An OnlyFans model is dead. Her ex-boyfriend stands accused. Behind the paywall lies the savage truth.
At first glance, Heather Gordon's death looks like suicide. But a single clue points to something far darker—and it leads straight to her ex-boyfriend, Dwayne Fogle.
With a history of controlling behavior and jealous outbursts, even Dwayne's own mother doubts his innocence. Still, she turns to criminal defense attorney Brad Madison to give her son a fighting chance.
As Brad investigates, the case drags him into the disturbing underworld of paywall sleaze—a place where desire is monetized, secrets are traded, and predators lurk behind polished profiles. The deeper he digs, the more depraved—and dangerous—the truth becomes.
Despite death threats and public backlash, Brad refuses to walk away. And when the boundaries between law, ambition, and morality begin to collapse, he finds himself risking everything to uncover what really happened to Heather Gordon.
Savage Justice is a bold and emotionally charged legal thriller that pushes Brad Madison to his limits.
Once again, J.J. Miller delivers—blending gripping courtroom drama, razor-sharp writing, complex characters, and twists that don't let go.
Perfect for fans of John Grisham, Robert Dugoni, and James Patterson.
JJ Miller's "Force of Justice" is an Amazon bestseller (Pulp Thrillers). JJ aims to write the kind of thrillers he likes to read: ones that grab you by the collar from page one and never let go. He lives with his wife and three kids, and two cats.
J.J. Miller’s Brad Madison series of legal thrillers is a favorite of mine, and Savage Justice is another outstanding addition to the series. The story delves into dark and sinister matters, and brings them to bear on a chilling murder that initially appears to be a cut and dried instance of a murderous partner going too far, but turns out to have been something entirely different. Miller has created a complex and nuanced character in Madison, a defense lawyer who throws himself fully into every dilemma Miller plunges him into. Madison is a lawyer anyone would want—driven, creative, determined, and utterly devoted to winning his client’s freedom. As always, Miller has devised a clever plot and a worthy antagonist for Madison to go up against, weaving the tale with plenty of moral ambiguities that muddy the waters and leave the reader with ample food for thought. As I’ve come to expect from a J.J. Miller novel, the stakes are high and the writing is taut as the author takes us on a wild ride that keeps us guessing right through to an edge-of-your seat finale.
a great laidback book with entertaining plot, recommend
This author hasn’t failed me yet with this his series. Each book has a unique case. Author threw some interesting twist to distract readers. I chose the right culprit from the beginning but the way the storyline was moving, I almost changed my mind, but I stuck it out with my 1st culprit and I was right. This was not a high octane story but it was good from beginning to ending. Brad is a passionate man who believes deeply in justice and what he does in his work. He is kindhearted and believes everyone deserves a fair trial. It’s not always about the money for Brad. If he believes in you, he’s going to give it all his attention, time, and energy.
Another fast and furious read. I really enjoyed Brad‘s time with Bella and their relationship. It seems to give Brad more character as a balance to his tough attorney profile. I kept thinking the real killer in the back of my mind was exactly who it was so I won’t put a spoiler up here. I did not know what his angle was exactly and he stayed in the background of my mind as the one other potential killer seemed to be way too obvious. Hopefully that isn’t really a spoiler because there are other suspects! I enjoy the series very much and highly recommend it.
As I often do, I started this book with downloading a sample. Well, I was barely through a few sentences , and I knew I was buying this book. It definitely was a page turner filled with suspense, and I found myself holding my breath waiting for the verdict. I feel as though the author held the door open for the next book due to something that I caught was left unexplained . A few grammatical errors , but I am a spelling nerd…a result of years of being taught by nuns. Certainly did not detract from reading and enjoying this book.
This book in the series is just as good as the last. Its the story of a murder basically but its so much more twisted than that. There are a coup!e characters that move from book to book , that form the basis of the story. the story is very interesting and complex and I never know the answers until the last chapter. I'm going to keep reading the series cuz I have no doubt the next book is as good as this one was
J.J. Miller keeps you on your toes the whole book through! I have been reading the series one after the other and never been disappointed.... Now onto the next one! I love the way he entwines his family life, his daughter and his friend Jack in his stories
Brad Madison is a great character study in the contradictions of the law. His personal story and his work are a constant ebb and flow of turmoil and satisfaction. Kudos to JJ Miller for bringing him to us.
I enjoyed the legal aspects of the book along with the journey that the author took the readers. Interesting with many plots and suspects within his narrative.
Too many men who are looking for love and substituting it with cruel sex. Glad no one's child was injured. The plot kept jumbling up the different characters until they all seemed the same.
this is a tale of a teenage girl who got into trouble, became an adult, hung around with the wrong people and eventually was murdered Her ex boyfriend is on trial as the lawyer tries to Defend his Client - read & find out what happens
Another great read from J.J. Miller. This series is quite enjoyable. It has good characters, an easy-to-follow story, and enough suspense to keep you wanting to read the next chapter.
