But magic has a way of revealing the truth. And the Agency’s idea of “consulting” may be more lethal than unemployment.

A fun read. As Urban Fantasy goes, this is a capable example. If I compare it to an action movie, I’d put it as not quite a summer blockbuster but fun enough to make it to the lower half of top 10 summer popcorn movies.

A superb novel. Right up there with the classics!

The reluctant hero finds he is part of the problem and tag he solution.
He must walk a very thin line in order to keep his sanity and his life.

Love the start to this urban fantasy series by the master of "The Chainbreaker" series of books. Looking forward to future books.
