Remy Remy Remy all day!!! We love Remy!!!
Ok so ummm the FMC is described as a take no shit girl but i would argue that. If she were then i wouldn't want to reach through the book and smack her so many times and i wouldn't be yelling at her to speak up and open her mouth! Don't get me wrong, she has her moments where she speaks up and stands up for herself, but when it matters she cowers and doesn't say a word. She needs to open her eyes and see that Jude is against her at every turn and completely cut him out of her life for good.
She needs to tell the prince to go take a hike. That power hungry controlling manipulative vampire sucks. All she had to do was speak up when asked and she would have been free of him, but nooooo she kept her mouth shut and continued to let him manipulate and control her. Her 1st clue should have been the fact that he chose all her clothes for her, and then he wouldn't even let her choose her wedding dress? I cant stand Emery and i so hope he gets what he deserves by the end of the series...which is NOTHING! He is such a bad guy!
Its a good story and does end on a cliffhanger so i cant wait for the 3rd book to come out on July 22.

a Not so Surprise love triangle.
I should have seen it coming tbh. But I realllyyyy liked the writing. Not as much as the first book, but I found myself laughing, re reading snarky remarks, and I live for a sassy Gran. I’m giving this the star rating I am because even though It’s a still a great page turner, the characters weren’t more developed in this book than I expected. I’ll say The dialogue sometimes felt like I was left out of some character development. I really do hate a love triangle, and it got murky in the middle for minute there and I didn’t think I’d get through it. But no spoilers: the plot twists and turns really did keep me coming back. The freaking cliff hangers though! Blair, babe, I need book 3 like yesterday! ❤️❤️ please 🙏

Did I message the author inquiring as to how long before I will have book three in my hands? I absolutely did. These books took me straight back to the first time I watched The Vampire Diaries and fell head over heels for Stefan & Damon, and perhaps a little Elijah & Klaus. I love the court intrigue and magic. The slow burn is 🫠🫠🫠. Seriously will be checking in weekly to see how much longer before the third installment because I NEED it.

Thoroughly obsessed with this series. The fact that it's a local author for me makes it even better.
Effing vampires is a catch phrase for this series and I totally understand why.
This book we take that right back up to where we ended and book one and the story hadn't be on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Will Audrey marry Emery or will she stand up and have a say in her own fate?
Tension actually crackles in this book.
We have a fun bachelorette party followed by Emery's mother moving up the wedding date. Womp womp

This one was actually better than the first book. There's more of a magic element in this one and the relationships are established more.
Audrey figures why her magic was being weird. Emery shows his true colors. Remy is doing everything he can to just be chosen.
I'm really looking forward to book 3.

Amazing! But seriously, the cliffhanger is killing me!!!! So glad I waited until the 3rd book released before reading the second one. Blair is an amazing writer! If you like fantasy, romance, messed up, broody vampires…you will love this series. And go ahead and buy all 3. You’ll thank me later. 😊

The plot for this series continues to be fleshed out. The Bloodlines background and motives are revealed. The tease of the slow burn continues. Audrey is coming to terms with marrying Emery, but still lusts for his brother, bad boy Remington. The themes are common to fantasy, but the execution makes them feel fresh. Don't expect complete satisfaction at the end of this book, this is a series with more to come.

Great paranormal romance! Couldn’t put it down. Finished it in less than a day. I thought the pacing was perfect. Not as spicy as the first book, but plenty of angst and tension. Great cliffhanger.
