A stolen life. A forbidden romance. An age-gap MM love story where desire becomes the most dangerous risk of all.
When Tommy Brooks hits rock bottom, he’s pulled into the world of Adrian Ashford—a quiet, commanding man with dangerous ties and secrets buried beneath the surface.
Tommy wants control of his life for the first time. Adrian wants to keep him close, no matter the cost. As their worlds collide, desire burns hotter than reason, and survival means learning who to trust in a world built on violence, power, and obsession. What happens when the man who always follows orders is told not to touch the one person he can’t resist?

I'm in love.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon "Home in Nevada" on KU & found the authors Instagram that led me to this very well written & amazing story.
So - while I try to sort my thoughts on this amazing book, I just start rambling.
I've read a lot of romance novels over the past few months - and I mean A. LOT.
Some were good, some bad, some DNFed & a few were amazing.
This book?
Amazing ♡
I loved every minute of it & couldn't put it down. It's sweet, it's spicy, it's captivating. It's been a while since I rooted so hard for a couple to get their HEA.
It has this kind of mafia setting - but different. They are both extremely sweet with & to each other. No mean fighting, no bad vibes in their relationship. Although Adrian is stalking Tommy, it never seems creepy or power-imbalanced. You can feel their love and devotion from the get-go.
Just - read it for yourself. You're gonna love it ❤️
The only bad vibes came from Tommy's "friends" & coworkers. And since I read this book first ( although it's the 3rd in this series) I kind of don't want to read the others because I hate the characters already a little bit for how they treat Tommy and - yeah- maybe he deserves it.... but I don't care. I already picked him as my favorite. Sue me. Just like his so called "best friend" is just a bitch. Not a friend. Friends are people who show up when you need them, even when it's inconvenient.
And- I really, really hope Darren gets a book. And soon. Please & thank you!
