Through it all, Cate was there, her former mother-in-law, sharp-witted, strong in a storm, the one person who never judged her.

Somewhere between late-night phone calls and too many cups of tea at Cate’s kitchen table, the lines blurred.

A kiss changes everything.

Aria knows she should walk away. Cate knows better.

Cate!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Loved her! I would have loved a book about Cate in dialogue only.. with a few naughty bits!! Sorry…not so sorry. Only thing I didn’t like was the fact that there were little to no contractions. If felt like “fake talk” at times.

Unexpectedly Good Read

Great character development, especially for a debut work. I am looking forward to future endeavors. I liked the premise of the plot, and the MCs were interesting.

Would have liked it to be a little longer. It was a good story that might have been stellar with more space to develop depth and dimension and to get the reader invested in the characters.

Aria was a bit of a pin head toward the end, but I really liked Cate. Off page passage of time was a little unbalance, and it felt like a missed opportunity to illustrate how the MCs dealing with their feelings.

Regardless, it worth reading. This writer is much better than some other folks who have like 10-20 publications. As I said, looking forward to her future efforts.
