She was born a daughter. Chosen as heir. Then marked for death.
Kae’Dinah has always known the gods demanded sacrifice. But when her own mother—the Queen of Anima—names her the offering, everything unravels. Betrayed by blood and hunted by her people, Kae’Dinah is rescued by a stranger cloaked in Prince Amias of Ellarum, who claims Highest sent him in a dream to find her.
As Kae’Dinah flees the palace and everything she’s ever known, strange visions begin to consume her. Whispers. Fire. A voice not her own. She is no longer just a girl escaping death—she is becoming something else.
Something dangerous.
With enemies closing in and secrets rising like smoke, Kae’Dinah must confront a truth long she is the Judge foretold in sacred flame, and the world will burn before it bows.
But before she can save anyone, she must decide who she’s willing to lose.
Perfect for fans of faith-fueled fantasy, slow-burn romance, and moral reckoning, Ignited is the first book in a powerful new series about fire, betrayal, and the voice that speaks even when the world goes silent.

A well written piece of fiction with faith based undertones. Kae’Dinah’s journey of self-discovery, acceptance and truth is a powerful one. Written with beautiful imagery my only wish is that the main relationship blossomed sooner! I am looking forward to the next story in this series.
This was a solid 4/4.5 star read for me! The story was engaging, a little bit slow in some parts but an enjoyable read! The ending made me excited to continue the series (like can we get the second book out pronto please 👀) I loved the creative parallels between the characters and the Bible. I enjoyed that it wasn’t a typical cheesy book you see in a lot of Christian spaces. Overall, I’d recommend this book. For Michaella being a first time author, I was pleasantly surprised!
Thank you Michaella for letting me be apart of the ARC team and receiving a copy of this book before the release date!
This is a 4 star book for me, but that could be my own ick with romance... With Spiritual perspective, its a 5. Great gift for young readers or people going through a transformational season.
The book had a good plot and i really liked the characters but the story really suffered from lacking an editor. With tigheting of prose this work could easily be great.
