change - this was almost more of a suspense novel.

Quick Werewolf Romp

I tend not to favor novellas. Too quick of a read to get great character depth. It's a nice addition to
Lori Handelands Jagger-Sucher line (spelling!), but really only makes sense if you've read any.
Some steamy sex and interesting info on Navajo myths. Really liked that research!

The timeline for this story was ridiculous. These types of books are not meant for Novellas. I only read this because I liked the first book. I will read the next full length book and hope it’s at least as good as the first one.

Reread. Again I found a good read in this book. I would not mind more stories in this series.

One day my sister told me I bought this book but it's not really the kind I like it's about werewolves. I laughed and said I read Sci-fi but never really read werewolf novels. But I took the book anyway it was called "Blue Moon" and I was hooked. I read every Nightcreature novel in the series. And was very disappointed when Lori Handeland ended the series. So when this novella called Red Moon Rising showed up on my Kindle I was happy to find a book in the series I hadn't read. The characters in this one was new to me except of course for Edward who shows up at the end. If you haven't read the series you don't know what you're missing. And unlike me read them in order which makes them even better. And hopefully Lori Handeland has a few more nightcreature novels to write.

Initially released in the anthology, Stroke of Midnight, this installment in The Nightcreature series has a slightly different twist to it. Instead of werewolves we’ve got a Navajo skinwalker who is stalking Maya. And only Clay, the Jäger-Sucher sent to the area after a number of bodies had turned up dead, is able to keep her alive.

Nice story about two people who come together under the worst of circumstances, each who had been very much alone. And the skinwalker? This guy is really motivated in his need to kill her during the month of the Red Moon.

There doesn’t appear to be any tie-in with Sawyer from the Phoenix Chronicles.

Maya and Clay meet when he saves her from a crazed wolf. Things aren’t always as they seem though, and if they survive the Red Moon Rising will they be able to forge a life together? I have read this story numerous times and still really enjoy it.
