Calm shores. Shadows under the surface.
One man and his dog caught in a deadly web reaching far beyond anything the island expected.

Four years ago, an ‘accidental’ death went unchallenged. It shouldn’t have.
Now more lives are gone, and the trail reveals something darker at work — something killing more than just the people caught in its path.

When a chance encounter reveals the links between the deaths, Gus Harper, Arty — his ex-special forces war dog — and an unlikely circle of allies, uncover a hidden operation that is poisoning Gozo's waters.

Behind it stands a ruthless alliance that will stop at nothing, killing anyone who stands in their way. And with the Torrino crime family from Sicily involved, the conflict enters territory none of them expected.

Gus and Arty are drawn into a deadly game where powerful enemies operate on both sides of the law. As they race to uncover proof before more lives are taken, they discover that beneath Gozo’s ancient traditions lies a modern evil with the reach to consume everything in its path.

On these sunlit shores, darkness still finds a way.

I want to thank best selling author, P T Leonard for providing me an early E-ARC of his latest release in The Gus Harper K9 Thriller, "Shadowed Land". As with the first two books, "Tide of Shadows" and "Shadows Past" I found this book unputdownable, gripping, I could not stop reading until the very end!

"Shadowed Land," builds seamlessly on the strong foundations laid by the first two novels. P T Leonard continues to deliver his signature blend of suspense and richly drawn characters, deepening the intrigue and expanding the world in exciting ways. Fans of his earlier books will appreciate the skillful progression of the story and the thoughtful development of recurring themes. This installment keeps the momentum going with a gripping narrative that’s as immersive and compelling as ever—making it a must-read!

As with the first two books in the series, I would give this more than 5 stars if I could!
Definitely a must read for thriller fans.

Every book is better than the previous one

This is book number three of a series. Gus, Arty, Marek and their friends take on the bad guys again in a completely engaging story that had me hooked from line one till the very last word.
No unbelievable gadgets or improbable plot lines, just great story telling.
Read all three in the right order but each one both builds and improves on the preceding one.
