Fallon Ravenna leads a simple life, one without excitement—the only adventures she had ever experienced were through the stories she wrote to escape her mundane life.

But when she finds a hidden tome one day, her life quickly begins to change. With the help of her sister and best friend, they unravel the mysteries within and find themselves hurtling towards a whole new world; only to discover that everything she thought she knew about herself—is a lie.

Molly for your first book you have out done yourself, I was hooked the minute I started reading it, truly!

I have some notes which I hope you’ll read because it’s all positive and you deserve it!

Let’s just get it out of the way, that sex scene!! Girl what the heck!! This book was a real slow burn, I’m talking they were intimate after the half way mark, but soo worth it my lord. The shadows?? Ugh give me my shadow daddy now please! Although there wasn’t much detail and it was a small scene, it was so captivating and intense!

I would of liked the scene of Elodies death to be a bit more in detail, really get to feel the emotions and settle into the sadness, and the same with the bath tub scene, although that is a very touchy subject, the panic and angst is where it’s at and it was just lacking that little bit but never the less still so emotional and breathtaking.

I am going to guess that this book was intended to be the size that it is, so those minor details and stories don’t come into play, which is understandable, I would have liked to see Fallon really learn her power and give into it a bit more, learn and grow with it, and I wish there was more of an insider of Brynn and Elodie, but that would make it more of a larger novel then a smaller one.

Now, do you know how refreshing it is to read a book where the MMC isn’t broody, dark, twisted, leant to the dark side, and the FMC not be this shallow, fragile women? Not to mention the lack of talk on his scent or the way his eyes darkened or what ever what ever, so bloody refreshing to just skip over that stuff! And have a man that doesn’t play games or lies or beats around the bush, Havoc was just straight to the point, “yep that’s my women!” Like yes!! Finally! No games, no fucking around, just meant to be. It was like drinking a glass of ice water after eating chocolate (if that makes sense lol)

Moving on, this book was out standing and I am going to recommend it to everyone I know because it truly is that good. The characters, the plot, the side characters, the enemies, the world building! Just so amazing and for a first book Molly has really out done herself. So so proud of a stranger!

A great read, knocked over in a weekend. A few laughs, a few tears and some other emotions in between. I think it’s a standalone, but I’d be happy to see an Inkweaver 2, with more of Havoc and Fallon. Maybe a Brynne and Avina storyline?? Look forward to some more from this new author Watching and waiting

Refreshing Blend of Old and New

I really hope I get the chance to read more from this author.

her writing was a beautiful blend of the old world and the new world. She mixed humor, romance and action, quite splendidly. Her male protagonist was incredibly refreshing as he was the perfect blend of dark romance, but with the kind of personality that you would actually want to fall in love with. Her main female character was multifaceted and felt relatable. The only complaint I have is that the book was not longer and that there aren’t other books in this series yet. I hope that I can see more of this world that she has built.

Oh and the spice was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️!!

Please write more books!

The Inkweaver by Molly Hunter is an imaginative and magical debut. I really enjoyed the unique storyline and the way the powers were brought to life. The chemistry between the characters was fun to follow and the story line genuinely surprised me!

For a debut novel, it’s such a creative and adventurous read, perfect for anyone who loves a story filled with magic, character connections and unexpected turns 🧚🏼

If you’re looking for all things Fae, adventure and spice, this book is for you! This book helped me out of my reading slump!

I loved the exploration of the characters, and learning how they interact. While I would have loved to see a bit more time with Mr Camden (or for him to appear later), the relationships between Brynne, Elodie and Fallon are solid from the beginning. They bring a lot of fun energy, and I loved seeing them explore the Fae realm together.

This book has everything I love, from moments that make me laugh out loud to ones that make me cry. Amazing work from a first time author, Molly should be incredibly proud. I can’t wait to see what comes next (hopefully Inkweaver 2????)
