Her Flowers

Rate this book
Her Flowers is a healing journey.

Sometimes those we love only truly love themselves and in return they put us through hell. That’s what Nolan done to Maya, broke her down into a million pieces in every way he could. Until it seemed as if there was nothing left. So much can happen in such a little amount of time. This story is proof of that.

Maya North never thought she would tell her story. Until she realized the importance behind doing so. Being a young author from New York City made it easy for her to do so. She had a man she thought loved her, who would do anything for her. Soon realizing who he really was, an abusive narcissist. Sometimes in life all we need is that one person in our lives to show us our worth- to give us our flowers. It’s Nolans brother Emmet who pulls her out of it.

A story about healing through a very traumatic time. I feel for the author and what she went through. I received an advanced copy in exchange for a honest review. I am glad the author got to tell her story. I feel inspired to keep writing.

The turmoil the FMC faced in this book was heartbreaking but her recovery was sweet. A great read for someone who is trying to overcome an abusive relationship or someone who has overcome such hardship. A short but nice read….honestly I feel like it could have been longer with more detail.
