If I could pick a book and spend a day in it - this would be a top contender. I’m probably biased though since I’m from the midwest and relatively close to the area that’s inspired it. But that bias doesn’t take away from the love of a good corn maze and fall vibes.

I love that Mitch is the sunshine to Sarah Jo’s grumpy. His golden retriever energy even had my black cat heart swooning. These two balance each other and it’s magnetic.

Their chemistry also leads to some spicy fun. Don’t let this novella fool you, there’s plenty of spice. (And there’s still a wonderful plot.)

All in all, I was hooked and it made for a fun, relaxing read.

I want to give a shout out to Mitch! People should take notes because he definitely knows how to put the time and effort into dating & a relationship.

Trick is the third novella is the Haunted Midwest Hookups series and I say it every time but this one might be my favorite! Mitch is just perfect in every way to Sarah Jo, who deserves the world. I couldn’t love two characters more. And the spice was SPICY. I also had so much fun reading something that called back so much nostalgia to my hometown and all the things I loved to do during fall!

Trick is the third book in the series of Sage Mitchell’s short romance stories. I have to admit, although I am fond of her work I simply didn’t like the characters and made it a little hard for me to care about them getting together.

These short novellas have been fun to read. I mean who wouldn't want to get a little freaky in a corn maze. I will say this one was a little more relatable because the FMC was self cautious because of a imperfection and didn't think anyone would like her. Well that was further from the truth.

Haunted Midwest Hookups series has been a fun ride and all the books are a must read.

Loving this series! Love how the roles were reversed from what we usually see with grumpy x sunshine! I hope we get a book with all the couples.
