Jay Hargrove is struggling to survive in his cabin with a beautiful view of the Appalachian Mountains, in the remote woods of Virginia. The world had ended nearly two years ago and starvation is an apex predator that remains constant in his life now. Each day brings new problems and solutions as he quickly finds the living to be just as dangerous as the dead.
I am an IT guy who found a love for writing and reading. Currently my favorite genres would be Science Fiction and Horror. The "weird and woo" is a lot of fun to read and write about. Once I started I did not want to stop. Don't hesitate to leave an honest review or reach out if you have any questions.
Okay...wow, what a ride. Jay's journey was filled with numerous surprising moments that kept me rooting for him. The writing makes you feel every bit of it. Literally. If you're into survival stories, I highly recommend this one!!
I really enjoyed that the book didn't just cover zombies non stop. It focused on the main characters survival. The characters in the book were relatable and likeable. people lived and died. I'd recommend it!
Really enjoyed this. I've been struggling to find a book that has kept me interested and wanting more after each read and this book gave me that. Highly recommend.
It was a fun read. zombies and real world scenarios mix together well when its not just a book about zombies non stop with impossible escapes. this book was much better written than some other stuff. gave me mountain man novel vibes
