I believe that the authors do make a point in this book, and since I have been in South Asia myself for several years I understand that orality is a very important mean of communication. However, I am not convinced that the use of storytelling can be a substitute for the traditional biblical approach in sharing the good news. Some other thing that makes me concern is that the way that the author suggests for an accommodation into the postmodern reality of lack of culture, the question I have is that should we accommodate to the postmodern concept or should we challenge and transform the culture into a high-level? The other issue that I believe that is very important to think is that storytelling will not cover all the teachings of the Bible. Jesus did use parables, but he also used doctrine. The apostles did not use only storytelling, in fact, they used written form of approaching to perpetuate the Christian doctrine. I do believe that storytelling might be a good tool, but it is not enough.
