Enigma sucked my attention from start to finish as Olive hopes to find answers to her family members' deaths. Instead she finds herself in a crime scene. As she and Jason investigate this case involving his father amidst breaking Jason's trust, they unravel more than they suspected and have to be careful who they can trust. This case leads them back to Texas, where it all started with Olive's family members' deaths. Enigma has plenty of action, twists and turns, secrets, surprises, and a satisfying conclusion to this series.

This super suspenseful Pros and Cons series is definitely worth the read. This is book #6 and I have thoroughly enjoyed and recommend reading all of them.

Olive is determined to finally get some answers as to what happened to her family. Without telling Jason, she goes to Florida to question his father about his link to the house she lived in when they were in Oasis. Instead, she finds him on the floor of his house barely alive. Having to call Jason and tell him why she was the one who found his father was hard, but not as hard as trying to figure out what happened to Lloyd and why he disappeared from the hospital hours later. Adding to the drama is Tevin waiting for her answer about her feelings, and intel that she may still have family in the world after all. Jason and Olive know this case is more than they handle alone, but will even the whole team working together be enough to handle the organization that seems to know what they're going to do before they do?
This was a great final book to the series. They answered all the questions and wrapped everything up with a neat little bow. I am a little sad the series is over though, I was really rooting for them and they could keep it going still. Just because she found her family doesn't mean there aren't other scenarios she can go through

Olive Sterling's entire life had revolved around hiding the messy parts, she was just coming to realize how many parts there actually were. Putting her skills as a private investigator to the test, she creates some distance between herself and her team in order to resolve some nagging questions surrounding the deaths of her entire family. Travelling to interview a man who might provide critical information, she finds herself in the middle of a crime scene, and having to contact the one person with the ability to break her heart, Jason Stewart. She had gone behind his back, broken his trust, and now they desperately needed each other. Exactly how was that going to work out? It started by going back to where it all began, a little town in Texas.
As tightly coiled as a rattler and just as deadly, this plot unlayers as it unravels, revealing all of the ugliness in Olive's past for what it was, before opening the door to a new beginning that felt an awful lot like hope.

Amazing book!
This book has web built over another web and yet another. Just when you think you’re getting a pretty good idea about what’s happening, you fall from one web into a new one!
As you get closer to the end, you feel like there is no way to get untangled from the web and there’s a spider inching closer.
Christy Barritt’s books just keep getting deeper and twists and turns more unexpected.
Her characters feel like real people and you can feel the different emotions they have about one another.
Plan to stay up late!!

I had a BETA copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Olive goes to investigate Lloyd Stewart for his possible connection with her family, but she doesn’t tell Jason until she finds his father unconscious on the flood, and drugged. When he disappears from the hospital, they begin following the clues in order to find him. In the process, they find an organized crime ring. A gripping story about trust, friends and family.

Stock up on drinks and snacks because you will be reading this one till the very end!! This book defines suspense as you follow the twists and turns with Olive and Jason up to the heart-stopping conclusion!! Mysterious characters, complex relationships, secrets all around and enough action and mystery that you might be surprised at how this book ends. I received an advance copy from the author but all opinions are my own.

As usual, Christy Barritt has "knocked it out of the park" with this book. Nonstop suspense ensues as Jaason rides to the rescue when Olive stirs up a worldwide crime network, and all her friends appear to be either dead or captives of the cartel. Her old friend Tom Greer, retired FBI guy, has also been digging into the crimes and brings the posse of agents to quell the renegades. Good ending to a very interesting series!

This leads her back to the town she where she went to high school and to investigate her former boyfriend’s dad. All the twisting threads from the past threaten to entangle her future and possibly destroy her life. This exciting suspense novel will keep you enthralled and wanting more. don’t miss this story and series.
Truth matters. The characters in this novel learned that. We cannot have relationship relationships with people there isn’t honesty. This was brought out in this book which I hated to put down until I finished reading it. God matters and that comes out in this book with God in our lives through Jesus Christ. We are able to be overcomers by his Spirits power.

Great ending to this series! Olive Sterling finally tracks down what caused her families murders10 years ago. It’s a mystery she’s been seeking info and clues about for a long time. It turns out to be full of surprises, danger and espionage beyond what she imagined. Jason her old friend is along for the ride and their complicated tumultuous relationship continues to develope.

Should all questions be answered?
Olive has lots of questions about her past. Asking them, though, has unleashed very dangerous circumstances. Drugs, human trafficking, money laundering, etc. are not given up easily and the people involved have no hesitation about taking a life.
Add I a love triangle and it makes my life seem stress free!

What a finale!
Just as I thought there were some answers, along came new information that blew everything out of the water. It happened over and over, and it was hard to know what was the truth and what was more misinformation. There was lots of action and danger, people were hurt, Olive regained her faith and the truth finally came out. It was a very exciting read!

From page one to the end, this book has had me holding my breath! I didn't realize how intense it was until my doorbell rang and I nearly jumped out of my skin! You just have to read it for yourself! Be warned…when you start this book, you will not want to put it down. Another great read by Christy Barritt. I’m assuming this is the final book in this series, and WOW, what a great way to go. Loved the suspense and surprises!

I loved all six of the books in this series, Christy makes sure that you are thoroughly invested in the characters. As usual, well done! I’ve read well over 100 of Christy’s books and haven’t been disappointed in one yet.

Family dies but not really sure though. Could they have been taken to get them to join this criminal gang? No answers. Fear and more fear. This is a novel you cannot but down. Read this book as soon as you can.

What a fantastic continuation of this series. It was one of the most spectacular thrillers and I hated to see it come to an end.

All complicated layers are finally unraveled to showcase this masterful ending of Pros and Cons. Just like Olive, readers grasp to separate fact from fiction. The complicated reveal is stunning.

Great end to the series
This book was so much better than the last one. There was lots of action and everything got tied up as it should. Aside from the culprit monologuing at the end, everything was paced and presented well. I enjoyed it.
