4.5 stars rounded up to 5 I adore Bodie Thoene. The only critique I have of this sweet book of short series is that it's a tease that left me craving more. Easy read. Wholesome stories and characters. Interesting collection. In some ways they reminded me of James Herriot's stories.
Recommended for all ages. If it were an audiobook, you could listen with your kids without concern.
I loved all of the stories in this book! They were very sweet and uplifting! The various protagonists went through hard times or faced challenges, but the ending of each of the stories was positive, and the stories made me feel hopeful and optimistic. Another A + book from Bodie Thoene!
I love Shiloh Legacy and virtually everything else Bodie Thoene wrote. What this book did was further fleshing out her stories. It also makes me want to download and read all of it again. Nice job to the editor.
each story a little gem to grow on, each character real and reminding you of someone you love…this collection is a treasure. Thank you, Bodie, for sharing your heart - and mine!
I really wanted to like this book. Every chapter was the beginning of a different story, but nothing was in chronological order. And every chapter ended with me thinking “what? That’s the end of the story? “ I felt like every chapter was the introduction of what could be a whole entire book.
As always, Bodie knocked it out of the park. These stories were a delight to read! Reminds me of the importance of passing down my stories to the next generations.
