Fallon Ravenna leads a simple life, one without excitement—the only adventures she had ever experienced were through the stories she wrote to escape her mundane life.
But when she finds a hidden tome one day, her life quickly begins to change. With the help of her sister and best friend, they unravel the mysteries within and find themselves hurtling towards a whole new world; only to discover that everything she thought she knew about herself—is a lie.
Rising from the ashes of her destroyed identity, Fallon must face the villain of her story. But is she strong enough to save the souls of those she loves the most?
A great read, knocked over in a weekend. A few laughs, a few tears and some other emotions in between. I think it’s a standalone, but I’d be happy to see an Inkweaver 2, with more of Havoc and Fallon. Maybe a Brynne and Avina storyline?? Look forward to some more from this new author Watching and waiting
The Inkweaver by Molly Hunter is an imaginative and magical debut. I really enjoyed the unique storyline and the way the powers were brought to life. The chemistry between the characters was fun to follow and the story line genuinely surprised me!
For a debut novel, it’s such a creative and adventurous read, perfect for anyone who loves a story filled with magic, character connections and unexpected turns 🧚🏼
If you’re looking for all things Fae, adventure and spice, this book is for you! This book helped me out of my reading slump!
I loved the exploration of the characters, and learning how they interact. While I would have loved to see a bit more time with Mr Camden (or for him to appear later), the relationships between Brynne, Elodie and Fallon are solid from the beginning. They bring a lot of fun energy, and I loved seeing them explore the Fae realm together.
This book has everything I love, from moments that make me laugh out loud to ones that make me cry. Amazing work from a first time author, Molly should be incredibly proud. I can’t wait to see what comes next (hopefully Inkweaver 2????)
