The fifth book in the heartwarming HOTEL FLAMINGO series, featuring the adventures of Anna and her array of animal friends!
'Truly heartwarming and uplifting. I'd love to book a room there myself' - Philip Ardagh on HOTEL FLAMINGO
Welcome to the snowiest hotel in town!
Winter has arrived at Hotel Flamingo! The snow is falling heavily, and while it's usually a quiet time of year for Anna and her animal hotel, this year is shaping up a little differently...
The hotel is full of guests taking part in the Winter White-out Games, from penguins to polar bears to snowboarding rabbits. On top of this, long-term hotel resident Mrs Turpington is preparing for her winter hibernation along with her fellow hibernating animals, and is expecting a party to be held for them - but can it go ahead when Hotel Flamingo is snowed in?
Anna and her team will have to pull out all the stops to pull off the most magical frosty fiesta that Animal Boulevard has ever seen!
Read in Dutch, will review in English which will mean I will use the Dutch names as I don't know the English ones for the new characters.
-Loved seeing our flamingo lady again (though I hated her nephew). -Loved the turtle and what she wanted to do for her friends and then seeing the party. -Loved the amount of snow! -Loved our MC and her hotel friends (though not the cook though I had a laugh she was easily manipulated in doing something and then also fully going for it). -Loved the winter games (but why didn't anyone tell our MC about it, haha). -Loved the various sports. -Loved the art/illustrations. -Had a laugh at the polar bear couple.
Hotel Flamingo had a cold snap. There were snowstorms and blizzards. It was going to last for weeks, but for a few weeks, they had sun and no blizzards and snowstorms. They had the winter games there instead of on the mountains.
I was thrilled when I saw there was a new Hote Flamingo - this series is so lovely! Proper heartwarming. Anna and her crew will do anything for the animals in need staying at her hotel. Just gorgeous
