In a World of Sunrises is made up of 365 short entries (one for each day of the year) of ideas, poetry, and quotes that encourages us to pause, be present, and find meaning in our daily lives.

Wade acknowledges that we can’t prevent difficult or hurtful things from happening, but we can learn how to manage them with openness and compassion. In letting go of unnecessary pressure and being kinder to ourselves, we can take control over what isn’t helpful to us. I appreciated how the book emphasizes healing, loving kindness, and the idea that we are deserving of grace, and also adventure.

I read through multiple quotes a day in order to offer this review. Not every message will resonate with everyone, but there will be at least a few that really connect.

Overall, this book has influenced my perspective on life. I will absolutely be re-reading and using some of the quotes as mantras. For me, it’s a reminder that after we take care of ourselves (including rest), we can begin to feel the warmth of the sun again.

Thank you to Avid Reader Press / Simon & Schuster Canada and NetGalley for this arc.

I jumped for joy when I received an ARC for “In a World of Sunrises” by Cleo Wade from NetGalley. I had been waiting for this book release. “Heart Talk” and “Where to Begin”are my go-to’s for when I need a little pick me up and “In a World of Sunrises” will be added to my ‘toolbox’ now.

Similar to the works I mentioned above, Wade structures this book as a 365-day companion. Each quote/passage/blurb/mantra provides comfort from little nuggets of wisdom to short reflections: ‘Even in moments of darkness, there are still little lights all around us. Find one today’.

Her choice of words creates such a beautiful picture in the mind, ‘see a bee float from flower to flower, watch a leaf glide toward the ground, whispering, Fall is in the way’ - Day 51.

I felt true peace after completing this reading and would read it over and over as it was designed.

Five Stars all the way!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the first book of poetry that I've read in quite some time and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it.

Even though this is, in my opinion, more of a read every day book, I read it all in one sitting to get an understanding of the book to give a review. This collection of thoughts encourages readers to take a moment for ourselves and reflect on the subject of each day. Each daily blurb was relatively short, which is perfect for a daily read. For me, some of the prompts were more difficult to reflect on than others, ex Day.3 discussing the struggle to create boundaries, The prompts encouraged me to reflect on issues I normally don't think about and it was a great set of thoughts to help focus on loving yourself.

The poems are titled by day numbers (1, 2, etc.) as opposed to actual dates, so it can be started at any time throughout the year. I'm looking forward to rereading this book on a day to day basis.

Thank you to Cleo Wade, Simon & Schuster Canada and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A huge thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC of In a World of Sunrises by Cleo Wade.
As a long-time fan of Heart Talk and Where to Begin, I had high expectations for this release, and it exceeded them all. Wade structures this book as a 365-day companion, offering daily mantras and reflections that serve as a guiding light through both good and difficult times.
Her prose is as evocative as ever. On Day 51, she writes, "See a bee float from flower to flower, watch a leaf glide toward the ground, whispering, Fall is on the way." It is this level of imagery and intentionality that makes her work stand out. This book isn't just a one-time read; it’s a toolkit for resilience and mindfulness.
I felt a profound sense of peace after completing this. It is a beautiful, necessary addition to any bookshelf. Highly recommended for anyone seeking daily comfort and wisdom!

I was pleased to read an advance copy of Cleo Wade’s charming new book, In a World of Sunrises, due to be published in early April by Avid Reader Press/Simon & Schuster.

This lovely volume includes quotes, mantras, original poetry, and brief essays each designed to bring hope and joy to its readers. Best enjoyed in small bites, the book is designed to be read one-entry-per-day, and would make a lovely gift for a friend - especially if that friend could use a cheering boost.

The cover art is charming.

Thank you to NetGalley and Avid Reader Press/Simon & Schuster for providing me with an advance copy of Cleo Wade’s In a World of Sunrises in exchange for my honest review. This book will be published on April 7, 2026.

I really like the concept of this book. To have something to read every day. To be inspired or provided food for thought, really appeals to me. I am constantly on the lookout for a book just like this!

However, I just couldn't really get in to it as I would have liked. I love how each day is very short, so it only takes a short moment to read. It would make a lovely way to begin or end one's day. But, i think the author is way smarter than me, and I couldn't really relate or be drawn in to the words.

Perhaps if I had the actual book, to hold in my hands, I would have enjoyed it more (rather than on an e-reader). I am sure some people will love it but it just didn't keep me reading.

This thoughtful book of poetry and prose by author Cleo Wade is an excellent reminder that even when times feel a little bleak, there is sunshine among the clouds. From stories about hope, love, and motivation to poems about dealing with grief, despair, and anxiety, each day brings a new part of yourself to the front. The friendly tone allows you to easily take what you need and leave the rest, but for me each new day felt relevant and engaging. If you’re looking to start a daily meditative practice for the next year, or to add to your existing routine, this helpful book would be a great addition.

This is a fantastic collection of insights and thoughts and as I was reading it I thought it would be great to read a page every day and have that days quote or insight be your inspiration for a journal entry

I think Cleo Wade has a great way of talking about self love and self acceptance in a way that feels accessible to anyone as well as coming across insightful and non judgmental making you want to continue reading and help you achieve a better sense of self in all your forms

I really loved the concept of starting each day with a thought, a quote, or something meaningful to reflect on. It’s a wonderful tool that brings a sense of hope and offers gentle reminders that can genuinely help you begin the day on the right foot. While some passages resonated with me more than others, I still found the overall concept engaging and worthwhile.

Huge thank you to SS/ Netgalley for an early copy!

Poetry and thought is so personal and everyone feels and reacts to it differently. The way Cleo writes speaks to me deeply and found myself highlighting and tagging almost every page. This is truly so beautiful and I love that it can be enjoyed wholly or day by day.

I would love to see this as a calendar!

I definitely read more then a page a day. I love Cleo Wade and enjoyed the wisdom this book puts out in the world.

My only wish was that there was more poetry, less prose, even though her messages and guiding words we’re powerful regardless.

Day 15 “rich” is my favorite page.

I received an early copy of this book from the publisher (Simon and Schuster Canada) and immediately started it! I can't thank them enough for the opportunity to discover Cleo's work.

I can't tell you how many quotes and pages are highlighted as I journeyed through what I called a relevant and timely piece of work that offered encouragement, reflection, motivation, reminders and thought provoking moments that I basked in.
This was my first Cleo Wade book and definitely won't be the last one. I am excited to jump into her backlist but will be thinking of and reflecting on all the nourishment this one offered in the meantime.

In the chaos that is our world right now if you are looking for some reminders, self encouragement and care through words, this is the book for you. I assure you, you will find and even heal a piece of you the moment you start experiencing these pieces.

Loved it! An immediate favourite read for 2026 for me!

Happy Reading!

This is such a hopeful, gentle read filled with short reflections, poems, and little pieces of advice—meant to be taken one day at a time. I love books like this because it becomes less about finishing and more about how you’re feeling while you read it. There’s something so empathetic about the way it’s written, like it’s quietly meeting you wherever you are. It genuinely feels curated in a really personal way.
