Human Medicine: The Lost Manual for Your Emotions

Rate this book
Human Medicine offers a revolutionary approach to emotional healing, grounded in years of firsthand experience and public demonstration. As a globally recognized energy healer—known from TLC's The Healer and studied in hospitals—Charlie Goldsmith presents a deeply practical guide to resolving inner conflict, anxiety, shame, and trauma through a powerful method of integration.

Human Medicine is a reimagining of what it means to heal, to feel, and to understand ourselves. Best known for his documented ability to shift pain and illness in minutes—often in full view of doctors, cameras, or live audiences—Charlie has spent decades witnessing a deeper truth about suffering and transformation. This book is the result.

In Human Medicine, Charlie invites readers into a radically different understanding of emotional health. This is not a book of techniques or motivation. It's a mirror held gently but honestly to the internal battles most of us live with—battles with addiction, anxiety, shame, compulsive behavior, chronic illness, or simply the quiet sense that we are not fully at peace. It's a book about the hidden roots of those experiences, and what becomes possible when we stop resisting ourselves and begin to look inward with curiosity, compassion, and courage.

Told with the insight of someone who has helped thousands and the openness of someone who has lived through it himself, Human Medicine challenges conventional thinking about trauma, transformation, self-improvement, and manifestation. It reminds us that healing isn't about striving for perfection or controlling how we feel—it's about seeing what's already there, beneath the noise.

Whether you're in crisis, on a spiritual path, supporting others, or simply asking deeper questions about who you are and why you feel the way you do, this book offers a rare kind of insight—one that doesn’t just change how you think, but how you live.

I found this difficult to read at times, however, if you can get yourself through the sometimes lofty language, there's a lot of good information. Why do we do things we promised ourselves we'll stop doing? What is this animal inside us that overrides any logical deed and thought?

Now here's a story that'll excite you, no matter who you are...because of this 'human factor' that's just awesome...

Charlie Goldsmith is definitely different...and his methods are controversial...yet rewarding...if you will...

This is something that you just might love...if you've got a hankering for 'believing what 'might' be possible...

Recommended for anyone that desire's life's best...;)

While this book may be useful for some readers, it was a challenging read for me. The author clearly has some knowledge and depth in the subject. However, the writing style relies heavily on complex vocabulary and dense phrasing, which often made it difficult to follow the main point. At times, sentences felt like a word salad, where I would lose track of what was being discussed before reaching the end. It reminded me of an old-school scientific paper, where the language seems designed to sound highly academic rather than accessible.

Thanks for the giveaway copy. This book clearly explains why people pass down their strong feelings about various life happenings to their children, family, students, friends and partners, and how to work on those splits within yourself to heal both your inner dialog and relationships. A quick read but endless mindset.
