I liked the book and thought the plot was excellent. My only negative review is that the main character, Miranda, is supposedly a werewolf, yet the only sign of her ever being a werewolf in her heart was her wanting to howl every now and again. Angelique Armae quickly brushed upon Miranda learning to shift (in one paragraph only),but other than that she was basically human/witch the entire time. I would have liked to see her discover her wolf self while falling for her mate.

A wolf with a tender heart
When it confused lady Meets a highlander Sparks fly. Fallen has been cursed for a long time. He longs for a normal life With a mate and family of his own. I found the characters to be enjoyable And Well rounded. The combination of the witches and the wolf fighting together gave this story an added twist. I enjoyed the book and will probably read more in this series.

Free at last
A millennium is a long time to wait for your mate but that's how long it's been for Callen. All that time he's been hunting the evil witch that hexed him. The woman sent to steal from Callen doesn't want to and she really wants to find a way to free herself from his grasp.

I am new to this author. Wow!! Dark Wolf was fast paced, edgy, and kept me coming back for more. I loved Miranda and Callen. He has a wounded soul. She has sass and spunk. Their chemistry scorched!! The author created a mystical world of shifters and other fantastic creatures.

A future werewolf Alpha, Callen, who has been cursed by Jarle, an evil (male) witch. Miranda doesn't know her history; she only knows that Jarle saved her life and she has to obey his commands - even those that cause harm to others. Callen and Miranda meet and their lives will never be the same.

Good story
I like tales of shape shifters and the Scots. She managed to have intrigue, magic, shifters and a wolf mate. Entertaining.

Miranda and Callen are perfect for each other. They have to just figure it out. Loved it even though it was extremely short.

Decent book
This is a complete short story. It was a pretty good shifter romance. I wish it was longer. I would recommend this book.

Great read
This book was a true fantasy with some action thrown in. "Dark Wolf" was hard to put down and I can't wait to read book 2 in the series.
