Hidden ties entangle those you love when you lead a double life…
USA Today bestselling mother & daughter writing duo, Jamie Begley & Sarah Brianne, have collaborated again to give you Hidden Ties. An interweaved duet that holds two smoldering stories with the most cunning of men.
Creed is loyal to no one, while Salvatore Lastra’s family ties run deep. Not exactly the reputable businessmen they appear to be, both know the deadly consequences of their chosen profession. One false move, and a life could be held in the balance—theirs. Choices will have to be made. Will love cost them everything, or will hidden ties break them apart?
Each character in this brand-new duet has a secret dying to be exposed in their previously written worlds, so you’ll be reconnected with your favorite criminal masterminds and get to meet some exciting new ones along the way.
Jamie Begley is not your average Kentucky girl, and while she does like to cook her southern meals, this down-home momma prefers living in her biker and alien worlds!

I'm not even entirely sure why I liked this. Be warned though. The H Creed cheats on h Sage. But as individual characters I liked them. Just wish they had more relationship time in the book. Also, this can't really be read as a standalone. You'll get past characters from JB's cross over series. And her daughter's Made Men series which I haven't read. So back to the cheating. If you're familiar with how JB wrote her crossover series of the Texas MC The Predators, you know a lot of the heroes in that series cheat for club business or to get personal information. Some went as far as sex. That would be Ice. Other's groping etc. Our H here is using a woman named Livvy that works in the law firm he's working at to get revenge on the CEO that stole and put his father in prison. He decides to use Sage as she's an easy target to get more of what he wanted out of the law firm. She was working as a file clerk. I thought it was a good story. Creed himself was hot minus his yuckiness with Livvy. I only wish Sage pushed harder to make him work for it. She basically would have had to outsmart him though. He pushed his way back into her life and forced marriage on her. He gave her ultimatums if she wanted to help her sister live or not. Lot's going on. Bad business all around. Creed himself is originally from The Phantom MC in Kansas city. He was forced to quite by his brother and father to attend college and become a lawyer. He spends his time between Queen City and Kansa City doing business with both MCs. His brother Wraith is now the prez of The Phantoms along with his enforcer Sandman who we met in the last collab who is Hayley's brother. Like I said not a standalone. Overall I was convinced of their HEA and Creed definitely isn't going to pull what he did with Livvy again. He was too broken up about it with how much it affected Sage. JB convinced me in the end.
And now I'm caught up on all of Jaime Begley's recent books. I'm probably going to go back to her very first book from 2011 though as that book talks about Mother and Fate who is introduced in The Coleman brothers books. If you're confused with this review. My apologies 🙈.
Two interconnected stories with two completely different men who stop at nothing to get their women. Sal is layed back and loyal whereas creed is morally grey and after revenge. What these two men have in common? Only their women can drive them insane and questioning everything they ever thought before.
I love that they’re both completely different in their own way for each MMC & FMC in each story. You definitely feel like you’re getting two stories but without it being repetitive.
In the first story we meet Sal & Valerie. Sal is very loyal to the family and I’ve loved him since I first read him in Sarah’s made men series. I loved how she we got to see all his computer skills we loved in the other books. And that his women can give him a run for his money with her skills. She picked the perfect FMC for Sal and I loved how it started off almost like enemies to lovers and then through in neighbors to lovers!!
Creed, creed, creed. What can I say about him? I’m going to be honest he started off strong and sucked me in. Buttttt he does something that I absolutely hate in books but because it’s Jamie begley I just knew she would turn it around and she did!! I always trust the direction she’s going and I’m glad this was no different. Sage was so sweet and I really felt for her and her shortcomings. She is the true definition of a sweetheart who deserves to be spoiled and creed did not disappoint in providing that for her.
Overall I loved this interconnected story, Jamie & Sarah did it again and I cannot wait to see what else they have in store for us readers.
There are two different stories tied into this! They have a common character in the first book the becomes the MMC in the second. Both are really good story lines that you don’t want to end and you want to know more about the characters. The characters development in for MMC is very good and they both show growth for the women they love and want to protect.
this book is actually 2 separate books, the 1st is by sarah n part of her made men series and links to all those characters, the 2nd book is jb and about creed.
just finished book 1- 42%, to start frankly I was pissed to have to read Sarah's book first, I'm here for jb books. so I was annoyed for the 1st chapter. however it's a good book. the characters are well developed, interesting and believable, the writing (which can be hit or miss for sarah) was en point, 3 stars.
but if I'd known it was going to be a 'made men' book, then i would have done a re read as i couldn't remember any of the previous characters! i dont re read Sarah's books like I do jbs. so a heads up would have been nice.
but why the fuck do we have to have Sarah's book stuffed into this one? because that's what it is book stuffing.
it's like jb is forcing sarah down our necks. what's the problem cant sarah sell her own books?
really poor jb. 1 star for that!
now onto the actual book I wanted n spent my hard earned cash on
ok book 2 creeds story
one of the things i love about jbs books is about how interconnected they all are, as well as seeing previous characters. from the other series: this book had barely any of that sadly.
infact it totally wasn't what I expected. yes it's about creed, yes the predators appear very briefly but the overall story and in particular why creed chose sage is weak.
yes he used her to get access to the records room, but the whole falling in love with her was a bit too insta love. suddenly he wants to marry her? it's bizarre.
I'd like to say I know and understand his character more, but honestly, I don't.
it would be a good read, if it wasn't part of an interconnecting series of over 30 books. because it's not advanced the predators, last riders or vip room any. it's not given us anymore insight.
I will have to read again and see what I missed because I feel like I've missed something.
3 stars for jb is poor. add in the book stuffing and I think my one click auto purchase is done and I'll wait for new releases on ku instead.
i measure all jbs books by trains book which I'd give 10 stars if i could, the quality of this book is far far below that, it honestly didn't feel like a jb book.

😜😜BOOK REVIEW😜😜 Hidden Ties is a duet (The Made Man Series by Jamie Begley and Sarah Brianne), and the storyline focuses on two couples - Salvatore and Valerie & Creed and Sage. It is the 11th book in this series, y and this is the first book I have read of this series.
The first book is the story of Salvatore (MMC) and Valerie (MFC). Salvatore and Valeria are the complete opposite however they end up together after Valerie gets arrested. Valerie is struggling and Sal is grumpy, has a wealth of family and many secrets. In addition, they are neighbors.
The second book is the story of Creed (MMC) and Kent aka Sage (MFC). Sage is struggling also. She is trying to keep everything afloat. She is trying to take care of her sister and her two nieces. Plus, she is being bullied at work…UGH. Kent is full of games.
Both stories are spicy 🌶🌶🌶, easy to read, have great supporting characters, twists and turns, secrets, suspense, humor, great chemistry and banter. They were easy reads and kept me entertained.
🖤 Secret Identity 💙Mafia Romance 🖤Office Romance 💙Forced Marriage 🖤Enemies to Lovers 💙Neighbors to Lovers 🖤Motorcycle Romance
Jamie's one of my favorite authors and for the most part I always enjoy her books. For this one I was so disappointed that Kent used Sage to get what he wanted. Who cares in the end if it justified it. My biggest pet peeve is when the male character is having sex with the female character but also has sex with other characters. He may not have been intimate with Layla but he still was with her and belittling Sage while doing it. I know he was playing a part but I draw the line with that one. I felt Sage forgave him to easily. She gave into his bullying to marry him and she never realized that he had already stopped the hit out on her life. Which was one more lie he told her to get her to marry him. As for the mafia side of the book I felt like Sal was two different people. He was feared by everyone because he could so easily look unto their past and hold it over them. With Valerie he seemed insecure and let his past still control him. Her past wasn't any better so they did have that in common. The characters in this book weren't very likeable except for maybe Sage and Valerie but even she got on my nerves.
Hidden loyalties, deadly power, and two men bound by secrets—Salvatore Lastra and Kent "Creed" Bryant.
I really enjoyed Dark Ties. Salvatore’s story captivated me the most, and I love how the _Made Men_ saga world keeps growing—seeing familiar characters and that gritty Mafia atmosphere is always entertaining. It’s great to reconnect with Lucca and Chloe, even though their appearances are brief. The second tale, Creed, was pleasant but I was less convinced—while the pacing and suspense held up, the storyline didn’t land as strongly for me. I liked Kent better in Salvatore’s arc; he’s more compelling there than in his own book. That said, this might be partly because _Creed_ is only the second book I’ve read by Jamie Begley—the first being the other duet she co-wrote with Sarah Brianne (Dark Ties)—so I’m not familiar with most of the characters from her world, aside from Beck. In sum: solid installment in _Made Men_, consistent character presence, but the duet’s second half didn’t resonate quite as deeply.
This is the 11th book in this impressive series, and this is a new duet, which focuses on two different couples who are different in every way. Creed and Sage – Sage is struggling with working two jobs to support her sister and two nieces and being bullied at work, while Creed is loyal to nobody. Salvatore and Valerie – These two are neighbors who do not like each other and are total opposites. Salvatore’s family, ties run deep, and he is grumpy with secrets, while Valarie is always up for a fun time. This is a well written easy to read story, with secrets, emotions, grumpy / sunshine, opposites attract, close proximity, redemption, suspense, intrigue, revelations, humor, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an enjoyable and unpredictable page turner. I look forward to reading more from these talented authors’ whose work I highly recommend.
This series has been one of my favorites — at least, it used to be. Like many others, it started off strong, but the more recent books haven’t quite lived up to the earlier ones.
Sarah is known for taking her time when writing, and I’ve always been fine with that because, usually, when the book finally drops, it’s worth the wait — polished, deep, and emotionally rich. But with Sal’s book, I was honestly expecting more. He’s always been such a mysterious and intriguing character throughout the series, and I truly believe he deserved more time and development.
Unfortunately, this book felt rushed — like it was trying to check boxes rather than unfold naturally. It didn’t get the space it needed to become the perfect conclusion (or continuation) of his arc. A real missed opportunity, in my opinion.
Call me biased, but I love both these authors, even though they are mother and daughter they each have their own individual style of writing. I love this duet series, it continues from the first duet, and hopefully continues on so we can find out what that prologue was all about. Kent/Creed, love this story, I've been waiting since we seen our first glimpse of him in Ice’s book, Jamie did not disappoint, she found the perfect woman for him, with some bonus content of another MC, makes a reader wonder what the future may hold. Sal, what can I say, only a fellow hacker could catch his attention and hold it, great job with these characters and as always I love the glimpse into the other characters lives, makes the anticipation for their upcoming books!!!
I absolutely loved the fact that Sarah Brianne and Jamie Begley teamed up to write Dark Ties and then followed it up with this absolute banger- Hidden Ties.
I LOVE that the mother/ daughter duo have done these collaborations because I cannot get enough of their work. Also the fact that their worlds cross over helps a lot!
I screamed when I found out Sarah was finally giving us Sal's story because I've been wanting more of him for ages! Valerie was absolutely perfect for Sal and definitely gave him a run for his money! Sal can't stand her but that changes when she gets arrested and then he's stuck with babysitting duty. That's when the heat intensifies!
The second part of the book follows Creed- the lawyer for the Predators MC. He meets Sadie who is working at the law office he's now part of. Creed is loyal to no one but himself and the Predators and he doesn't care what he needs to do to advance himself. Sadie on the other hand is working multiple jobs to support not only herself but her sister and two nieces. Insert tons of drama and Creed (Kent) making an ass of himself and needing to gain Sadie's trust back.
Absolute perfect addition to both the Made Men series and Jamie Begley's interconnected world!
So good! I love the Made Men Series. So good! I have enjoyed all of the previous novels in this series. This novel did not disappoint. This novel was a little different because it followed two different couples. I really enjoyed it and checking in with characters from the past novels. From the first couple chapters this novel sucked me in. This novel took me on such a wild ride. I loved both couples and their chemistry was intense. I loved watching how both couples interacted with each other and lowered their defenses and opened themselves up to each other. Once I started reading I didn't want to put this novel down. Buckle up it was a wild ride. I can hardly wait to see what both authors have coming next. So good!
So I started reading the book. The story of Sal and Val. I couldn’t get into the book. I did not like the FMC at all. She was very unlikable. Which I read in other reviews. So I did not finish it. But the 2nd book!! With Creed! Yesssss!!! So I love the book. The FMC was awesome. Love her little family. How she wasn’t a pushover. No matter what she stood true to herself. The only part of the book sucked was the cheating. That sucked big time!! I gave it 4 stars just because of the second book. If it was only one book and it was one I won’t have it one star. It just wasn’t good. And I was disappointed since I was waiting on Sal’s book!
This is actually my first from this author/s and I enjoyed reading the two stories.
I loved Valerie she was a hoot. She just simply didn't care what people thought, she is who she is simple. Sal, well he had me a little confused at first but then I grew to love him as well.
I also enjoyed Creed and Sage.
Both couple were different in their own way. The spice was a big plus and the suspense in the storylines were also good.
I just found it difficult to connect, the almost 3rd person point of view has always been a struggle for me while reading a book.
I just recently started reading the books by Sarah Brianne, each one is better than the last. Like her Mother (Jaime Begley), Sarah Brianne weaves a story that you just can't get enough of. Truly a pleasure to read this book the couples Sal and Valerie and Creed and Sage were so different yet similar in how deeply they loved each other and how much stronger they are together no matter what life throws at them. Loved this book! If you haven't yet read either of this authors don't hesitate, start at the beginning and you will not be disappointed!
Hard to say which book was the best! Outstanding stories!
J. Begley is truly gifted with the ability to write books that make you cars about her characters and with a flair for intertwining characters from other books. I enjoyed every page and hated for it to end. S. Brianne gets better with every book she writes so much so you look forward to the next while rereading the previous books. These ladies are exceptional authors.
enfim, capenga.

This is such an enjoyable read! I enjoyed every page! There is hidden agenda, retribution because his father was wronged, retribution because evil parents harmed family, and lots of love as the couple work toward their HEA. Highly recommend reading this one. Some old favorite characters show up from the author’s other series. It is a wonderful reading experience. Enjoy. HEA, no cliffhanger.
The first book of this duo (Salvatore) is now available as a separate book with additional material. If I known, I would have read that version.
I selected this book for Creed, but surprisingly ended up enjoying Salvatore’s story better. I plan to go back and read the rest of the Made Men series now. While I ended up liking Creed and his story, there were times in the book that it was difficult for me to like him.
So happy Sal finally got his book and got a crazy woman that is perfect for him in Valerie, she is hilarious. But I never expected all the games that Kent aka Creed was playing. When he got caught by Sage while springing his trap I was so mad but he definitely got his comeuppance by having to win Dave's full trust and heart again. Loved these two books!
Omg just loved getting back in with these two authors combo. Sal story was everything I didn't know I needed and had some much fun reading it. Creed was a brilliant build up as well.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sorry, one star because of grammar/editing. The editing in part two was horrible, I could not get into the flow of Creeds story. There are way too many grammar issues and typos. I hate being critical but editing is so important for the flow of a book.
I enjoyed reading this interesting novel that contained two different stories. The novel had surprisingly great characters and compelling relationships. I hope that these authors continue with Creed brothers and father in a future book.
Two stories: Salvatore by Sarah Brianne; and Creed by Jamie Begley.
I disliked both. These are perhaps some of the calmest mafia and MC stories, respectively, that I have ever read. I liked Dominic and Desired by Doom much more.
Pierwsza historia z Salem i Valerie masakryczna. Tak z czystej sympatii *1. Oczy bolały od czytanie tego. Druga historia to naciągane *5 🙈😏. Były momenty kiedy miałam w myślach, że autorka nie wybrnie ale dała radę. O niebo lepszy warsztat i bardziej wciągająca 💁♀️😏
