Rule #1 on the Everly Fletcher Matchmaking Manifesto…Never fall for your best friend’s grumpy brother.
Everly is the matchmaking mastermind of her family, but her own love life is a bit of a flop.
Back from four years in Dublin, she’s ready for a quiet summer on Fletcher Mountain helping launch her aunt’s animal rescue center—until Conri “Wolf” Reilly shows up.
Wolf is her college roommate’s infuriating twin brother. He’s brooding, Irish, and college rugby’s resident bad boy with thighs that could crack a watermelon.
His red card reputation has trashed his rugby prospects…until a training camp in Denver comes calling. As a favor, Everly reluctantly gets Wolf a place to stay if he volunteers at the rescue center.
Now Everly’s finds herself working and living next door to the Irish tattooed grump who treats her like a nuisance—but looks at her like he could press her up against a hay bale until they forget their own names.
Wolf swore he came to America to fix his image, not fall for his sister’s best friend, but the more time he spends with Everly, the harder it is to keep his distance.
Perhaps Everly’s in her bad boy era…or maybe Fletcher Mountain might has its own matchmaking plans.
Perfect for fans of: • Grumpy x Sunshine • Small Town Romance • Irish Rugby Players • Overprotective family • Meghan Quinn and Tessa Bailey
Number 1 Amazon Bestselling author Amy Daws writes spicy love stories that take place in America, as well as across the pond. She's most known for her footy-playing Harris Brothers and writing in a tire shop waiting room. When Amy is not writing, she’s likely making charcuterie boards from her home in South Dakota where she lives with her daughter and husband.
I got to read an early copy of Everly’s story and let me just say this book is going to grab you by the heartstrings and never let you go. Brilliant Amy.
I can’t believe it’s the end of an era. It’s such a bittersweet feeling. I loved this book so much and read it over 3 days (which btw is slow for me) because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. The stories Amy Daws created for the Fletcher family is truly one of a kind. Each book takes you through a journey of love, loss, hope, joy and tears. I wouldn’t trade this book journey for anything.
I’m going to keep this review short and sweet since the book doesn’t come out until May 2026. All you need to know is this book is phenomenal. Seeing Everly grow right before our eyes and watching her come into her own was a joy to read from start to finish. This book is also hilarious. I don’t know how Amy does it, but she can always make me bust on laughing while reading her books and this one was no exception.
Lastly the addition of Conri and Cliona to our Mountain Men Matchmaker series was pure perfection. And I’m secretly hoping Cliona gets her own separate book one day. Listen I know it may not be in the cards but a girl can dream.
Big thank you to Amy Daws & Canary Street Press for allowing me to read and review Everly’s story early. You made my whole year and it felt like I got an early Christmas present when I got that notification.
I’ve been waiting for Everly’s story and Amy Daws absolutely delivered. She’s been the behind the scenes matchmaker for everyone else, so watching her finally get her own chaotic, chemistry filled love story was so satisfying.
Enter Conri “Wolf” Reilly. Irish, broody, covered in tattoos, and very much living up to his bad boy reputation. The tension between these two is immediate and constant. He acts like she’s a nuisance but looks at her like she’s his next bad decision, and honestly that dynamic never gets old.
I loved the forced proximity with the animal rescue setting. It added heart and gave us softer moments that balanced Wolf’s rough edges really well. Watching him slowly unravel around Everly was chef’s kiss. He tries so hard to stay in control and fails in the best way.
On audio, this was next level. Erin Mallon is always fantastic, but Connor Crais with an Irish accent? I was not prepared. It added so much depth to Wolf’s character and made the tension even better.
This is flirty, a little messy, full of banter, and packed with that addictive Amy Daws energy. Everly getting her bad boy era felt earned, fun, and very worth the wait.
Bad boy era by Amy Daws ARC from Harlequin Audio Release date: May 26th 2026 -the accents ❤️🔥 -his tattoos 😍 -ugh I love this woodsy small town -love the sexual tension , the back and forth banter -I feel like everly would be besties I love her -he’s so fine and chill -the YEARNING and obsession 👀 -she’s quirky and frantic but in a good way -love the protective brothers/ uncles -🔥🔥🔥 -I want to see a rugby match now -this was a fun ride Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have so many feelings about this finale to a series I absolutely devoured. I’m genuinely at the point where I need a book club for this one because there is so much to unpack.
Thanks to The Hive, I was lucky enough to receive both the eARC and ALC, which made for the perfect immersive read—and wow, was it worth it.
This was such a satisfying and long-anticipated ending. Everly has been woven so intricately through the previous books—always present, yet somehow just outside the spotlight—so finally seeing her step fully into her story and claim the happy ending she’s been quietly setting up for everyone else felt incredibly rewarding.
Amy Daws delivers her signature banter and humor here, with just the right amount of spice sprinkled in. And the spice? It actually serves the story instead of distracting from it, which I always appreciate.
While this can be read as a standalone, I’d strongly recommend reading the rest of the series first, even if those are out of order. The book does a solid job filling in past details, but the emotional depth, and especially the character motivations, hit much harder when you’ve experienced the full arc. Without that context, some of the “why” behind decisions may feel a bit thin, particularly given Everly and Wolf’s younger dynamic compared to the more mature couples in earlier books. That’s not a flaw in the writing, t’s just the nature of a series payoff.
Now let’s talk audiobook—because it was perfection. Harlequin Audio truly went all out with a multicast duet narration, and it shows. Erin Mallon, Connor Crais, Emma Wilder, and Teddy Hamilton all bring something special, creating such a rich listening experience. Teddy Hamilton is always a favorite, but it was especially nice hearing him in a supporting role while Connor Crais absolutely delivered as the primary male voice, with a delicious Irish accent that did not go unnoticed. Erin Mallon was fantastic as Everly, perfectly capturing her youthful energy without ever becoming grating. She’s one of those narrators you can listen to for hours.
I highly recommend this moderately spicy contemporary romance. The audiobook definitely takes the crown thanks to the incredible cast, but this story would be just as enjoyable in print.
No notes. What an absolutely beautiful end to this series.
Getting to read Everly’s story feels like the icing on the cake to the Mountain Men Matchmaker books. Her passion for love and family has been the staple of each book, and finally getting to see her grow into herself and accept her own happily every after was just perfect.
Wolf is just so lovely. I get why people are so obsessed with Rugby players now. I adored how he was Everly’s hype man, the way he never let her talk bad of herself, and showed her that being “too much” is never enough for him.
Also, Amy, I beg/demand for a story about Cliona – I loved her SO MUCH and I think the book world needs a story about a badass female athlete who gets a chance at true love (and revenge? please??).
Thank you to Edelweiss for providing this ARC for review.
- New adult romance - Grump x sunshine ☀️ - Irish MMC 🇮🇪 - Best friend’s brother - Sexy thigh tattoo - Dragon daddy 🦎 - Open door scenes 😘
Wow, I can’t believe this series is now completed. Bad Boy Era is a heartwarming conclusion to the Mountain Men Matchmaker series. Amy Daws has a gift for writing mental health in a way that feels real and relatable. At this point, I look forward to those emotional layers just as much as the romance.
I know Daws based the series from the Seven Brides for SevenBrothers tv show, but I got a lot of Mamma Mia vibes from this book specifically.
Bad Boy Era should be read after books 1-3 in the Mountain Men Matchmaker series due to the recurring involvement from the previous main characters. Although books 1-3 could be read in any order. Last On The List is not required to be read before Bad Boy Era, but I highly encourage everyone to read it to experience Everly’s first successful match making story.
Title: Bad Boy Era Author: Amy Daws Series: Mountain Men Matchmaker 4
What to expect: *Best friends brother *Irish Rugby player *Grumpy / Sunshine
Ending 2025 by watching rugby players. Thank you Amy Daws for the introduction to a new level of hot men playing extreme sports!
If you have not started the Mountain Men Matchmaker series by Amy Daws, add this to your TBR now!
I am so excited I got to read Everly’s story, she has been such a fun character to read in the other books and I am so happy she got her HEA! Wolf was extremely hot and so protective of Everly. I adore his relationship with Everly’s family, especially Stevie!!
Safety: No OW/OM drama, some slight jealousy. Tiny third act breakup, but neither characters would dare think about another person.
I had the ALC and ARC for this one and I absolutely loved it. Amy Daws just gets how to write chemistry, and Everly’s story was so worth the wait.
Everly being the behind-the-scenes matchmaker finally getting her own chaotic, tension-filled love story? Perfect. And Wolf… broody, Irish, tattooed, and fully committed to pretending he doesn’t want her while clearly wanting her anyway. The tension between them is immediate and constant, and that push-pull dynamic never gets old.
I especially loved the animal rescue setting. It added so much heart to the story and gave us those softer moments that balanced Wolf’s rough edges really well. Watching him slowly unravel around Everly was one of my favorite parts. He tries so hard to stay in control and fails in the best way.
The audiobook was incredible too. Erin Mallon is always amazing, but Connor Crais with the Irish accent? Swoon! I was not prepared. It added so much depth to Wolf and made the tension even better.
This one is flirty, a little messy, full of banter, and completely addictive. Everly stepping into her “bad boy era” felt earned, fun, and honestly just so satisfying to read.
This book is so cringe - and not in a good way. It was honestly painful to get through.
2 stars for the things I liked; - Rugby the bearded dragon - A 6 foot tall FMC - Everly and Cliona and their friendship - the audiobook narrators did a good job
Those are two generous stars because the list of things I don't like is muuuuch longer.
Read this book if you like: - Men with anger issues who say they're "working on themselves" but don't - Women who take more responsibility for fixing a man's issue than he does and a man who treats her terribly in return - The anger issue rebranded as "protectiveness" so apparently it's hot now - An MMC whose entire personality is grumpy broody guy who can't carry a conversation - The outdated trope of a man liking a woman so much that he's mean to her "for her own good" - An FMC who has very limited sexual experience and doesn't ever self-pleasure all so that the MMC can do sex miracles. Personally, I'm tired of these tropes.
This was the one I was waiting for. We’ve watched Everly grow up from meddling in her dad’s love life to matchmaking her three mountain men uncles to their happy endings. Now she’s grown, graduating university and ready for her own grump with a heart of gold.
Amy Daws puts so much humour and heart into her characters that they truly feel like old friends. Her female characters don’t have to be a size small to be sexy and confident and her male characters can be strong and also soft. Toxic behaviour is called out and other than some over protective relatives, the relationships tend to be healthy and built on trust.
Conri’s relationship with his twin sister and his past of being bullied made him more than just a hot athlete and instead turned him into a protector. Does that excuse some light stalking? No, but in fiction we can appreciate his intentions and the fact that he came clean about it without having to. When we get to see him open up as a “dragon daddy” and as “nana” to a toddler, we really see his past melting away and Conri finds his smile and his purpose on Fletcher Mountain.
I like that our bubbly, sparkly Everly struggled at school. She uses it to find lasting relationships with people she can truly trust and be weird with. Amy Daws loves to let her FMC’s freak flag fly. And then moments when Everly suddenly takes hold of her desires and becomes a vixen were extra hot and surprising. This book made me kick my feet and want to have a love like this.
4.75 First off thank you so much to the Hive for the ALC of Bad Boy Era! OMG how I loved Everly. I was so excited to finally read her book and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I loved her character growth throughout this book. Wolf was the perfect broody, grumpy, rugby playing MMC. Seeing all the uncles in this book made me so happy, and being back on the mountain was the perfect cherry on top. I adore Amy Daws and all of the characters she has created in this series, I am so excited to see what she does next!!
I feel so incredibly lucky that Amy Daws gifted me an early look at Bad Boy Era, the fourth book in the Mountain Men Matchmaker series and wow, this one completely stole my heart.
I’ve loved this series from the start, but I have to say… this might be my favorite yet. Everly and Conri’s story is full of heart, vulnerability, and the kind of emotional depth that pulls you in and doesn’t let go. Their journey felt real, tender, and so easy to fall into.
And the Fletcher family? Absolute perfection. From Grandma down to baby Levi, every character adds something special, but Stevie truly shines in this one. She had me laughing out loud more than once and easily became a standout for me.
This is a story I’ll be recommending again and again. I already know it’s going to capture so many hearts when it releases on May 26th, and I can’t wait for everyone else to experience the magic I felt while reading it.
Amy Daws’ "Bad Boy Era," the fourth installment in the "Mountain Men Matchmaker" series, is a forced-proximity romance between a rugby player seeking to redeem his image and his twin sister’s perky best friend.
Twenty-two-year-old Everly Fletcher has been obsessed with love ever since she successfully matched her father with Cozy in Last On the List Since then, she’s played matchmaker for her three uncles, helping each of them find their happily-ever-afters. Everly lives by her carefully crafted manifesto on love, yet somehow has never found it for herself, despite a two-year relationship with Hilow before leaving for Dublin.
✓ A first date should feel like a fan-made edit of your favorite rom-com. ✓ Everyone has a type ✓ Background checks are optional. Deodorant is not. Hygiene is the only love language that matters. ✓ Send a text to your date the day after ✓ I contact us everything! ✓ Find a balance between listening and sharing. ✓ Must kiss on the first day. ✓ Chemistry can be created. ✓ Make plans to see each other again before the end of the day. ✓ DTR. Define the Relationship. Bonus Rule: Never under any circumstances fall for your best friends, grumpy brother with a sexy thigh tattoo.
Conri “Wolf” Reilly, a six-foot-five rugby player, has struggled with anger issues stemming from years of bullying. Encouraged by his twin sister Cliona, he channeled that anger into rugby, where both siblings excel. However, when Cliona’s ex-boyfriend provokes him during a match, Conri retaliates with a punch, earning a red card that costs Trinity the game, and their shot at the playoffs. In an effort to repair his reputation, the Denver Grizzlies offer him a conditional opportunity: spend the summer working for a nonprofit and attend anger management classes.
That requirement lands Conri at Mount Millie Rescue Center, where he takes on the less glamorous tasks of animal care and lives in a small space above the barn. The complication? Everly is right there, working alongside him during the day and living just up the hill, firmly off-limits. Conri sees her as privileged and naïve to the risks around her, while Everly remains committed to her rule of defining relationships (DTR). Still, their growing attraction challenges both of their boundaries, forcing them to consider whether some rules are meant to be broken, and what that might mean for their futures.
Daws’ novel is not a standalone and is best read after the first three books in the “Mountain Man Matchmaker” series to fully appreciate Everly’s character and her family dynamics. The grumpy/sunshine trope is executed well, and the flirtatious banter between the leads is a highlight, along with the strong supporting cast. However, the story begins to feel overly long toward the end, and the pacing suffers as a result. The third-act breakup, in particular, feels frustrating and somewhat immature, even for characters in their early twenties. Still, fans of the series will likely enjoy the continuation of Everly’s story, and may appreciate the bonus chapter available on the author’s website Bonus Chapter
OMG Ugh such a great way to end the series. I feel like we have gotten to see Everly grow up since we met her in the Wait with me series to all of her uncles books. It was like a full circle parent moment and I was feeling all the emotions for her. This book had me kicking my little feet cracking up and it had me crying. Amy Daws I am sad to see this series end but it was the perfect way to go out!
Thank you NetGalley & Harlequin Trade Publishing for the ARC.
Grumpy x Sunshine Small Town Romance Best friend's brother Neighbors Over protective family Rugby player MMC Matchmaker FMC Dual POV - 1st person
Duet Multicast narration - Connor Crais, Erin Mallon, Teddy Hamilton, Emma Wilder OMG this group of narrators is a fantastic line up. They were all fabulous.
Book #4 Mountain Men Matchmaker series
We finally get Everly's love story and this girl deserves her HEA, she finds it with her best friend's brother a hot irish rugby player. This book had me laughing within the first few minutes. Everly is one of the most relatable characters I have ever read. She is so sweet and loving but doubts her ability to find love for herself. Conri is a tall grumpy rugby player that is rough on the outside but oh so sweet on the inside. The way he takes care of Everly and even has a soft spot for Stevie Everly's young cousin.
Living on Fletcher mountain is such a experience for Conri. Having "family" that show up for each other and are so supportive is new for him. Everly is so adorable. I just love her, and these two together was perfection! I can not stress enough how much I loved this book. I already want to listen/read it again!
Amy Daws has a way of writing such heartwarming and funny stories. She adds in the spice at the right moment where it just fits the storyline and doesn't feel rushed or like its a main plot. Connor Crais and his accents was just so perfect. Each narrator did such an amazing job bringing this book to life. Hats off to Connor, Erin, Teddy, & Emma for a job well done!
This felt like such a gift. The Mountain Men series was the first thing that made me fall in love with Amy Daws’s writing, so getting Everly’s story as the finale felt really special. I have loved this world for so long, and this book gave me exactly what I wanted. Everly still felt so completely herself, just older, stronger, and figuring out who she is now, and I loved getting to watch her finally have her turn. 💛✨
Everly and Conri absolutely worked for me. They had that soft grumpy/sunshine energy, but also something deeper because they really saw each other in ways no one else did. I loved how much healing and growth was built into their story, and Conri’s journey with rugby, found family, and learning where he belonged made him such a strong match for her. And then all the little things that make these books so lovable were still here too: the animals, the family chaos, the humor, Stevie being hilarious, and that sense that this world is messy and ridiculous and somehow still so full of heart. 🐾
I did feel like some of Amy Daws’s usual sharp humor was toned down a little here, but honestly, I was so happy to be back with this family that it barely mattered. This was heartfelt, funny, swoony, and such a satisfying way to close out a series that means a lot to me. Five stars, no question. 💫
Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Thank you to the Publisher and Amy for the advanced reader copy of this book!
This may just be my favorite book in the Mountain Men Matchmaker series and I think a lot of that has to do with me falling in love with Everly through the other 3 books in this series. It was a very highly anticipated read for me and it did not disappoint in any way.
Everly went away to college in Ireland and may have slightly embellished to her family how much she loved it and how many friends she had abroad. She did make one friend and platonic soulmate in her roommate Cliona. When Cliona's twin brother red cards in a big rugby match before graduation his hopes of being a profession rugby player seem over until he gets a call from an American team in Denver, CO who is willing to give him a chance. Since Everly lives near by Denver, Cliona comes up with the idea to have her twin brother, Wolf, go stay with Everly and her family while working at Everly's aunts animal rescue with Everly.
The grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, he falls first, laugh out loud hilarious rom-com had me giggling and kicking my feet from page one. I loved getting to see all of the characters I got to know and love from the other books in this series and I especially loved how they all treated Everly like the adult she is and never treated her like a little kid. It is such a healthy family dynamic and you don't always see that in books so it was really refreshing.
If you like laughing, swooning, and kicking your feet while giggling, you're gonna love this one!
I can’t believe The Mountain Men Matchmaker series is finally at an end. Coming to the conclusion of a series I’ve enjoyed so much over the years is a bittersweet feeling. I can’t imagine how Amy is feeling as she wraps up her beloved series and finally shares the story of the one who romantically set up so many of her family members with their happy endings.
I’ve enjoyed all of these books, but Addison and Luke’s story is still my favorite! I love how their story continues in Bad Boy Era. I also adore the deep love this family has for one another—it’s always shone through in every book.
Everly’s Matchmaker Manifesto is HILARIOUS, but also incredibly valid! Starting the book with her rules instantly hooked me and had me chuckling from the very beginning.
I’ve gained a newfound appreciation for rugby that goes beyond the scrum lifts I see on TikTok. The way Amy describes the sport truly helped me better understand the maneuvers I come across while scrolling. I’ve had friends who play rugby and have always been a bit clueless about what’s happening in the game, but reading the explanations from an author I love has significantly changed my perspective.
I was a little apprehensive about reading Everly and Wolf’s story since they’re in their early twenties. I related more to her brothers and their partners since I’m closer in age to them, but Amy does such a fantastic job crafting this love story. There’s so much emotional growth between Everly and Wolf, and I loved watching their connection deepen throughout the story. This was the perfect way to end the series, as we finally see the Fletcher Mountain Matchmaker tell her story and find her happily ever after.
Thank you to NetGalley, Amy Dawes, and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the ARC of Bad Boy Era!
Ahhh the last book in this series and I really enjoyed Everly finding her match after matchmaking literally every couple In this series lol. This like the rest of the series is a small town romance where after college the fmc returns to her family ranch with the mmc who is her best friend brother and an Irish rugby player. I always enjoy grumpy sunshine and this was a fun one. I enjoyed the dynamics of the mmc being annoyed by the fmcs matchmaking shenanigans and then falling for her. I loved seeing the fmcs relationship with her family it was such good found family. The MCs are opposites attracts and come together when they are basically living in such close proximity. I liked seeing the relationship grown and the tension and chemistry between them. I thought it was realistic that for someone like the fmc that loves love had trouble with relationships and finding love. I felt bad for her because she was feeling bad for herself and was happy to see her find love. Overall a good conclusion to the story. Thanks to HTP for this arc for an honest review.
Read if you like: -Grumpy Sunshine -New adult romance - Irish Rugby player mmc -Opposites attracts - Found family -Best friends brother
Amy Daws can be hit or miss for me. But this book is 100% a HIT! Since the beginning I have been waiting for Everly’s book. Since she has been playing matchmaker to her whole family I had such high hopes for this book. Amy Daws met it. And of course while we started when she was overseas in school we had to come back to the mountain! It would not be the same without the enitre family there. I loved Wolf (Conri) and the trope of the sisters best friend. Was great. And that it was his twin sister. Throw in some rugby. I was sat the whole time. It makes me so sad that this is over now. I really enjoyed the Fletcher family and I am so happy that out of all of them Everly book is the end. (I do hope that we do get a Cliona book…that way I get to see some of my favorite characters) The audio is a duet style with the fantastic cast you have come to know and love for this series. This is the way to consume this book! The Irish accent for Conri was just fantastic and the pacing was great so I could understand what was being said at higher rates of speed. Highly reccomend! Thank you to HTP for the complimetnary copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Yep, that is 6 stars and I stand by that. Mountain Men Matchmacker is easily one of my favorite contemporary romance series, and Everly had my heart from book 1. She is so innocent and baby girl coded…until she’s not 🔥 Double D (dragon daddy) Conri was the prefect balance of grumpy and vulnerable.
Amy Daws seriously laced this book with some good good, she was really in her bag with this one. The assumptions we make about people can not only be wrong, but harmful. Perceptions aren’t often reality. I was so emotional over these two bobble head IDGITS uncovering each others soft spots. Embarrassment is an under explored emotion, get out there and make a fool of yourself. Be cringe, not cool 🫶🏼
Not me, obsessively refreshing Net Galley to see if I get blessed with ALC. I paused my eyeball reading mid-way through, but alas I HAD to finish her, these babies were imprinted on my soul and I had to know who their story ended. Thank you so much to Harlequin Trade Publishing for the ARC, it was a delight!
Thank you to NetGalley, Harlequin Audio and Amy Daws for an ALC of this book!
This series is so cute! It feels very similar to the Piper Rayne and Meghan Quinn series! This book is full of cute banter, an overprotective family, grumpy x sunshine, and a small town romance! I loved getting to see each of these characters get together throughout this 4 book series and this book was no exception! Everly and Wolf’s story was saved for last and I really enjoyed it! Such a cute way to end the series. I love that Everly was a perfect matchmaker for everyone but herself. It added a layer of yearning and slow burn that was perfect for our main characters.
This audiobook definitely added so much to this story. Erin Mallon, Connor Crais, Emma Wilder, and Teddy Hamilton were perfect narrators and kept me intrigued in this story. They really made the characters jump from the page with the different accents and the range they showed with each character!
Thank you NetGalley and Harper Collin’s for the ARC!
This was my favorite book in this series. I’m very happy that Everly finally got her HEA. You can tell research went into this book because it wasn’t just surface level and I enjoyed learning about rugby because I don’t read a lot of rugby books.
I loved her relationship with her uncles in the previous books but coming full circle was good to see. Having them stand up for her relationship at the auction when she could t see past her nose was amazing.

Loved Everly and Conri… I am so sad this series is ending but love that Everly had her own HEA. This book was great, I loved the relationship between conri and Stevie the most. When he sad bye to her has me in tears.. ACTUAL TEARS. I love mountain men series. I don’t know which brother or Everly is my favorite. I think it is Calder TBH. I am going that there is a new series hopefully maybe a Rugby series with Fergie and company but I would love if Cliona would get her own book!!!
Thank you to Net Galley and Harlequin Audio for the ALC of this title. I was so excited to get this one on audio. I have really enjoyed all of the Mountain Men audiobooks. Everly Fletcher is the matchmaker in her family and this book is her turn. I loved the grumpy/sunshine relationship between her and Wolf. This was such a fun book and the audio really brought it to life with the Irish accents. Even though the miscommunication trope isn’t my favorite, this book did it well. 4.5 stars
Thank you to Edelweiss for the ARC! I ate this book up! Delicious story of desire, discovery, and acceptance! Everly deserves love and her own happily ever after. But not only her, Conri had my bleeding heart before I knew it! • • • • Amy Daws, girl, you’ve done it again! And as a reptilian lover and keeper of a bearded dragon, thank you for including us reptile parents!! I have never fed Lancelot freeze dried crickets. But okie dokies 💜
Everly puts so much on herself but she deserves peace for herself, not just for everyone else. But she also needed someone to have her back in ways you don’t expect for a contemporary romance. Thank you for tasteful stalking 😜 And I loved that extra flavor in her story. Conri…. Omg that man was delicious! And the perfect heartthrob for sweet little Stevie! And her calling him Nana was so funny and I’m glad she stuck to her guns about him and being around him. I’m sad to see the story end. I want more of the Fletchers, but I understand that some amazing things must all come to an end. I look forward to the extra content of their wedding 💜💚💜💚💜💚
