Rate this book
A hundred years from now, the only thing that will matter is a person's relationship with Jesus Christ. The gospel is the good news that we can have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It's the main thing. It's the reason why we do ministry. It's the reason why the church exists. It provides the hope that every child and every family needs.

What about your ministry? Is the gospel at the center of everything you do? How does that play out practically?

In Give Me Jesus , Ryan Frank and ten ministry leaders share practical advice about keeping the gospel at the center of family and children's ministry. It will change how you do ministry.

Rarely does a ministry related book come along that I completely agree with! For years I have been voicing exactly what this book is going for. It is like these guys were writing my thoughts! Children's ministry is beyond vital for any church. We are not babysitters, leaders or just church helpers. We are in the business of showing, telling, encouraging and instilling Jesus in young minds and hearts. Ryan Frank and his team of writers did a wonderful job! This book left me encouraged and excited even more for what I try to accomplish in the ministry. A must read for any Pastor, leader or volunteer.

Some parts were really helpful and informative, others familiar, and a few I disagreed with (heads up, there's an Answers in Genesis/young earth chapter).
Each chapter is written by a different author, which makes it feel disjointed but at the same time, we benefit from a variety of perspectives and experiences. I will probably keep this on my shelf to reference later, but it wasn't earth shattering. A good reminder of foundational stuff that can be overlooked after years in ministry.
