Confused

This finale is not good. There were so many unanswered questions. Marley's Dad doesn't know who shot him? What is going on with Don? Can we more clarity from him on how he is doing? Are the twins okay with Digga? This was horrible.

Cinco estrellas.

Este es el tercer libro y sí le voy a dar las cinco estrellas. A los otros dos les había dado 4.5 porque no terminaban de convencerme del todo, pero este final sí me dio lo que yo necesitaba.

No siento que haya sido un final como tan guau, pero sí se logró lo que yo quería. Lo que yo estaba pidiendo durante los otros libros, finalmente me lo dieron. Y si tú estás pidiendo algo tanto y te lo dan, tú tienes que ser agradecida. Así que cinco estrellas.

Me gustó mucho el final. Lo disfruté muchísimo.

Ahora, hubo muchas cosas del libro que me generaron controversia. Por ejemplo, cómo quitaron a ciertos personajes del medio, la culpa de cómo lo vivieron los demás y cómo se terminó resolviendo todo a favor de los protagonistas. También sentí que algunas cosas se solucionaron demasiado rápido y hubo ciertos giros argumentales que no sentí que estuvieran tan bien construidos.

Llegaba un momento en el que yo decía: ¿eh? ¿Qué está pasando? No estoy entendiendo. Porque de repente todo se resolvía y era como que, al final, ninguno era culpable, ni uno ni el otro. Entonces sí hubo varias cosas que me dejaron un poco confundida.

Pero, de todas formas, me gustó.

Es de esas lecturas que sirven para leer en momentos en los que no quieres pensar demasiado. Es una historia que simplemente te metes a leer, disfrutas los momentos y sigues avanzando. Y yo la disfruté mucho.

También tengo que decir que no pude mejorar mi relación con Zara. Siento que sigue siendo una mala amiga. Eso no se lo voy a quitar. Pero, al mismo tiempo, le permito lo que hizo. Como que entiendo por qué actuó así y puedo aceptar su final.

Siento que, al final, todas consiguieron lo que querían. Zara se quedó con el que más plata tenía y está viviendo una vida que, supuestamente, quería. Aunque tampoco sé si terminó teniendo exactamente la vida que ella quería, porque ella quería la vida de la mamá de la pareja que tiene actualmente. Pero bueno.

Zara put* siempre sera.

Aun así, entiendo su final. Aunque yo no quería que ese fuera su final porque siento que Zara fue medio malita y no creo que necesariamente se mereciera terminar de esa manera, también entiendo que su historia tenía que llegar a ese punto.

Y, sinceramente, me alegra que no recuperara su amistad del todo.

Porque fue una mala amiga y no quería que después de todo lo que pasó simplemente volvieran a ser amigas como si nada.

Pero lo que más importa es que me alegra muchísimo el final. Yo estaba pidiendo ese final. Lo necesitaba. Y cuando finalmente me lo dieron, lo amé.

Así que sí: cinco estrellas.

No porque haya sido un final perfecto ni porque todo haya estado perfectamente construido, sino porque fue el final que yo necesitaba para esta historia. Y eso hizo toda la diferencia para mí.

I was wondering how this would end

I love black Lavish books, she takes you on all these twisty turns and to be honest I just knew not one or maybe all of the Bishop boys would be done in.All of them could have got it because they all got dirt behind them. I am not going to spoil because I don’t so I will sum book like this. It’s a game of Chess a bishop cannot win a game against a lone king, While it's possible to win with a king and bishop against a king if the opponent makes a mistake, the bishop's limited movement along diagonals prevents it from controlling enough squares to trap the lone king into checkmate. But, a bishop can win possibly when Marly is his Queen….Checkmate Black Lavish

Omg this series is off the chain and so lit. My girls have been catching hell at first. I'm so glad Bishop is dead. It's wrong how tge police shot up Pope and tried to put it on the King mafia. See, the police didn't know that the kings weren't supposed to touch Don and Pope . But i glad my boys served, and two of them got families. I would love an update on them like a holiday one cause I wanna know what's going on with Zara and Don. U did good on yet another book and I'm looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

Hate that it’s ending

Everything worked out for everyone. I loved that. Juke was alive. He was reunited with his baby girl, and she’s expecting ☺️ Pope survived and has his baby girl along with his woman, Marley. Don and Pope found out that Digga is their real dad. Don got away and took Zara with him. Malice did right by Tyler. I loved when he brought her parents in. She decided to keep the baby and they are in a relationship. I was so happy for her! Marley’s grandma got to have her family back. It crazy she knew all that time about Juke but didn’t tell Marley. I’m glad Juke was alive because that lifted a weight off of Pope’s shoulders.

I really feel like Marley isn’t too street savvy or natured so keeping this big secret from her was necessary. She could’ve exposed so much with the evidence she found, knowing she still had people from her father’s camp who protected her as well as being involved with Pope. The “Bishops” took a new leaf and I can definitely see the evolution of them. I was afraid Dom would start spiraling but he figured out that that small town was keeping him mentally down. Hopefully mama does the same or at least elevates without her demons weighing her down

Ok so Juke is alive and the way he’s moving makes it clear he has no clue who shot him. Im going to say he didn’t see the face.

Well I guess I’m glad their momma got the help she needed. All the sons got their woman. And Juke was not dead. Oh wait and the twins meet their real daddy… Digga!

But let’s talk about this third book’s writing, because whew. It definitely wasn’t proofread. One minute Zara leaving with Pope, next minute it’s Don again — like the author forgot who she was with. Even with the mix‑ups, the storyline played out exactly how I expected: everybody got what they wanted.

The End!

I wasn't feeling this story at first with Bishop and his thoughts of the ultimate bloodline but it go a little better. The end was the best part since the Bishop brothers were finding their way out of the mess Bishop created. Some things were still confusing like why Marley's father faked his death and why he seems to be still hiding, why didn't Zara come back? Did their mother get back with Digger? Etc. I think this is it so we'll never know

I’m glad that Bishop got his due diligence. I didn’t like the fact that he wanted to kidnap Marley and have Malice procreate a baby with her. I’m glad Malice fell in love with Tyler and had a baby with her. Zara and Don need to have a story and Tyler and Malice. I’m glad their mother kicked her bad habit. If it weren’t for Bishop she wouldn’t have been hooked on drugs. Overall, I recommend this series. I can’t to read more from this author.

Family is Everything

I truly enjoyed this book and the ending had me smiling so hard!!!…

I was happy for Don and Zara, but as they journey out together, I think as 2 misfits, they will figure it out and be happy they decided to take the journey together!!!…

wasn’t expecting that

So basically Marley, Tyler, and Zara all ended up with the brothers. I surely wasn’t expecting Don to end up with Zara but they were both fighting demons. I’m happy Juke was still alive and came back to Polk County to see his daughter. This was a great read. I enjoyed all three books.

Part 3 sucked

I didn't like the end at all. I just felt like so much was left unsaid. Like why didn't Marley's dad confront Pope about him shooting him or where did Don and Zara go on their road trip, or even how Malice and Tyler are doing with the baby. I just didn't care for the read at alllllllllll.

I didn’t want it to end.. I’m happy that everyone got their happy ending.. The daughter kinda made me mad. She did exactly what they said don’t tell nobody her dad was alive and what she do told Pope I just smh.. but over all I’m happy with the ending.. I hope we get an update from this crew

Loose Ends Everywhere

The series finale did not wrap up any loose ends. We don’t get an update on Don. The brothers do not display brotherly love. The story doesn’t expand so we can see each of them in their actual lives. The POV’s given don’t show growth or depth. It felt very slapped together and rushed.

Omg these are 3 of the best books I’ve read and believe me, I’ve read plenty. The Bishop boys had my heart and all it took for them to take out their so called father, was the love they had for their mom. I loved all 3 books from beginning to end. This one is a miss. It was extremely hard to get into. It was a dumb plot and all over the place. There was no character development, and unnecessary dialogues. There was not 1mm of chemistry between the couples. Don’t waste your time.
