The food is to die for...At Blackthorn Hall, the charity gala dinner is the social event of the season. An opulent evening of candle-lit tables, vintage wine, and a menu talked about for weeks. O’Malley and Swift are there to represent the local force, but when a prominent guest vanishes before dessert is served, the celebration turns into a nightmare.
And it seems everyone has something to hide.
The ambitious charity director, the bored wine heiress, the rival caterer desperate to ruin the evening’s star chef. As a storm closes in over the Norfolk countryside and the roads become impassable, no one can leave the Hall and no one can be trusted.
Trapped alongside the suspects, O’Malley and Swift must think fast, calling their team to help from afar as the glittering façade of the gala begins to fracture. The truth lurking in the shadows of Blackthorn Hall is far more disturbing than anyone could imagine.
As another guest drops dead, can O’Malley and Swift unmask the killer hiding in plain sight before the final course is served and the last candle gutters out?
Perfect for fans of Rachel McLean, LJ Ross and Alex Smith, The Final Course delivers all the gripping twists, claustrophobic suspense, and darkly delicious chills readers love in the bestselling O’Malley & Swift thrillers.
Another excellent book by KT Galloway! I couldn’t put it down. This series is my favourite by far, and I always look forward to finding out what shenanigans O’Malley and Swift find themselves in.
This didn’t disappoint.
I loved how uneasy I felt the whole way through, and was SO glad that both O’Malley and Swift had accidentally eaten vegetarian food! Poor Noah, I cried for him and Swift (and poor Cassie). The characters were perfect, the atmosphere exactly what I look forward to in these books and as always a fantastic plot twist.
KT Galloway has perfected her writing, and her creation of beautiful characters and worlds.

This is another excellent read in the O'Malley and Swift series and one I really enjoyed. I like the characters, especially O'Malley who makes me chuckle at times! The plotting is very good, set in a country house with multiple guests all sitting down to a lavish feast. If you enjoy a nice steak, I hope you are not put off after reading this but it's an excellent mystery which gripped me from the start. The pace is fast and there is plenty of suspense with a little twist, which I am sure fans of thrillers will enjoy.
This was a gooder (they all are lol) but I loved this. I love that their relationship is still growing. This was a very intense story and I didn't see the "whodunit" until one of them slipped up which thankfully Annie caught too. I have to say I missed Tink and Page in this book but it's understandable as to why this is the case. I highly recommend starting with book one and enjoying the whole series.
I really enjoyed this book. It had a few twists and turns and a very horrible possibility which I will not spoil. I recommend reading it. It keeps your interest. made want to finish to find out what happened next.
The story was chillingly brilliant from the beginning to the end. i love all characters,it kept me on the edge of my seat. Can't wait to read next in the series!
What a perfect book to read when trapped in the house by snow and ice. Loved it, the conversations between characters is so good you forget you don’t know them personally. Storyline was good with a nice twist. Would recommend.
Another good addition to this series though it was darker in places. Nice to see the characters again even if a couple of the mains only came in right at the end.
