Sixteen-year-old Lottie never had a care in the world. But on New Year’s Eve, she loses her little brother Timmy in a car crash.

Every night she visits the crash site, singing songs to Timmy as if he’s still alive.

Heartbroken, haunted by memories, too scared to get in a car and unable to lay peace with her loss, Lottie is determined to find control in her life again.

By the time Lottie’s family realizes what she’s been doing to herself, she’s neck-deep into her obsession for food and weight loss.

Will her family and friends be able to get her through the pain and hurt, or is it too late for Lottie?

This sounds like an emotional, powerful story about grief, guilt, and the quiet ways pain can consume someone. Lottie’s struggle feels raw and real, and I’m curious to see how her journey unfolds. I can already tell this will be a heartbreaking but important read.
