What a long journey it has been for Ruby and Brent. Their story broke my heart but it also filled with me with so much joy. It was great reading about a couple that had a love that never died, even after so many years of hurt and separation. It was wonderful

This book starts off where the last book ended. Brent and Ruby are reunited and going to fight for each other. They have learned from their hurtful past and know what they truly want, which is each other. I was really happy to see these two together again. I did feel a bit bad for them by how there seemed to be a few awkward moments between them where it was like they were strangers. Once they got their rhythm again, I found myself really enjoying their silly banter.

Ruby has always been independent, and she still very much is, I respect her for that. Although she could be a bit stubborn at times. I did like the fact that she had her cousin Cody and his wife that put her straight when she was wrong. I like that she could accept when she was wrong. I did wish she could have been a little more forthcoming at times. But then it turned out she wasn't the only one keeping secrets.

"It has always been you. Every breath, every thought, every decision, every mistake, every sketch on my skin, and everything that I am--it all comes back to you."

Brent still made me swoon like crazy. He has grown up to be an amazing and successful man in his career as a soccer player. He was a perfect blend of sexy, sweet, and playful. I loved the funny banter he shared with Ruby, it always put a smile to my face. I love how supportive he was to Ruby. I also loved the fact that he is always trying to do the right thing in any situation. But like I mentioned before, he was also keeping secrets from Ruby, as she was from him.

I have seen how much these characters have grown since they were teenagers in the first book. Now you see them as adults having to make life choices and learning from the consequences of those choices. I really loved that about this series, it had a realistic feel to it. It also had situations that you can relate to, like first love, or first heart break. This one is a second chance at love story, which I am a sucker for. I liked the pace of everything that happened. There was steam, and some angst. It made me hurt and tear up for them. That ending and epilogue was just perfect for their story. It was a wonderful ending to the series. I was so freaking happy for Ruby and Brent that I had a big smile on face. Overall, I have really enjoyed this series.

Beautiful.....

This conclusion to Ruby and Brent’s story was nothing short of amazing…. The way that Renee began their journey in the first book After Tuesday with two teens falling in love in a sweet YA book and concluded in this final installment as a contemporary adult , and very steamy, romance was brilliant. We got to see Ruby and Brent young and in love with dreams of happily ever after… and what happens when tragedy tears them apart.. Then fate bringing them right back to where they are supposed to be. Together...

I loved every single moment of this story…. when we left Ruby and Brent in book 2, the novella, they had reconnected after not seeing each other in 5 years. What tore them apart was tragic.... Coincidence, fate, right time/right place had them running in to each other. You could still feel the love they felt for one another and it was hard to believe that the couple we left in book 1 had ended up where they were in the novella. This third book in the series picks up immediately where the novella ended.. Thank you sweet baby Jesus! Ruby and Brent reconnected after 5 years apart and they both know that their love for one another never left.. never lessened.

Since he’s been gone, I’ve realized that a piece of me has always been with him. I can feel the emptiness acutely without his presence, like a dull pain that I’ve learned to live with for years is suddenly a reopened wound.

All grown up , living different lives but neither of their lives feels whole. They realize neither time or distance has diminished anything they felt for each other. But now, it's all about rebuilding their love from the ground up. Sure, the great love was still there, but it was going to take some work for them to get back to where they both need to be---in each other's arms. And that is what this story is about.

Life is full of concessions when love is in the picture---especially a true, all-encompassing love like ours. Putting us first was the only thing we could agree on, so we compromised on the rest. It's not ideal, but we aget all that we want for ourselves and for each other.

One of my very most favorite things about this book is that you never ever doubted what they felt for one another and neither of them tried to fight it. They both knew with every ounce of their being that they were "it" for each other... but in 5 years a lot can happen--- they both made mistakes, both went through times in their lives they were not proud of.. Some of these things shocked me and made me so sad...Each confession and each discovery threatens to make their reunion more difficult.. Guilt, sorrow, anger... are all there-- but STILL, you never doubt their love.

I love a good love story... but Ruby and Brent's story, to me, is an epic one. I not only highly recommend this book, I also highly recommend this entire series.... If you love those love stories that make you grin, make you sigh out loud, make you cry, make you so happy.. this series is for you .

I'm just, I don't know, where to begin here... This Story? Ruby & Brent? They are just assed out for LOVE!!!!

This book picks up right where the second one left off. There isn't a jump in time you are up to date and ready to see how Mrs. Ericson is going to weave these two together again. This is the climax, what we've all been waiting for. Do they or don't they??? They have so many hurtles and obstacles to overcome and at times it does seem as though there is no way that they can make this work. There are still several secrets between them and whether they like it or not people can change a great deal in 5 years. How do you know if the person you fell in love with when you were 18 is still in there. Through the pain and the grief the lies and the trials of life we all change, it's inevitable.

What doesn't change? Real love! True and utterly devoted LOVE! Brent stole the entire show in this book. He was so fucking swoontastic I didn't know how to handle it. If this were a different book, if this were the first book of the series it may have been too much but based off of what these two have been through and the obstacles they have to tackle it was 100% necessary. They needed to put it all out on the line to express the scariest thoughts, look rejection in the eye and do it any way. Ruby was bold and take charge, she was strong as always but when she did break GAH it just hurt my heart so very much.

The love and dedication of these two... Brent's swoon factor... Ruby's guts... this is one EPIC LOVE STORY!!! I just can't even express how much I loved this. To watch this couple go from young adult, new adult, and then most definitely ADULT, was just fantastic. I feel like I'm saying goodbye to old friends. Just amazing! It is going on my most favorite books list for sure.

Quote Love:

"Did you think about me all week?"
"Ruby..." His dimples disappear, and he concentrates on the vehicle in front of us.
"I haven't stopped thinking about you since that first day I took you on the lake when we were in high school."

"I just don't want to hurt you," he quietly says. "And that's why I trust that you won't."

"I'm going to fix you," he softly promises in my ear.

"You deserve my time,"
"My undivided attention."
"And I'm going to give it to you."

"I want a memory," I say, pushing my breasts upward toward his mouth. "Send me back with one."
"I'm going to give you one you'll never forget."

"You have my heart, Ruby." His mouth twitches. "Forever."

"Caritas patiens est. Love is patient."

I LOVED this series! Deciding Tomorrow is the final book in the These Days, three book series. I throughly enjoyed reading about Brent and Ruby and experiencing their journey. They had a lot of bad hands dealt to them in life and with youth and inexperience, they made choices that cost them a lot of heartache.

"Maybe we were too young for the kind of love we had. Maybe we needed more time to grow in order to hold it."

But, some things in life are just meant to be and some loves just can't be outdone by life and circumstance.

"Our story is nothing like those in fairy tales, but our love is, and it's the foundation of our forever."

This book had the perfect amount of angst, heat, hope, and joy. I experienced some serious heart pangs, laughed, and got so caught up that I couldn't put this book down. This series is unique in the way it is written across genres, starting in YA and ending NA/Adult. I love the writing style of this author. I have become a fan and I can't wait to read what she comes up with next. I encourage you experience this emotion-filled journey and lose yourself in Brent and Ruby, as I have. Their intense love is something some people search for their entire lives.

"My life truly began when she walked into my world, and it will end with her by my side."

"These days are the ones worth fighting for."

4 All’s Well That Ends Well Stars!
ARC received from the author for an honest review
Review also posted on Mara's Bookshelf

“Second chances only come around once, and I’m not wasting this one with you.”
“I want to try, too.”

We’ve met Brent and Ruby when they were in high school, we’ve seen them separate and find their way back to each other, and now we get to be with both of them as they re-discover the person that they loved 5 years ago and the person they are now. Let’s be with them as they fight for their love and work out their relationship.

“I love you. I never stopped, and I have a feeling I’m going to love you forever, and… I want you to know it.”

After that sneak peek from Forgotten Yesterday, I was left looking forward to the rest of Brent and Ruby’s story. How are they going to work things out? Will their love be the same or stronger than before? These two characters have grown and matured and it’s evident on how they want to handle and move forward in their second chance at love. They are more vocal about what they want and don’t want, more expressive, and I really like that although they’ve both hurt and regret the actions they did in the past, they did not hold on to the pain (hallelujah!). There’s no bitterness and anger but Renee Ericson still effectively made me feel the emotions like I am a close friend of both characters and experienced their pain with them.

When they decided to “try” to give their new relationship a go, amidst the distance, I was happy that Ruby didn’t create drama. I was even more happy that she is opening up her feelings and not bottling it in and I loved how Brent was all willing to do anything for Ruby, it was sweet and very gentlemanly.

The pain from what happened in the past was still there but now Ruby is also seeing a new future with Brent, this particular dream she’s had and the last scene in the story were my favorite parts. It’s magical and surreal and very hopeful.

Recommended to: Romance fans and second-chance romance saps like myself.
POV: First person. Female POV.
Series: Yes.
Cliffhanger: No. End of series.
Extra Comment:: Love the last chapter! <3

Special Note: I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Renee Ericson has given readers the perfect ending to an amazing trilogy! With the conclusion, I can say without reservation that it has been a memorable journey from start to finish. Once I finished the last word, I was smiling ear-to-ear and I felt totally pleased and satisfied with the outcome.

From the moment Ruby and Brent meet in high school through some very dramatic and emotionally trying times as they face family issues, college and careers, their story knocked me to my knees. Every ounce of pain these characters felt, every intimate moment shared, and the depth of their love for each other, I shared right along with them.

In the final installment, Ruby and Brent are now facing the decision of a lifetime. Will they be able to grab hold of a second chance and put the past behind them and move on to a permanent future together. The healing process is a struggle filled with lack of communication and misunderstandings that are all realistically presented. Through it all, their strong connection and unquestioned love is always palpable.

Both of these characters have stolen their way into my heart. This series fast became one of my favorites. It makes me sad to say good-bye but I'm also very excited to see what this author will release next. Whatever she writes will definitely be on my TBR list.

If you haven't read the books that make up Renee Ericson’s These Days trilogy, I highly recommend you do so.

Ruby and Brent’s story began in After Tuesday when they were a young couple in high school, and their feelings for each other blossomed into something they thought they would always have. In Forgotten Yesterday, readers learn about their college years and the events that drove them apart for four years, and the fated circumstances that brought them back together, offering them a second chance to reconnect. Deciding Tomorrow, the conclusion to their love story, gives readers hope that they can still find their way back to their first love when that’s what their hearts truly want.

When book 3 begins, Brent is still in Chicago with Ruby, and they are trying to figure out what they want from their unexpected reunion. It’s clear that the love they felt for one another is still there, waiting to be rekindled. For the past four years, Ruby and Brent have only been existing, feeling like their lives are missing something, and by finding each other again, they quickly realize it’s each other. But there are several obstacles they are going to have to work through in order to have the life together they’ve wanted since they were young, and the fact that Ruby lives in Chicago and Brent lives in Los Angeles isn’t the most significant one. Scars are hard to heal, and the pains of the past need to be cut open and soothed with forgiveness and love before any decisions can be made about tomorrow.

Ruby is definitely a heroine that readers can relate to – her life hasn’t been easy, but she continues to battle through in order to have the future she wants and deserves. Going through the trauma of losing a child and Brent around the same time destroys Ruby both physically and mentally, and it takes her quite some time to come back from her devastation, and even when she attempts to, she’s still lost, trying to find where she truly belongs. But she should have done all along that the only place she feels at home is with Brent. Letting go of the pain from the past is something that Ruby hasn’t been able to do; it’s suffocated her for far too long, and with that pain, she has lost hope, but Brent gives her a reason for living and takes her away from her agony and offers her a new beginning. Ruby’s transformation from the scared, lonely girl overwhelmed with regret to the confident, real woman who no longer holds onto her agony is a great thing to witness, and Brent is largely responsible for her newfound attitude.

Brent is the perfect match for Ruby. He gives her what she truly needs to move forward by asking for forgiveness and giving it to Ruby in return. Brent sees his future with Ruby, and he fights like hell despite the distance and Ruby’s insecurities to make sure she knows that she’s his forever. Brent has turned into a confident and charming man who knows how to bring on the sweet and then turn on the sexy to give Ruby anything she desires. Brent’s made mistakes, and there’s still a couple of bumps in the road to get weather, but he’s not letting Ruby send him away this time; he’s here to stay, and he makes her understand that with every text, every touch, and every comforting word.

I’ve been waiting to find out how Ruby and Brent’s story ends since I read the last line of Forgotten Yesterday. They’re the kind of couple that readers root for to get their happily ever after because they have been a part of each other’s lives since they were young and have had to endure so much both together and apart. Renee Ericson gives readers the ending the couple deserves and the fitting send off is written beautifully. I would have liked a bit more from Brent’s perspective, but it makes sense that Ruby’s voice dominates because she actually has more to get through and adjust to than him. Ruby and Brent’s love story is one that romance readers don’t want to miss because it realistically shows the kind of situations couples face with a relationship that starts as young as theirs did. The complications as well as the sweet and steamy moments Ruby and Brent experience all lead them to their tomorrow, which is right where they belong.

I loved this part even more than Forgotten Yesterday. I read this book as a part of Forgotten Tomorrow.

My review of Forgotten Tomorrow:
4.5 -- “I am lost and I am found.” -- stars

More Than Water is one of my favorite books and I have been wanting to read other books by this author. Forgotten Tomorrow is different than More Than Water, but still so good! Loved it. This book is more emotional. This book is about finding love again and being happy again. It’s about being lost and being found. A great second chance story.

Ruby and Brent are in love and they are ready to start college together. Five years later, Ruby is still a college student and a waitress. Brent is a professional soccer player. One day, he is a customer at the restaurant where Ruby works. They haven’t seen or heard each other for five years. Something caused them to break up, but the love never went away. The next day, Brent is again a customer at the restaurant and he wants to talk to Ruby. He asks her out to catch up.

It’s a little awkward between Ruby and Brent at first when they go out. They don’t know what to say or how to act. But the conversation flows easily after a while and they start to relax. Brent wants to see Ruby again before he has to go back to LA, the other side of the country. Ruby wants to see him too, but she knows that will only make saying goodbye harder. Their goodbye is difficult, but things are different now than they were five years ago.

I haven’t read After Tuesday (book 1) yet, but I didn’t have the feeling I missed something of their past. The author made it clear in the beginning that they are in love and need each other to feel whole. Also the flashbacks proof that they loved each other very much. When they meet again, it’s clear that their story isn’t finished yet. Their break up was painful, but the love is still there between them and they missed each other. They grow fast closer to each other again.

Ruby is strong, caring and sassy. She works and studies a lot. What happened years ago, only changed her a little bit. She was a wreck then, but she found the ability to move on. She has a plan now. Her world changes again when Brent comes back in her life. She has never forgotten him and still loves him. She’s afraid to get hurt again, but she wants to try because he makes her feel again.

Brent is strong, loving, caring, loyal and determined. He was also a wreck years ago and tried to forget Ruby, but that didn’t work. He regrets leaving her. He missed her a lot and wanted to be with her. He didn’t think he would ever see her again, but fate brought them back together and Brent doesn’t want to let her go ever again. When he’s with Ruby, he’s happy again. He loves soccer and he’s amazing at it, but it doesn’t make him happy like Ruby.

In the first part of the book, their past is revealed through flash blacks. I had an idea what caused their break up, but I didn’t get it totally right. Their past made it very emotional sometimes. My heart broke sometimes. The author’s writing was so beautiful then and it intensified the emotion. This book made me feel. Brent mended my heart every time again. Brent is a fighter and wants to do anything to be with Ruby. His love for her was very beautiful. Ruby is more scared than Brent, but I did understand every worry. Fate may have brought them back together, but it won’t be easy to get to their happily ever after.

The secondary characters are also amazing. Cody is Ruby’s nephew. Cody could be stubborn sometimes, but he only wants the best for Ruby. He was there for her when things were bad, so he does everything he can so she doesn’t get hurt again. Mara is the best friend of Ruby and was also a friend of Brent. Mara didn’t like Brent when he left and she was there to comfort Ruby. She also only wants the best for Ruby.

In DECIDING TOMORROW Ruby and Brent finally get their happily ever after. It is a wonderful and heartfelt conclusion to Renee Ericson’s These Days series. I cannot express how much I anticipated for this book to finally being released, and it was well worth the wait! Even thinking about it brings a smile to my face, along with damp eyes of happiness all over again… Epic!

We first met Ruby and Brent as teenagers, slowly falling for one another, experiencing young and innocent first love with all their hopes and dreams of a happily ever after. And then a tragedy strikes, tearing them apart. It takes several long and lonely years for them to find each other again.

All grown up now, they live different lives, but never feel entirely complete. When fate brings them back together after five years in book #1.5 FORGOTTEN YESTERDAY, you can still feel their love for one another radiating. It was always there. Even after years and miles and miles apart it never wavered, never faltered.

Fortunately this book directly begins where the novella ended: With Ruby and Brent deciding on taking a leap of faith and not wasting the precious second chance they were given. The healing process is not an easy one, spiked with struggles and misunderstandings along the way.

Can they finally overcome their past, rebuild their love and build a future back together?
Because one thing is for certain: Only together they can find happiness, two soul mates only together being whole.

A story of deep and pure love, but also a story about loss and forgiveness. Beautiful and sweet. Raw and emotional. A one-of-a-kind series, molting from sweet YA to steamy NA!
It feels real – with characters that are easily to connect with. You can feel their love, their passion, their pain and their happiness. Brent and Ruby are one of the very few couples that really stole my heart and won’t let it go for a long time.

So, whatever it is that Renee is going to release next – I know I will be reading it!
If you haven’t started with this series yet, I highly recommend doing it!

[Oh, one personal side note. With Germany winning the world soccer cup a month ago and me being German, I really had to giggle reading about Brent’s soccer games!!]

To read this book, you have to read the first two books in this series (AFTER TUESDAY, FORGOTTEN YESTERDAY).

A lot of you readers who may have read this book, may consider it the perfect ending for the series, but I didn't. I had my hopes up in the sky after FORGOTTEN YESTERDAY, which was a perfect book. I wanted and needed this book to be perfect, to make the perfect ending for this series, but my hopes were crashed in this book.

Don't get me wrong, the book wasn't bad, but it wasn't perfect, it was okay, It definitely had its moments. But most of the book was predictable, I could predict what was going to happen in the next chapter, or in the end.

Ruby and Brent starts this book with trying to make their relationship happens, though they live in different states, but I loved their strong will to make it work. They visit each other, but still not enough. I won't write about the plot of the book, because it didn't effect me that much, but I will write about what affected me the most.

The most admirable thing in this book, is that the author managed to change the characters voices from young adult to new adult to adult perfectly. I respected her writing skills so much. Also I loved how she managed to get Cody back in this book in a such perfect way. I fell in love with Cody so much. I also enjoyed Brent's character in this book the most, he was the perfect boyfriend, the one that every girl would swoon on to get in real life. Ruby's character was the same, I didn't feel any difference from any other book, it is like she is the same girl we met when she was seventeen, of course she grew up, but not like Brent did.

The best this in this book is the epilogue, it was perfect ending to the book. I might not have enjoyed the book that much, but the epilogue is what I've enjoyed. It made my heart swell from happiness.

I hope you read this series and enjoy it.

Relationships reunited, forgiveness given, memories made and memories remembered.

I want to thank Renee!! I have waited a while for this book, the ending to Brent and Ruby. She left me feeling complete it been a while since I felt complete with a book. I re read the whole series and with each book I have grown with Ruby and Brent. Not only did she give us a happily ever after but I read what happened after the HEA. She left me emotional, annoyed at time, heart broken and she gave me a glimpse into there time apart.

In Ruby and Brent final chapter were on edge from Book 2 were they have found each other again. In this book we see if the decide to move forward hoping to make it work while the work thru there past and live hundred miles apart.

" It has always been you. Every breath, every thought, every decision, every mistake, every sketch on my skin, and everything that I am-it all comes back to you."- Brent

" His body is my home. His soul is where I reside. And his lips are the doorway to it all."- Ruby

You want Ruby to come out on top and have everything she wants but at time you feel like it might just not work. But I think Brent should be one of the best all time book boyfriend and everyone should read their story. At every turn he felt guilt about the past and he pushed to make it work. He willing to give up every thing he has worked for, everything Ruby pushed him to have and in the end it doesn't matter all that matters is her.

In their final chapter we get the complete story, we get to see them happy after almost 4 years but will it be there forever.

" These days are the ones worth fighting for."- Ruby
" I told you." Brent voices cradles my soul . " You told me what?" " That I would always come for you." I close my eyes. " How do you know where to find me?" " Finding you is easy." His lips graze the shell of my ear. " Because that's where I find me."-Brent

I cant tell you how this book has left me complete I got their whole story and made my heart whole for them.

There are characters that as a reader you connect with, they become friends and their story is more real than others. Brent and Ruby are one of those couples for me. In After Tuesday we meet them as teens, intense first love that they are both swept up in. A true coming of age story that bridges YA to NA. In Deciding Yesterday my heart was broken. The pain and fear as well as the love was so genuine, how would they ever begin to heal?Yet RE gave us a bright spot of hope as she ended book two. As we know nothing ever worth having is easy, so the roller coaster that is Brent and Ruby continues.
For me the first two books were Ruby’s. DT is definitely where Brent shines. Not only do we get the rest of his story, but seeing the way he is with Ruby, how he is her friend, lover and works so hard to build a strong foundation- never assuming that everything will go back to the way it was is fantastic. He’s far from perfect. But he is all in. And while he puts his heart back together and moves forward he is there to help Ruby heal and grow as well.
It was a good place/time to end their story. I started crying as I read Brent’s last lines…and cheered out loud once Ruby decided to really move forward and LIVE.
it has a great flow. Love the banter, the friendship they have, their intense love and passion . Absolutely thrilled with their HEA and the journey from After Tuesday to the end of Deciding Tomorrow was epic. Honest, raw, beautiful and just amazing. A heart wrenching story of love, loss, redemption, forgiveness and ultimately healing. This series is a must read.

One of my very favorite lines-
“It has always been you. Every breath, every thought, every decision, every mistake, every sketch on my skin, and everything that I am—it all comes back to you.” Brent

I LOVED this book!

After first meeting Ruby and Brent in high school, in After Tuesday, then getting a glimpse of everything they went through, together and alone, in Forgotten Yesterday, I feel like Deciding Tomorrow takes us completely full circle.

This story starts off about a week or so after Forgotten Yesterday ends. Ruby and Brent, having found each other again, and realizing that they are still very much in love with each other, have decided to attempt a relationship, one more time.

I think one of my favorite things about this book, is that you can really tell how much the characters have matured and changed since the first book.

After Tuesday is a coming of age story about two people (kids really) who, while trying to find themselves, discovered something they needed in each other.

Forgotten Yesterday is about two people who were deeply in love with each other, but still too young to really know how to deal with such intense feelings.

Deciding Tomorrow is a second chance romance about two people who have loved and lost and dealt with more pain than anyone should, and yet through everything still somehow found their way back to each other.

I really felt for both Ruby and Brent. They both made mistakes, and they both blamed themselves for things that were out of their control. I couldn’t help but root for them both to find what they were looking for, and make things work so that they could finally get their happy ending.

Deciding Tomorrow is an epic end to an awesome trilogy. I definitely recommend this series to anyone who believes in love and fate and second chances.

When you love a series it's just so hard to let go of the characters. You just don't want the story to end. But somehow everything has its ending and you just have to be happy that they are in their happy place.

Deciding Tomorrow is the conclusion to Brent and Ruby's story. The story started where the 2nd book ended. It's basically the story of what they will do and how they will choose to continue their life together. There were a few secrets revealed that we also didn't know from the 2nd book and it became the challenge for them. Will they accept it and move on together or let the past rule and be apart forever ?

Honestly I got pissed off with Ruby a couple of times. She was just so stubborn and stupid at times that made her so annoying but on the brighter side, it made me love Brent more than ever. He just loves Ruby that he wanted to wait for her to fulfill what she wants and just support her all the way. They obviously love each other and that's the greatest part of it. I really love a second chance story. After all that they've been through, they truly deserve that ending.

I recommend this series to those who want to witness a great love story that was tested a couple of times but still chose to be together. From teenage years to adulthood, their love story just can't be stopped.

Thank you Renee Ericson for giving me this opportunity. I really enjoyed this series and I'm looking forward for more stories from you. Hope this won't be your last series.

This is NOT a standalone, you will need to read After Tuesday and Forgotten Yesterday before jumping in with Deciding Tomorrow. If you have not read them, then you need to! The entire series and this conclusion to Brent and Ruby's story is beautiful.
Brent and Ruby make you feel. You are not just reading their words, you are feeling them. Their emotions are real, passionate and could make anyone believe in love. You almost find yourself caressing your kindle and sighing at the love dripping from the pages.

"Second chances only come around once, and I’m not wasting this one with you."
I love how their story came back together. Hope and Fate.
Hope for the future and being able to bury their past demons and then fate. Fate is what brought them back together. Reading their story you simply cannot imagine these two not finding their way back to each other. I will miss Brent and Ruby and the beautiful all-encompassing love they share.

"Omnia vincit amor et nos cedamus amori is from a poem written a long time ago by a man called Virgil. The loose translation means, love conquers all things, so we too shall yield to love."

5 ++++ STARS!!! This book is about soul mates, lost love and second chances.

This is the final chapter in a romance that started as a young love; all consuming with all the hopes and dreams that come with a love innocent, hopeful and naïve . Two souls that have touched one another so completely that is felt profoundly when they are torn apart by circumstances , choices and mind numbing heartbreak. Two souls that, once apart, feel the loss of other so deeply because apart neither are complete without the other.
Brent and Ruby's story has touched me from the very beginning. Ruby, having to deal with so much heartache so early in her young life. Brent, coming into Ruby's life when she needed him the most, he became her rock, she became his everything until the unthinkable happened and Ruby pushed Brent away. Now Ruby and Brent find each other again, after years have gone by, both unable to forget about the other and are given a second chance at a love that neither one can forget.

No matter what chapter you’re on your own life story, the tale of Ruby and Brent will capture your heart. The multilayered saga, first meeting the high school couple in After Tuesday, to Forgotten Yesterday, where their worlds spin in and out of control, and, finally, to Deciding Tomorrow, where everything will finally either come back together or fall completely apart.

Picking up where Forgotten Yesterday left off, Deciding Tomorrow brings Ruby and Brent to a major crossroad in their lives. How do you know which way to turn when your heart and head are seemingly in constant conflict? Do you walk away when choosing is too difficult, or do you follow your emotions, not wanting a life filled with regret and “what if”? As I read the final chapters, Ruby and Brent’s every past decision twisted and turned the storyline.

I received an Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) of Deciding Tomorrow, the last book in the After Tuesday trilogy, to review. I write reviews for a country music website and know many people, myself included, read them before making a purchase. With that in mind, I highly recommend the series. In Ruby and Brent’s story, no choice is without consequences. Whether you agree or disagree with them … you’ll only know once you read the trilogy. ☺

Wow!! I just absolutely love this series. Big round of applause for Renee Ericson. 5 Stars all the way. I had cheek aches from smiling through this whole book. If you have not read Books 1 and 2 then do so ASAP, so you can feel all warm and fuzzy inside like me. The character growth from book 1 to 3 was great. You really had this connection to Ruby and Brent. I have to say the epilogue had me misty in a good way. I look forward to good things to come from this author.

Ruby and Brent are perfect. It's refreshing to have a "nice" guy for a change. Book 3 starts right where we left off in book 2. After a chance run in Ruby and Brent spend a great weekend together reminiscing that spark old familiar feelings. Promising to give their relationship another try Ruby makes a trip to L.A. to visit Brent a week later and things move quickly toward togetherness. With years of hurt and secrets that separate their time apart there is bound to be some obstacles to overcome. You can't help but love Brent. He is just so likeable. Ruby grew on me big time in this book, because I was not happy with her at the end of book 1 and borderline frosty to her in book 2. I've now forgiven her and we can all now be friends in their HEA. :) Grab all three of these up and enjoy.

4.5 Stars!!!
This is the final installment in the These Days series and what an amazing end to Brent and Ruby's story. This book was truly a book about second chances and taking that leap of faith regardless of the outside forces to make yourself whole again.

I loved this story. It was real. I could feel that pain of both Ruby and Brent and the loss that their separation brought to them. I finished reading the story on the train on the way home from an author event and was left crying in my seat.

Raw, honest, relatable......all of the feelings that I found this book to be. The heart wants what the heart wants and even though the journey to get there may be filled with twists and turns along the way....each steps brings you one step closer to your destination.

If you have not had the opportunity to read this series I suggest that you head on over to Amazon, Barnes & Noble or any other retailer and get to one clicking. Ruby and Brent's story will captivate you and regardless of your age make you "feel"! Lucky for you the whole series is out now so you won't have to wait to see how their story unfolds. Looking forward to whatever Renee has coming next for us.

Deciding Tomorrow is the final installment in the These Days series. Oh how I loved this series. For me, this was the perfect ending to Brent and Ruby's story!

If you thought you loved Brent and Ruby before, this book will make you fall in love with them even more. It did for me. Ruby decides to go for the truth at no matter what costs, and will not tell Brent anything but what she really feels and thinks. Thank goodness. Far too many times most of the drama comes from not speaking your mind. Ruby and Brent have been giving a second chance at love. They are not going to throw it away. They are taking this chance seriously.

Brent is willing to do whatever it takes, including giving us his soccer career to be with Ruby ( not that she would let him). It is not all smooth sailing for. Ruby's cousin and friends are not too thrilled. Ruby was hurt before. They do not want to see her hurting like that again. Blame being young and not knowing how do deal, but both Ruby and Brent were hurt by their past actions.

This was a perfect ending to a great series. I am not giving one bit of it away, cause this series needs to be read for yourself.

Deciding Tomorrow -

As if the emotions weren't running high enough , the writing in this story really pulls you in and I could feel the words they were using to describe their emotions and moments in their interactions. It was crazy , especially because I was sitting in the grocery store parking lot unable to put it down and do my actual errands. I cannot say enough how much I was connected to Ruby and Brent. Again they are not at all innocent but yet they have such an honest innocence to them despite all their struggles. This story was their road back to one another , proving to themselves and one another that they could put in work and not run and really make the effort to have a successful relationship. It was a long road in a short amount of time. Some family making it easy and others making it hard by bringing secrets to life. In the end it could not get any better !! I loved getting a little bit of Brent's POV , OMG how much I love him !! The best book boyfriend ever , the guy really can do no wrong !! Sadly it seems their story is over , I will definitely be a fan of this author and read anything she puts out there !!

I wanted to write something of a review for this series, but it's a little fresh for me right now, especially since some things hit a little too close to home. And it is welcomed—don't get me wrong—I love when I can relate through personal experience. It's just… it would take me a while to jot down my thoughts and opinions for a review and I want to get my ratings out now so I can share the news of the upcoming 3 book compilation that is releasing in 4 days.

A beautiful ending for a beautiful series.... Brent and Ruby Captured my heart long ago and finally we get to see how thing play out for these two.

Deciding Tomorrow takes over right where Forgotten Tuesday leaves off. Brent and Ruby are separated by miles but they want to reconnect and try to see if their love is still alive. Renee Ericson really made these two come alive. You feel the instant connection with them. You take this amazing journey through high school, college and into adulthood following their trails, tribulations, heartbreak, loss, and their happiness.

This series will steal your heart leave you begging for more. I had to slow down reading because I didn't want it to end. After the last word o the last page I smiled and cried. The ending was beautiful and perfect but my heart ached a little that it was the end.

This trilogy is an absolute must read. Five plus stars all the way!!!!

Deciding Tomorrow by Renee Ericson.

I have waited for this book for what feels like a long time. Hasn't been that long really.

This story continues on Ruby and Brent's lives. The best thing is it carries right on from book two.

It's been Four years since they parted from one another, left each other heartbroken and now trying to rebuild their lives.
So is it fate that Brent happens to turn up in the bar where Ruby works.?

There are lots of emotions in this book, you are just praying things will work out.

Can two people rejoin as one?
Will life get in the way and tear them apart once again?
Or is fate finally on there side to bring them together?

I was so happy to be able to read this book before release and even happier
with the out come to bring this series to an end.

Marvellous writing and a fantastic author.

What if I say that it was ok? I wanted to love these two together. Ruby had so much potential. Brent
also had a lot of potential and he didnt live up to my ideals. I enjoyed the way they reconnect and obviously a love, whether you want it to be or not, has bloomed. Now their lives are a little more adult. Ruby's cousin is a factor in this novel too. Dealing with their issues together and then Ruby does confront some father issues.

In this day and age I dont get how you can lose touch with someone to the level that these two did. At least I would have liked a few mentions of a former friend or Ruby's cousin running into Brent or someone close to him. There was nothing. I mean he is this soccer star or semi star. I would think that if he could be recognized by a fan then maybe Ruby would have heard something.

Renee scored BIG with Deciding Tomorrow, this is by far my favorite book in the These Days series. Her writing flowed seamlessly and was the perfect final book for Brent and Ruby.

Deciding Tomorrow starts were Forgotten Yesterday left off and I was sucked in immediately. Their love story is one of sacrifice, letting go and rediscovering love again. Not every relationship is perfect and sometimes you have to learn from your mistakes to get to where you belong. Brent and Ruby's journey continues to take turns and my heart felt every detour. Every emotion they felt I felt too. I loved how they stayed true to one another and that they were honest with their feelings. It was honestly one of the most real love stories I have read. Renee couldn't have written their ending any other way. It was their perfect happily ever after! 5-fabulous stars...

5 well deserved stars!!! I've grown to love Ruby and Brent...through Renee's books we as readers have watched them grow from uncertainty in first love to uncertainty in true love.

Deciding Tomorrow is a story of real life...it has happy and it has sad but what I like the most is it REAL, something I myself could possible live. The characters are relateable and the story line is believable.

My how the HOTNESS has increased from After Tuesday (book 1 of Ruby and Brent) to DT...I was probably fanning myself at some parts of this story.

I laughed, I cried, I smiled and my heart ached from time to time while reading DT...who doesn't want to say that about a book they read? Get this one TODAY!!!

~~I received this in exchange for an honest review~~

Where do I even begin?! I can't believe that this series is over! I fell in love with Ruby and Brent. I cried with them, I felt their pain, and I felt like I have become best friends with them. This is the final book in the These Days series. Renee has ended this series perfectly!! She has tied up all the loose ends and packaged it with a big huge red ribbon!!

I was one of those readers that couldn't wait until this book came out. I waited patiently, so patiently for this release! I am so glad that I did! It was so worth the wait! I know that you will agree with me on that one! Renee did a spectacular job on this book! I am a huge fan of hers and can't wait to see what she writes next! She has a fan for life!
