2.5, really. And the only reason I'm rating this high is because the main character actually ISN'T Wolverine. I enjoy the novelty of an unrelated character, with an unrelated basis for his powers, functioning like a "sunnier" version of Wolverine.
I really like seeing Leonard grown up and more in control. It’s such a fun setup for this miniseries! I wasn’t as big a fan of Ahmed’s writing here as I usually am though, I can’t quite put my finger on it but didn’t quite do it for me the way it usually does.
Spare me that, please. Poor little Wendigo is trying to carry on Wolvie’s legacy, having (once again) become a soulless killer. Kurt and his family are just there to add to the cheap drama. The artwork’s rubbish to boot.
The Wendigo Wolverine is just a little too earnest. He comes across as a little cringe. I didn't even like his story when he couldn't talk. This crossover isn't for me. I would deem it skippable for the most part. The Simone X-Men book is decent.
