Jesus spoke Aramaic. He listened to Hebrew at His synagogue every week. Yet the oldest original texts of His words are in Greek, and your favorite bible is probably based upon Greek. What kinds of Aramaic phrases would he have used? Since the gospel of Mark was the earliest Gospel, some scholars suggest that it was originally recorded in Armaic.
