I Dare You
I dare you to read this book and enjoy it. I dare you. Daring to Love You is the third installment in the Priestly Family Series. Lynix and Dorian knew they
were not fooling anyone. Everyone could see that they really liked one another. Lynix was from a wealthy family and Dorian was from a middle-class family. So what does that have to do with anything, well, the couple had to believe they were a match. Entering into their fake relationship wasn't really fake at all. The two always had a thing for one another. The drama with their meddling parents helped to nudge them in the right direction. The fake relationship became a real relationship once Dorian accepted that she was good enough for Lynix. I enjoyed their journey, even though I wanted to push them along faster. In the end, Lynix dared Dorian to let him love her like she deserved to be loved.

I love it when fake love turns real!
Once I opened the book, I could not put it down until I finished it (except to sleep). Let's get into it shall we? Lynix has had a crush on Dorian for years, and she has had one on him. She was afraid to follow up on her feelings based on his reputation with the ladies. He was trying to find a way to get her to take a chance on him. Risking a big fallout with his best friend and Dorian's brother if things went south, Lynix tried to keep it friendly until his desire and feelings for Dorian became too intense for him to just remain in the friendship zone. I liked how when Dorian found out what happened to Lynix in college, she went all in for who was fast becoming her man. I appreciate how she checked the person who wronged him. There are elements of this story that mirror real societal norms, such as how that other culture looks down on those they consider less than them based on money and status. I was appalled at how those of our own culture with money and influence seem to mimic that ignorant behavior. Thankfully, not all of either culture behaves in such an inhumane and condescending manner toward those their families consider less than. This book has excellent characters (even the not so nice ones), a great storyline, a look at how many people with money and influence show up in the world, the advent of people from other stories appearing and helping out, and other groups of people who refuse to behave badly towards themselves and others. I enjoyed Lynix and Dorian's story very much and was very glad when they finally admitted what all of us reading their story had already surmised. I can see this "Priestly family" novel joining the others in the "Best Sellers" Column! Great job Mrs. Cooper, a really great job indeed. I pray I have done this great novel real justice in my review.

Lynix and Dorian!!
I have been looking forward to this book because I wanted to find out why Lynix and Dorian were running through the woods ever since I read that part at the end of Book 2 of this series, and we finally got our answer. 🤣😂😂 This was a slow burn story, but it held my interest from the very beginning. Their fake relationship started off with them as just friends, but they ended up having a deep and abiding love for one another especially after they shared their secrets with one another. I loved how they had each other's backs and helped each other to become stronger. I wanted to throat punch Lynix's ex, Marisela, and Dorian's ex, Rodney, and her ex-boss, Shauna. All of them were truly awful individuals in their own way. Ms. Cooper has written another great book in this series. I can't wait to read Cree's book because I want to find out more about this mystery man.

Lynix is sexy and an alpha male while Dorian is sweet and sassy. When these two finally get together, it's savory. They started fake dating to get Dorian's mom off her back. She's a matchmaker. :-) and to stop Lynix's father from trying to marrying him off to his ex, Maricela who once tried to violate him in college.
Lynix and Dorian didn't have two many challenges except for their horrible exs and learning to trust each other, more Dorian trusting that Lynix's intentions were true and pure.
Favorite scenes
Dorian kissing Lynix in front of ex-boyfriend and former boss from her old job who were trying to pitch their Marketing services to Lynix's family company.
Lynix pulling over Dorian's date and then telling her to get of the car. Dude was driving like a lunatic and her telling her date off.
The flowers late at night and her cool a** Auntie reaction and stating-"SO you got yourself a real man."
Ultimate-Her talking to Lynix at the gala and making Marisela's antics seem like she's a stalker. "So Lynix this is woman you were telling about who can't no for answer."
So many other good scenes. This book I've re-read especially favorites already.

Each book in this series just keeps getting better and better!! Dorian’s mom, Virginia always meddled in her and her siblings love life. She was forever trying to hook them up with someone, as if they couldn’t find someone on their own. Lynix’s dad tried forcing him into an arranged marriage with Maricela. Lynix hated Maricela! Lynix and Dorian decided to “fake date” each other. Lynix was already crazy about Dorian. She would never give him a chance, because he was a known player. He was also her brother Zion’s best friend. Dorian may have been faking the relationship, but Zion wasn’t. He took this as an opportunity to win her over. After spending so much time together, Dorian couldn’t help but fall for Lynix! I am in love with this series! I can’t wait to read Cree’s story next! I’m curious about the mystery man in the store!! Thank you so much for this awesome series Mrs. Cooper!! ❤️🔥

I'm loving this series! Everyday people living their lives! I've enjoyed all the characters introduced. Each has their own personality, even Aunt GiGi.
The dare that Dorian took changed her mind of thinking and attitude towards Lynix. She saw a side that she wasn't expecting. He was ready for a real committed relationship with Dorian, and no one was gonna mess it up for him. Not even the parents!
Now, to get her meddling mom and his condescending dad to stop trying to play match-maker and poking their noses into their business. Oh, but Lynix had a plan and talked Dorian into: "Fake Dating," which actually worked for his benefit. It brought Dorian closer to how Lynix was already feeling about her. Neither anticipated messy ex's to resurface, but they did and were dealt with accordingly.
Both had pasts that they were embarrassed about. I loved the trust that they built with each other to share their hurts and support one another with no judgment and healing words of encouragement.
Lynix was gentle, caring, sensitive, determined, loyal, intentional, and protective.
Dorian was quiet, kind of passive, sweet, kind, and in the end spit-fiery and take no prisoners.
I can't wait to read Cree's story!

I am enjoying this series. This is another good one.
Secrets can destroy you. I'm glad he could confide in his brother. Dorian had her own secrets but recognizing their love for each other was healing. Great story.

It's baby sister's chance at love. She doesn't know it yet but this fake boyfriend plan of Lynix will unravel very quickly. Dorian was bold and I loved that she had Lynix back just as he had hers.

Lynix was a looker and millionaire, however he only had eyes for Dorian. Dorian was skeptical of all things Lynix but knew the gave her knocked her socks off. Lynix was trying to find a way to prove he was all Dorian needed. Dorian was sick and tired of her Mother 's antics about marrying her off. After a major problem in Lynix life, he suggested he "help" Dorian by being her fake boyfriend. Dorian shot the first shot and Lynix brought closure to their situations. Lies and deceptions are brought to light that allow these two to see how needed the other is. Fire is their super powers. Love this book and the author. The series is awesome. Can't wait to see what else in store for the Priestly family.

This is the third book in the Priestly Family series and I am enjoying every minute of it. Lynix and Dorian agreed to this fake dating relationship in the beginning but discovered very soon it was nothing fake about what they feel for each other. Lynix knows Dorian is the woman for him but she won't risk her heart because of this past play boy days.
Dorian hasn't had the best luck with relationships so she keeps her heart tight to her chest. But what she does not know is that Lynix is determined to make her his and is prepared to wait for her.
This book will have you all in your feelings especially when Dorian reveals what happened in his college freshman year. Be ready because you won't see it coming, I promise.

Faking Isn't Daring!!!
The love story of Lynix and Dorian started out with them fake dating. This was pretty boring for a story written by Sharon C. Cooper about the Priestly family. We met Lynix and Dorian both in previous books but in this book they seemed slim caricatures of themselves.
Perhaps if I didn't love Nyla's so much. Compared to her sisters, especially Cree and Nyla, Dorian is lacking the fire that her sisters have. Lynix is all of that and more but he tones it down for Dorian. It's only so much you can take of Virginia Priestly and I had my full of her. Bridget, Lynix's mother, is a sweetheart. She had Lynix back from the beginning. Too bad his father didn't.
Still, I can't wait to read Cree's book. I'm sure she and whoever her man is will bring it.

This was a cute and sweet contemporary romance. It was a bit of a slow burn even though it took place over a short period of time.
I liked Dorian and Lynix together and loved that he was able to help boost her confidence in herself and see herself as desirable as much as he did. I also liked their friendship and that they felt safe with each other to confide their secrets and traumas.
If you’re a fan of contemporary romance and like the fake dating or brothers best friend tropes, this is a good story to read. Now I’m looking forward to getting the next Priestly sibling book because I have a feeling Cree got a story to tell.

Another great addition to the Priestly family series. As usual Sharon never disappoints. Like all the others, I really liked Dorian and Lynix's story. I think Lynix and Dorian's friendship that they had before coming together as a couple helped them be able to support each other in overcoming the hurt, betrayal and trauma from their past relationships. I enjoyed the cross over characters from the Jenkins series and can't wait to find out Cree's story with the mystery man that was with Zack. I'm really looking forward to Cree's book. Of course, catching up with Zion, Raven and those adorable twins is always a bonus.

Lynix and Dorian's story is the best one in the series - - in my opinion. The fake dating relationship was well developed and one of the characters saw through it, but went along anyway. I enjoyed the characters evolving to becoming lovers, even with all of the obstacles in the way. Crazy ex-fiancee. Matchmaking mother. Ex-boyfriend who needs a life. It has a little bit of everything and I loved it. Wonderful job and looking forward to Cree's story. Her advice to everyone let's me know that we are in for a wild ride with her story. Kudos, Ms. Cooper, for an excellent story.

Another great addition to the Priestly family series. As usually Sharon never disappoints. Dorian tried to deny her feelings for Lynix but he made it impossible for her to resist him. Lynix and Dorian supported each other to overcome hurt and trauma in their previous in their past. Dorian and Lynix also helped each other with deal with overbearing parents. I loved the cameo with Jada and Zack. I enjoyed updates on Zion and Raven as well as Nyla and Harrison. I can't wait for Cree's story.

OMG, Ms Cooper has done it again. I love love love the story of Lynix and Dorian. The love of a good man and a good woman changes your life for the better. Fake dating your best friend’s sister. Everyone seeing the love except the woman he wants forever. What will it take for Dorian to see and fall for Lynix. A story you have to read and see. Read this story in about 5 hours. Brings you in and doesn’t let go until the HEA.

Priestly Family
Typical of me, I want to read the whole series before leaving a review. I, reluctantly, admit I enjoyed this Priestly Family Series. My favorite was Raven and Zion, 2nd favorite is hard to say. Dorian & Lynix was the sweetest. Nyla & Harrison was the cutest in the series. I was not expecting the "steaminess" with all three couples. Personally, I would have preferred not, however all in all, the three books were a good read.

I enjoyed reading Lynix and Dorian’s love journey. They started fake dating in Dorian’s Minton stop her mom and his dad from trying to set them up with other people but Lynix had it in his mind all along that he was really dating Dorian with the intention of making her his wife. I like how they meshed very well together bringing out the best of each other and being each other’s support system. I can’t wait to read Cree and the mystery man’s book next.

This was my least favorite of the series so far. Dorian was boring and annoying at the same time. Just lame. Lynix was just there. Again kinda lame. I guess they were made for a h other. Two lames with zero chemistry. They got together due to proximity. Just lame. And the exes could have been left out of the mix.

Great read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Dorian was Lynix best friend’s sister. Their attraction was strong, but Dorian was cautious due to Lynix’s reputation as a ladies man. They both had past baggage to overcome. This is their journey to forever love and happiness.
