Pure garbage.

Ewing has taken venom to a all time low. When he took over from Cates I was pleasantly surprised with the new trajectory he had for Eddie and Dylan. However, starting with Venom war, the tone got way too silly and has never recovered. And now, he plans to do the same to Knull. Gross.

The cover and advertising was misleading. I was excited for Knull and we hardly get him. Instead we get told he will be in an issue coming out in January. The story we do get is not exciting and not engaging. The side story was weak too. Dodson's art is great as usual but for a "50" issue this was a big let down.

Fantastic issue! The space action stuff with the Super Skrull juxtaposed with the domestic struggles of MJ/Venom is perfect. I also think this is some of the best work I’ve ever seen from both Dodson and Nauck. And obviously, Al Ewing’s writing is fantastic here, as always.

Doc Ock: AGH! Damn, you!"
Luke Cage: "Wait, you saw Venom?"
Doc Ock: "Yes, that's Venom right there."
Luke Cage: "No, that's Spider-Man."

This is a pretty funny one, honestly. I like the A.I.M and Ock hijinks more, even if it's not the most interesting to me, it is still quite entertaining.

The story was good and I loved Mary Jane take on the Parker Luck. I haven’t followed Venom in years, but this isn’t half bad.
