This is book 2 in the Thorne brothers series

I was fortunate to have been an ARC reader for book 1, brother Linc. And now I was selected for book 2, brother Levi.
This is a story about second chances.
Levi knows Saylor and they marry in near 3 months and will have a baby after 6 months.
But after a series of surreal events, they separate from each other: Levi is in a coma and Saylor is having their baby.
They only reconnect with each other when little Halo is two years.
And Levi has to prove himself to be a better man, changed and ready to be the best husband and father.
To prove that love deserves another chance.

I loved Levi and Saylor's story! They have a chance meeting in a bar and a whirl wind romance later are married and expecting. When a threat comes to Levi about Saylor and their unborn child, Levi makes a quick decision to protect them both and tells Saylor in a very public way he wants a divorce. When the threat puts Levi in the hospital in a coma everything unravels... family turns against each other and Saylor moves away. Thinking its temporary while things calm down, in witness protection with a new "husband" and identity. Will they survive all of the lies and betrayal from all sides and the separation? You have to read to find out!!!

Levi and Saylor were married for six months and she was 4 months pregnant when someone started threatening his wife and child. He decided that making it look like their relationship was over would be the best way to get the person to come forward and at him personally. What he didn’t expect was this one action caused a chain of events that would prove to be challenging. Will Levi be able to get Saylor back as well as his little girl or will she have moved on with her life?

It’s always hard for me to write a review without giving anything away. I want to share everything I enjoy about this books, but in doing so I give you half the plot. So what I’m going to say is Amber Allee did a fantastic job in making us root at times for the non MMC. There were moments I really hoped for someone else to win. Not only did she make us want to knock Levi up the side of his head she makes us pray and hope that things work out for Saylor. I will also say this that twist in the end I would have never ever guessed. I have to say I really like that Saylor is a strong woman.

I loved this book and Levi and Saylor’s intense journey. From the very first page, it had me guessing, throwing in twists I never saw coming and pulling me deeper into the story. Secrets, threats, lies, and betrayals keep the tension high as the stakes climbed higher. Levi knows what he wants and he's willing to fight for it, but will it be enough? And what about Saylor? With not only her heart but her baby on the line, every choice could change everything.

Amber has done it again!!! Devoured this book!!! I never wanted it to end! This one picks up right where Linc ends so make sure to read that first!!! This is not an interconnected standalone. I swear every emotion in my body came out while reading Levi and Saylor’s story!! A story about second chances and fighting for what you want most is definitely one of my fave reads. Can’t wait to see what Amber comes out with next!

"You and me, baby, against the world." I expected this to be like most interconnected standalones and overlap with book one. Nope! Levi picks up right after Linc and is full of twists and turns. I ate up the constant tension and drama. Saylor and Levi fought hard for their relationship but it was such a fun ride.

Loved Levi and Saylor’s story! This was nothing short of romance, lots of twists and turns. Overcoming the hurdles life has thrown, Levi’s protectiveness over Saylor is nothing short of hot. I am a sucker for unplanned pregnancies. Do you think that Levi and Saylor have what it takes to come back together after all these hurdles?

Oh sweet Levi!
The journey he takes in finding himself is not easy by no means.
And then there is Sassy Saylor!
This woman is sweet but oh so set when her mind is made up. It was amazing getting to see her development throughout the story.
There is a lot of story with a mix of spice! But I feel that is expected with Levi and Saylor, they are just magnets

This was my favorite release from Amber! I have loved all of her books, but this one had me intrigued the entire time. I had to know how the story was going to end. I will be a lifelong fan of this author!

Levi was hard to put down...couldn't stop reading! There is spicy romance, mystery and intrigue. Amber is a fantastic story teller. Levi is a must read!

Their sunny future becomes clouded when reality comes crashing down as Levi receives threats. As they escalate to threats against Saylor and their unborn child, Levi evokes the brooding hero who embarrassingly asks for a divorce, publicly. (Yes, this is the moment I wanted to through my kindle against a wall and hug Saylor at the same time.)
