Jamie Malton is an American, non-fiction writer. She is the author of Killer Case Files: Jamie Malton’s Best True Crime Series which is an anthology of crime stories where the author examines the homicides perpetrated by murderers and serial killers.
Drawn to the how and why of real crime stories and fascinated by the detailed police work, DNA reconstruction, and genetic genealogy, she started writing her books to share the details of these stories with her readers.
For book research, she splits her time between the USA and European destinations where she often visits some of the places where crimes have occurred.
With criminal apprehension and victim restitution as a personal cause, she donates a portion of her book sales to charities that fund DNA reconstruction to solve cold cases and charities that support the families of murdered victims.

I remember hearing/reading a few of the stories featured in this newest volume. All of the stories are appalling and very tragic. The body count if you added them all up from all of the stories is over hundreds. Yes, hundreds...plural!!
A common theme I did see in a bunch of the stories is that the person responsible wanted to be the hero in the mayhem that they created in the first place. So many suffered. No remorse was felt for the victims. Ice cold k!llers.
Although, not to say that people would not have still lost their lives, but a lot less would have if neglect on the side of the employers had not transpired and the turning of heads from other co-workers. This volume had me very captivated.
I found this book to be very moving, compelling and chilling. It details several cases of nurses and doctors who blatantly administered the wrong drugs to the most vulnerable patients: the elderly and babies and small children. I really got struck about how cocky, arrogant and psychopathic some of these murderers were, how they manufactured emotions when "comforting" the relatives of the poor patients. Unfortunately, some of these nurses and doctors managed to avoid prison for several years; just moving from hospital to hospital. Reading about how the minds of these murderers work was quite fascinating, but also chilling. This book is suitable for true crime fans.
This true crime collection is both captivating and deeply disturbing. Focusing on doctors and nurses who used their positions to harm instead of heal, the stories span different countries and time —and they’re as tragic as they are shocking. Many of these killers wanted to be seen as heroes in the chaos they created. Talk about ice in their veins.
The research had to be exhaustive. The writing pulls you in with all the unsettling details, and while I recognized a few of the cases, most were new to me. If you’re a true crime buff who doesn’t shy away from the darker side of humanity, this book is well worth picking up.
This is such a good book, and like Jamie's other books, had me hooked and blitzing through them. This book focuses on nurses and doctors who kill. It's evident that she has carried out research for this book, and she provides details about the crime and any updates relating to them. There were a couple of cases I expected to see in there which weren't so I hope it's a subject that Jamie will revisit. A must for any true crime fan.
I have been eating up the true crime books by Jamie Malton. This one is also written by Aiden Galway. It is volume 14 of the Curated True Crime series. The book contains details about a number of different cases. There is so much detail included, and it made me keep reading. I received an ARC copy from the author, and this is my honest review.
This was a disturbing book that details mainly the deaths of people in hospitals and institutions by the doctors and nurses who were hired to provide care for them. These deaths occurred all over the world and in different periods of time. I highly recommend this book to other true crime readers. I received an ARC of this book, and the opinion expressed is strictly my own.
This book looks at cases where medical practitioners kill their patients rather than helping them. It also looks at how a mental institution was run a century ago, and looks at a case that inspired Stephen King's novel Misery.
