Nicky Silver is one of my favorite contemporary playwrights, with his mix of quirky one-liners with real dramatic heft, and I think I have read everything he's ever done. This, his 2nd play for, as he puts it, 'the divine Linda Lavin', is every bit as good as 'The Lyons'.
