The only alpha I've ever loved is completely out of my reach.
Rhett Wolfhart is everything I want in an alpha. Growing up alongside him taught me just how kind and courteous he was, and he was there for me during the single worst moment of my life. The catch? He's my best friend's older brother, and I doubt he's ever seen me as anything more than his little sister's best friend.
Though parties make me anxious, I agree to attend his housewarming party only to find he's somehow become even more perfect since we last saw each other. And his packmate, Blake, is the kind of charming and handsome that puts me at ease but makes it all the more clear that this will never be the pack for me.
Then my suppressants fail, and Pack Wolfhart refuse to let me believe that I belong anywhere but at their sides.
This was a very sweet read. I really enjoyed the characters and I hope we get more books with the other omegas as well. I really love that you had some growth from background characters and characters got their comeuppance! I definitely recommend if you are looking for something low angst and insta lovey!
This was such a great Omegaverse book. It was sweet and cozy, but also quite steamy as an Omegaverse book should be.
This is a book about Julia, who is an omega, and her alphas, Rhett and Blake. The focus is on the building of their relationship and their emotional growth as both individuals and as a pack. The book is sweet and cozy for the most part, though each of the main characters had issues growing up.
I loved the side characters in this book so much, and am very much looking forward to seeing where this series goes. I really hope we get stories for each of the other omegas we met in this book.
While I've read many omegaverse novels, I've avoided mpreg up to this point.
And while it was a secondary male omega character who was the "mother" in this book, everytime "mother" and "he" were mentioned together it pulled me out of the story.
While I prefer m/f content, or even mmmf content, and have no problem with swords crossing, I still find mpreg really uncomfortable. I know omegaverse is a fantasy world anyway, with scent matches and bonding bites, so why not mpreg?
IDK.
That really was a minor background bit, but stayed with me.
Now, potential spoiler here, but when it came to Collette and Sin, I kept expecting something sinister to happen. Am I the only one? l

This was a really sweet story. I loved everything that they did and went through except the ending seemed off - she didn’t have her baby - just found a brother and mother but it didn’t go any farther - just ended there. Would love to have had a second part or went a little farther with the baby and new family
This debut novel was so hard for me to put down! Tragically Yours is a very sweet omegaverse story of a scent matched pack determined to help their omega heal, and one of my top reads for this year. Julia is such a sweet omega and is so deserving of all the love that she gets in this book from her alphas, best friends, and found family. The two alphas are so easy to love and we get to see how much they love Julia and take care of her and everyone important to her too.
The set up for the omegaverse in this series hits so many of my favourite tropes, and hints at others that I'm really hoping that we will get to see in future books. We are introduced to a good number of side characters, and I'm really hoping we get to see more of their stories. Especially Theo and Ephraim... and Alexa and Bliss too! Julia getting pregnant early on was so GOOD! It was a refreshing change to get to see an omega getting to nest and share the news with everyone. And the extra doting alphas are a great added bonus too.
The different bonds that we see adds to the typical alpha/omega dynamic. I may have cheered when Julia marked each of her alphas back. The ascendant bond was something that was new to me in omegaverse but it was such a perfect fit for Julia and her pack. The fact that they are both her scent matches just added another layer to their ascendant bond and how committed to her they both are.
Julia's backstory made my heart hurt for her. Rhett and Blake did such a good job reassuring her and building her up to slowly help her heal. Her friends also rally around her when she needs them, either with distractions or affection. And I think that she is helping her mates to heal too. I was really happy that we get to see her healing and growth throughout the book, and I was cheering so much for her when she got to confront Chad! I was also cheering when Rhett punched her step dad.
Rhett and Blake stole (a lot) a bit of my heart too. They have a rock-solid relationship, and balance each other out really well. One of my favourite moments is when Blake sees Rhett looking at Julia and has the thought that the way that Rhett looks at Julia wasn't something he's ever seen from him, that is was a look created just for her... melted my heart instantly. Getting to see a character through the eyes of their partner(s) is always my favourite thing to see in books, and this book delivers on that in so many ways!
Rhett is so intense and serious and so very much in love with Julia. He had his own things he was dealing with as a kid, but it made my heart happy hearing him talk about all the times he got dragged along for the ride on Julia and Alexa's adventures. Blake is a giant golden retriever alpha and I absolutely love him for it. He also showed that he can handle the serious things, and he works so hard to make sure that Julia knows how loved she is. He has his own family history that he's working on, but he is for his mate, his moms, and himself.
My heart was so happy with how things turned out for Julia and finding family who truly loves her. Rhett's family had always been there doing what they could, and then she also gained relationships with Blake's mom, Collette, and Sin. I was with Blake in thinking that meeting Collette was going to be a good thing, and then we also got to meet Sin and I was highly entertained by him and his banter.
The final chapter made my night. I couldn't stop smiling when the guys gave Julia the photo board and their additions to it. Such a sweet and thoughtful gift, and Blake adding his senior pic was a very cute touch. Then their proposal had me cooing all over them again! Such a great HEA for everyone.
This book also delivers on the spice between Julia and each of her mates. Julia is the center of their pack and they let her have the best experiences for all of her firsts. And you get a little taste of everything, done with great skill and enthusiastic consent, throughout the whole book!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one and I will be continuing to read this series and books by this author in the future

🌶️- 2.5 ⭐️ - 2.5/5 (rounded up) MFM SPOILERS BELOW I loved many things in this book just as much as I didn’t like many things in this book. I originally rated this a 2 last night but it just didn’t feel right to keep it that low.
Julia and Rhett pined for each other for a long time, but with her being younger and his sister’s best friend/best friend’s brother, they didn’t make it known. I love that Rhett worked hard to create an amazing life for her.
Did you notice that I didn’t mention Blake? Blake was constantly an afterthought throughout this book. When he tells her he loves her, she continuously refuses his words. Like hello he’s bonded to you, isn’t it obvious? Every time someone asked about her alphas or when she’d talk about them it was always conversations bragging about Rhett. I mean even at the end of the book, repeated for the 138&4738 time Blake said something along the lines of “I don’t know you as well as Rhett but I plan to spend the rest of my life getting to know you.” He was such an overshadowed character that this book should have been an MF romance. And I hate even saying that because I loved Blake. Probably more than Julia did. I mean come on, he joined the pack just for her. Why wouldn’t he love her?
I love MM & FF books and although these weren’t main characters, I loved the secondary characters. I will say, since there was no content mentions of MPREG, if that’s something that isn’t for you, the parents did have MPREG (Rhett’s and Blake’s). I personally don’t read MPREG books when it comes to main characters but I didn’t mind having it with the secondary characters. I thought it was cute, truly. The only thing that did make it confusing is while the male omegas were called Mom they were also called she/he and him/her inconsistently or maybe it was the layout of the paragraph? It made it just a little confusing. But other than that I loved Ansel the most out of the parents. 🥹🫶🏼
The Colette situation was unnecessary and felt more like a filler if you ask me, or should have happened earlier in the book.
We were built up from the first part of the book that Julia wanted to get pregnant and they spend a heat with zero protection. Just for them to find out she’s pregnant literally in the last third of the book and when the book ends she’s only 6 weeks pregnant. We don’t get an epilogue of her having birth, we don’t experience what life is like for them being parents. The whole reason why I picked up this book is because someone on Facebook recommended this book stating that she goes through intentional pregnancy (true) throughout the book. And while yes she was pregnant throughout it, they don’t find out about the pregnancy until the end. Like really? Super annoying lol.
The spice - while it’s good and I love the multiple DVP scenes, they were also super spread out. First at 35%, 39%, 46% but then we don’t get anything until 73% and then and again at 79%. With it being only a ménage, I would have thought it would be more spicy.
There were also a few glaring spelling and grammar errors.
While there were these things that I didn’t like, there are things that I loved. Like how Rhett punched her stepdad in the nose and Blake squeezed his nose. Like how they were absolutely dedicated and understanding with her and built this beautiful life for her. I just wish Blake wasn’t on the back burner. I felt so bad because he felt like a third wheel throughout the entire book. Even while being bonded.
Favorite quote: “My gorgeous mate acting all shy, like I wasn’t made to worship you.” - Rhett

This is the first book in the Rose hollow Omegas, a series of interconnected standalones. A sweet omegaverse story, this book follow Julia, a young Omega learning to accept love. I received an advance review copy and my thoughts are my own. Thank you to the author for my eArc.
Tropes and themes include: ✨Why choose (mfm) ✨Scent matches ✨Best friend’s brother ✨Surprise heat ✨First time nesting ✨Billionaire pack ✨Finding family ✨Small pack ✨Mating bonds/bites
Rating: 3.5/5 Stars 3/5 Flames
The Lovely: I like the comfy, low stakes vibes of this book. There’s not really a conflict outside of the FMC dealing with family issues so this is a very character and relationship focused story. The MMCs are absolute cinnamon rolls and know how to treat their omega (and other omegas).
The Mundane: Spelling and grammar issues aside (as those are usually taken care of between ARC and final copy), there were some continuity errors, such as the MMC’s dad knowing who their mate was at one point, to not knowing later. It felt like the story could have benefited from another round of polishing.
Recommendation: While I generally go far darker stories, I sometimes like a break for something cozier, especially when the pack is absolutely devoted to showering their omega with love. This book definitely hit that spot!
I have been thoroughly in an omegaverse mood, so this ARC came at the perfect time and I was so excited to dive in. And Lockwood did not disappoint. Tragically Yours was incredibly sweet and thoroughly enjoyable. The characters do fall into the new adult/college age range, although we don’t see enough of the characters at school for it to really be a college romance. It is an MFM pack, so if that’s not your cup of tea, you’ll want to pass on this one. But we have all the fun tropes like surprise heat and knotting that often come with omegaverse. I thought the world-building was pretty solid. There were some pretty unique pieces that were fun to see and clever, like different levels of pack bonds/mating marks. And I felt like we have a solid set up for the series going forward. The main characters very easily won me over. They were interesting and well developed, and it was easy to become invested in them. There were some story threads that I felt like were dropped partway through. I’m hopeful that’s part of the setup for the rest of the series. But it was something that I noticed and would have preferred to he handled a little differently. Overall, I gave this 4 stars and 3 🌶️ for the spice.
This book is perfect if you are looking for a sweet nice and easy book. There is some childhood trauma for Julia, the omega, and Blake, one of the alphas. It is addressed and the causes dealt with satisfactorily. There is no angst within or surrounding the pack. There is some spice as expected within an omegaverse and this is well written.
The supporting characters were fun and nuanced. I think it is setting up for a good series.
I have issues toward the end with the introduction of Collette though. It seems highly improbable that what happens happens and I struggled to suspend my disbelief. From then on the ending also felt very rushed. There’s no epilogue to give full closure and I feel a bit cheated.
I’m hoping as this is one in a series and there were lots of Easter eggs for the supporting characters that we’ll get reprisals in future books.
I’ve rated 4 star as the majority of the book was well written and enjoyable but marked it down for the abrupt ending
I loved reading this story. It is a warming story of healing, unconditional love of friends, family and soulmates. It filled me with warm feelings all the way through. There is some spice but love entwined made it off the charts. This is not a shifter but a genetic of omega verse that includes Alpha, Omega and Bata genetics. The concept of respecting an Omega is highly valued in this story line. Thank you Acacia Lockwood for giving me a dreamy warm feeling after reading your book. It did have some confusion with he and she grammar reference the end part of the book when family of the male mates was written and meeting. I had to reread several sentences to figure out who was male and female. It did almost throw me off. It was written like the mom was a male. Finally I just let it go so I could enjoy the story. And I did very much enjoy the end of the story. I'm looking forward to what I'm hoping is a next book of Rosehollow Omegas in the future.
I did really enjoy this book. It was a very sweet and cozy omegaverse book. It was a break from all the darker one I have been reading. I was immediately engrossed in it and didnt want to put it down. It was a mutual fall first and it was so very cute. I enjoyed that this book gave us a look at two of the main character's shared past together to give us a feel for what it was like a year ago. The backstory information the author gave for the characters helped me to connect to the characters on a deeper lever. There were times that the individual memories and backstories of Rhett, Julia and Blake made me feel sorry and saddened for him The one issue that I did have with the story is that I felt that it was a very abrupt ending to the story. Overall I would definitely read it again and I will recommend this book to anyone who loves RH and omegaverse.
I tried to get through this.. I've had it downloaded for weeks (I usually read my books in one to two days...) but I just couldn't.
First of all... I have NO issue with male omegas. Male pregnancy is usually iffy for me.. but I've never read a book where the male omega is called both "her" and "him" and is referred to as "mother" so that was VERY confusing. I just kept having to re-read those parts because I would get a little lost on who we were talking about. And they came up a lot so...
That aside.. I was just waiting for SOMETHING to happen? The drama with her family was very quickly resolved and the chemistry was iffy for me... so I kept getting a little bored.
I wanted to love this book, I've had it on my kindle for weeks now. my biggest issue is the over explanation of EVERYTHING,there was like 4 or 5 pages explaining what the outside of the house looked like and another 3 or 4 about how the nest looked. Imo its not necessary to go that into detail and it got old fast. Then the whole claiming bite sparkling is where It completely lost me.
It was super cute, low angst and in the end HEA Do i kinda wish it was better written with grammar and spelling check, yes Do i how for more of this series, yep Over all id give it about a 3.5 With room for improvement and how of more
For having the word “tragically” in the title is very low angst, so I enjoyed it but i spent the whole book waiting for the other shoe to drop, but everything developed very quickly, smoothly and all came together without encounter any real drama or confrontation
DNF @ 30% I just could not care less about the characters. She’s meek and sad, he wants to fuck her, and the pack mate just jumped all in on pursuing her after knowing nothing about her other than the other guy wants her? That’s about the extent of the depth of the characters so far
This was a really weird read for me, I did enjoy it, because of the whole omega dynamics etc, but it was just bizarre how they both mated her. I dunno.
