He has served churches in New Jersey and California and was dean of the chapel at Hope College in Michigan before going to Westmont College. There are several things that are strange about this book.
1. I thought I was reading James Patterson (book 1 of 35 Alex Cross) as it says in the header on KU This is NOT it.
2. This is a futuristic book with a robot. I have read several of the Murderbot books and enjoyed them. The first chapter and the return to base were good. The second chapter is where you lost me and I returned it and went on to get the book I was looking for.
3. The hero just delt out justice by shooting a man. I question if this was written by a Christian minister as it says in the Bio.
4. There are 3 authors mixed into this one book that someone should straighten out.

Unfortunately this is a DNF for me; I just couldn’t get into it and put it to the side.
