A Little Bit Uncertain

Donovan
After years of running, this quiet town in South Carolina offers exactly what I need: anonymity and the perfect landscape to make my project come to life. If I keep my head down and everyone at arm’s length, I should find the peace I’ve been searching for.

My plan works just as I intend it to … until Audra King crashes into my world. From the moment I hear her laugh, I’m curious. When I finally lay eyes on her, I’m captivated. And when we talk, she obliterates the carefully constructed walls I swore would never fall.

Though there is an undeniable magnetism between us, she won’t act on it and I can’t seem to figure out why.

But when I learn about the chaos she’s been hiding under her dazzling smile, everything makes sense. And now her happiness—and whatever this is between us—is on the line.

Though she’s pushing me away, I won’t stop trying to convince her to let me in.

And I always get what I want.

Audra
I swore I’d never fall for another rich man. My ex made sure I left that world with scars and lessons. Now, my life is simple, safe, and mostly happy.

But when Donovan Wright, Savannah Springs’ wealthiest man, sets his sights on me, I’m thrown. His warm chocolate eyes, smooth voice, and commanding presence make it hard to breathe.

When life starts to fall apart, I end up turning toward the one person I know I should run from. The strength and unwavering support he provides leads to a free fall of feelings that I can’t control.

Donovan says he’s prepared to handle my chaos, but when things get real, will he stay or will he break the heart I was so reluctant to give?

“You ask why you and the answer is easy—you are simply the best thing that’s ever walked into my life,"

First, thank you to @kellyoreillyauthor for the ARC copy of A Little Bit Uncertain, and also Happy Release Day!!

This was such a sweet, heartbreaking, emotional read!

A Little Bit Uncertain is Book 2 of the series, and i will absolutely be going back to read book 1! I just absolutely loved the Small Town feel and the group of friends that had each others back no matter what happened.

Donovan was a wee sweetheart after everything the both of them had gone through past and present. He was so patient and understanding with Audra, and Audra just brought the best out of Donovan, and could I just say I would love to have friends like Jules, Cora, and Maeve, heck, I'd have them all haha!

Kelly O'Reilly has done a wonderful job with a little bit uncertain, and i did get to the stage in the latter half of the book of " just 1 more chapter... to the point I ended up finishing it in 1 sitting!

I'm looking forward to seeing what's next in the A Little Bit series! And if you want to grab yourself a copy, head over to amazon

I am a small town romance lover and this book is everything I love about that trope.

A Little Bit Uncertain is book two in this small town romance series set in Savannah Springs, South Carolina. This book overlaps the time line for the first book, but while it is interconnected in nature and follows the same friend group, you could jump into this one without reading book 1. (However, book 1 is totally worth the read as well!) The story follows Audra King and Donovan Wright. Their pairing is a bit unlikely if you base it on their backgrounds but as with all good romance books, the best couples are the unlikely ones. Donovan quickly becomes infatuated with her (yay he falls first trope!). She was everything he didn't want to allow himself to want, but she was everything he needed. He was looking for a place to really belong while running a bit from his past and his controlling family. Audra was trying to find happiness with her friends all while moving on with her life after a toxic ex.

Donovan was the good friend and man Audra needed in her life. While she brought him a breath of fresh air and fun.

This book took me by surprise in all the best ways. It was a slow burn start. An easy going small town romance and then BAM! It was a runaway train keeping you on your toes and pulling at your heartstrings. Loved Donovan and Audra. 💕

Thank you to Kelly O’Reilly for the opportunity to read this ARC! All opinions are my own.

Donovan Wright and Audra King are both a little lost. Donovan has spent his whole life running: first from his parents and the expectations they set for him, then from the tragedy of losing his best friend. Audra is stuck in a career she’s not sure she loves anymore and is being taunted by her psycho ex. After a few chance encounters, Donovan and Audra start to grow closer. Can they help each other find themselves and find love along the way, or will the chaos erupting around them keep things uncertain?

What a triumphant return to Savannah Springs! I loved the cast of characters in A Little Bit Untouchable, and I was so excited when I saw that Donovan and Audra’s story was next.

Both Donovan and Audra had trauma in their childhood that caused them to react in opposite ways. Donovan’s wealthy family and their expectations caused him to run, while Audra’s loss of her mother made her feel like she had to stay stuck in a career she didn’t love. It was wonderful to see them grow together and see that they could plants roots and also choose to adventure together!

I also loved that this story took place at the same time as A Little Bit Untouchable! It was wonderful to see everything that transpired behind the scenes and how other characters reacted to the events of the first book.

I can’t wait to see where the series goes next! I’m hoping the twins get their own books next. 🤭

ARC REVIEW:

Donovan and Audra’s heat is absolute perfection, and Savannah Springs continues to be the coziest, most addictive small-town setting for this friend group I can’t get enough of. The dual timelines are such a treat, knowing Mav and Cora’s side of the story from the first book, while also experiencing Audra and Donovan’s for the first time during that same timeline in the 2nd book, made the whole book feel layered and rich.

From page one, there’s no denying Donovan and Audra’s connection. It’s a slow burn but it’s also emotional and mature, the kind of love that feels real because they work through their trauma together. And when things go south, this friend group proves exactly why they’re the people you’d want in your corner. The way they rally around Audra made me feel just as safe as she did.

Also, Jules in New York? Standing ovation. Her restaurant scene is unforgettable, and if her book isn’t next, I might riot. (Jules + Murphy, anyone?)

The pacing is addictive — “just one more chapter” somehow kept turning into way past my bedtime. There’s plenty of plot, a lot of heart, genuine laughter, and just the right level of spice. By the end, I was a wreck in the best way.

ARC Review:

This story took me on an emotional roller coaster in the best possible way—one moment my heart was melting, the next it was in my throat. The author paints such vivid, heartfelt moments that I found myself wishing I could pull up a chair and join this tight-knit group of friends. The bonds here feel raw and real, forged through shared trauma, quiet understanding, and unshakable loyalty. Donovan and Audra’s journey is layered with tension, vulnerability, and moments of pure connection that linger long after the last page. It’s a story about trust, healing, and the kind of friendships that hold you up when you’re sure you’ll fall.

This is a cute little love story about a billionaire who doesn’t want to come out of his shell and a NICU nurse that is always the light of the room.

I love how Audra came into her own and overcame her trauma in order to allow herself to be loved again. I hate that her ex was taking things so far, however, I do believe that it helped the stroy line along.

Donovan is a billionaire that was so used to being used and exploited for his money and status, that he didn’t want to let anyone new in; even in a new small town. Once he came to love his new home, he also started opening up to his new friends, the ones that actually wanted to be friends with him, not the billionaire.

The ending was so cute and I am so happy that I was able to read an early copy!

Originally from New York, jet setter and adventure seeker, Donovan Wright is not used to the small town life in Savannah Springs but it's slowly growing on him. We first met Donovan in Kelly O'Reilly's debut novel, A Little Bit Untouchable. Although he's in town for business building a resort as a tribute to a friend he has lost, Donovan is missing that connection with people. Previously shutting himself off from anyone close to him, he slowly starts showing up to his co-worker, Maeve's friend group events. Thankfully he fits right in as he has eyes for one of Maeve's best friends, Audra. Told in a dual point of view of Donovan and Audra, they try and resist their attraction to the other because of both being hurt in past relationships. However the universe has more in store for them as they can't ignore how they feel about each other especially after they share their first kiss. Granted, their first kiss was intended to give a hint to an ex that Audra is no longer available, neither of them can deny the electricity they felt that kiss gave them. However don't get your hopes up that it will be smooth sailing for the two of them because the author, Kelly loves to play with your emotions!

I absolutely LOVED A Little Bit Uncertain! Kelly didn't just save the phenomenal writing for the first book in the series, she is on a roll with the second one as well! My emotions were all over the place and that's a good thing! I even messaged and joked with the author (again) that I was at 65% of the book, I wanted to shut it and say "they lived happily ever after" because I KNEW she was about to put me on a roller coaster of all the emotions and I was not wrong! Next at 75% into the book I was cheering out loud in my kitchen how a supporting character reacted to a situation. I honestly did not want to read the book so fast but I HAD to know what happened next! A first read of a great book is the best because you don't know what is going to happen and Kelly's writing has me looking forward to all of her future publishings. Also, make sure you grab the Kleenex because just like another one of my favorite author's, do not think that your two newest favorite characters will just ride into the sunset with a happy ending. I was BAWLING for the last 10% of it at 2 a.m.! Even with all those emotions, I HIGHLY recommend this book!

I wanted to share one of my favorite things about this series with the second book coming August 26, 2025 for release. Most books do a sequel book continuing the story where they left off. This is why I love Kelly's writing because she did not do this! Instead she intertwined the two stories where a few of the events that took place in the first book, took place in the second book but you were seeing it from two other characters point of view! The best part is it worked flawlessly!!! So technically between the POV's in both books you are getting to read scenes from four different characters and I absolutely loved that! I don't think I've ever read a book or series that has done that! This is just a testament to why Kelly O'Reilly is one of my new favorite authors and this series is one of my new favorite series! Trust me -go grab the book, download or however you want to read it! It's worth reading!

Thank you so much Kelly for sharing your writing with us! I'm still trying to guess who the next couple's story will be told in the series but I'm here for it!

✨ ARC Review ✨
A Little Bit Uncertain by Kelly O'Reilly

5/5 ✨
3/5 🌶️

Many thanks to the author for providing the opportunity to read this ARC!

I really enjoyed reading A Little Bit Uncertain. While it can be read as a standalone, I recommend starting with A Little Bit Untouchable. Reading the first book gave me a feel for small-town Savannah Springs, the friend group, and character dynamics. This definitely gave the story a richer experience.

The focus in this book is on Audra and Donovan, two people from opposite worlds. Donovan comes from incredible wealth, while Audra is a nurse with a modest background. Sparks fly after meeting a few times, but Audra's past relationship has left some thick scars.

"𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯."

Things become difficult when Donovan introduces Audra to his parents. They are outright rude and treat her as if she is beneath them. This causes Audra to question whether this relationship with Donovan can really work. Add in the tension of Audra's stalker ex and you have a story filled with emotion, conflict, and growth.

Luckily, Audra has a strong support system with her friend group. Juliette stood out the most to me with her blunt honesty and fierce loyalty.

What I loved:
- Found family - I love this friend group and how solid they are for each other. They are all definitely ride-or-die friends.
- Self-discovery and healing - Both Audra and Donovan need to face their pasts to move forward.
- Timeline overlap - It runs alongside the first book.
- Open-door spice - There's lots of it and it's balanced with real emotion.
- Happily ever after - This is just what I needed. 💝

Kelly O'Reilly's writing pulls you in with heart, heat, and emotion. I cried - the good AND the bad kind. Anyone that can pull that kind of reaction from me earns an automatic 5/5 stars. I am looking forward to seeing what is next in Savannah Springs!

Second book in the series — Audra and Donovan.
Their chemistry is absolutely wonderful.
This story runs during the same time as Maverick and Cora’s love story. Both friends finding love at the same time. There’s some overlap, but it’s told from Audra and Donovan’s POV.
Audra is a hard-working nurse who loves cooking and often makes yummy dishes for friends. Donovan is interested in Audra. But he never makes conversation with Audra in his office whenever she visits Maeve. This makes Audra feel like he doesn’t like her. Things change when Donovan witnesses Audra during a roadside accident taking control and helping the victim. At that moment, some part of him gets affected, and he decides he can’t keep hiding from her.
From then on, he starts making an effort, striking up conversations and even crashing her lunch dates with the girls just to meet her. Having seen Maeve’s friends, Donovan already thinks highly of them, thanks to Maeve’s influence.
Donovan comes from money and moved to Savannah Springs to handle construction and launch his resort, QUEST. For the past few years, he has been a loner, moving from place to place, setting up resorts without ever settling down. But with Audra in the picture, he finally sees himself building a home and a future.
His interest in her cooking, his genuine friendship with the twins, and his growing concern for Audra slowly make him a part of her circle. He even becomes possessive when her ex tries to approach her—his care and protectiveness are impossible to miss.
Everything about their story is lovely. Both come with heavy baggage from the past, and they’re complete opposites, yet they’re drawn to each other. Their love story is chef’s kiss. The raw emotions are high, the care between them is beautiful, but trust is the missing piece. The deeper they dig into their pasts, the more they run away.
Its beautiful love story with love, care, humour and drama. The friendships, the emotional support amongst the cast is perfect.

Returning to Savannah Springs felt like coming home! This charming little town is the perfect backdrop for love, friendship, and all the emotions in between.

Donovan and Audra’s chemistry was undeniable. It didn’t spark instantly—Donovan’s walls kept everyone at arm’s length—but the moment they truly interacted, you could feel the tension simmering, waiting to ignite. Their relationship built slowly but steadily, giving us the chance to savor every step of their journey.

Both carried their own baggage: Donovan, a billionaire weighed down by a toxic, appearance-obsessed family, and Audra, scarred by a past relationship where money and status shattered her trust. Her ex’s wealthy family didn’t accept her as more than his girlfriend, and the heartbreak left her wary of men with money. Watching Donovan and Audra confront these fears, open up about their vulnerabilities, and choose honesty made their connection all the more rewarding.

And let’s talk about the spice—wow. Audra completely surprised me with her confidence in the bedroom. She knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to ask for it, while Donovan was more than willing to give her everything she desired. Their intimacy was fiery, passionate, and oh-so-satisfying (the New York scenes especially… I was blushing and screaming!).

Beyond the romance, the found family element in this series continues to shine. The friendships between the girls are heartwarming, and the growing bonds between the men are just as touching. It adds such richness to the story and makes you want to be part of this world.

I’m already counting down to the next book—I need answers, and I trust Kelly will deliver!

Huge thanks to Kelly for the chance to read this ARC. What a wonderful ride!

📚: A Little Bit Uncertain
✍️: Kelly O’Reilly

⭐️: 5
🌶️: 3

💭: Kelly O’Reilly has done it again - if she writes it, I’m reading it. This story pulled me in from the very first page, and every time I had to “adult,” I was throwing a full-on mental pout because all I wanted to do was 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨.

𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 is an incredible pediatric nurse who radiates pure sunshine. It’s no wonder she catches Donovan’s attention so effortlessly. After losing her mother and nearly her own life, Audra has devoted herself to helping others - but even with her bright spirit, she’s feeling the weight of burnout and the ache of something missing.

𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 (𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗻) is an obscenely wealthy man with walls built sky-high to protect himself from his past. He claims he’s not “easy to know,” but Audra sees past the armor. With her gentle persistence, she finds the man behind the money - the one who is patient, loyal, and unexpectedly kind.

Their connection is slow-burn perfection. The chemistry? Undeniable. The banter? Absolute gold. Donovan’s patience and care with Audra make their relationship feel so real, and by the time things heat up — let’s just say, Kelly O’Reilly knows how to write spice that hits every single emotion. And the cheeky flirting may even be hotter than the spice - don’t even get me started on that pool scene… 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘸𝘸𝘸𝘸! 🔥

This series has been such a delight, full of found family, friendship, and heart. Savannah Springs feels like place I wouldn’t mind calling home, and I cannot wait to dive into book three (and will be impatiently counting down for book four!).

Thank you, Kelly O’Reilly, for giving us another couple I’ll be thinking about long after the last page.

This book sucked me right in from the first chapter. I feel like I was right there in the tiny town living in the book while I read it. While I loved the whole book, the ending was perfectly done. It really showed how attentive and willing someone is when they truly love a person. I can guarantee it will give you goosebumps. I also really liked that this beautiful story unfolded while still showing the dark and ugly parts of the real world.

Donovan is in a quiet town in South Carolina building a resort to honor his travel partner Tommy that lost his life. He's used to living a life where paparazzi follow him and his personal life is splashed every where. None of this happens in this perfect Hallmark town. His assistant Maeve has a best friend Audra. He is completely captivated by her and he hasn't ever felt the world stop like he did when they shared a kiss.

Audra is an ICU nurse for the pediatric department in the small town hospital. In her mind she's giving back since she was once a patient in this very hospital. She has been single for 3 years after a pretty traumatic breakup with Theo. When Theo sees Audra is starting to move on finally, he is not okay with it. Things escalate very quickly in a very scary way.

Donovan and Audra have to make it through dinner with his family, Theo stalking, and both of them trying to heal pain that has truly broken them. You get to go on the rollercoaster ride of life with them and cheer them on to heal while giggling at all the crazy antics of this quirky small town.

This book has everything — emotions, friendships, romance, and the right touch of spice 🫶🏻

Donovan & Audra’s relationship begins with friendship, and I loved how it slowly grew into something deep, emotional, and oh so chemistry filled. Watching their bond grow from slow-burn to sizzling chemistry was such a ride!!

What I truly admired was how both characters carried the weight of their past -- childhood struggles, family pressures..yet still carved their own paths. Donovan’s way of handling his wealthy family’s heavy expectations and Audra sticking to her hectic nursing career (even when it wasn’t easy for her) made me respect them even more.

The side characters?? ABSOLUTE GOLD. Their friend group is exactly the kind of people you’d want in your corner -- supportive, hilarious, and heartwarming. The group texts were honestly my favorite part .

The spice 🌶️ was well-balanced, not over the top, but just enough to make their connection feel even more genuine.

The writing style was captivating from page one. Dual POVs always have my heart, and here it made the story addictive. You’ll promise yourself “just one more chapter”… but trust me, you won’t be able to stop until the very end.

Even though it’s book two in the series, it works perfectly as a standalone!
But now I have to go back and grab book one because I don’t want to miss a thing

Are you hunting for your next romance read with the right mix of emotions, friendship, spice, and lovable characters ? If YES, then pick this up ASAP!!! You won’t regret it

Thank you to Kelly O’Reilly for the ARC of A Little Bit Uncertain.

Set in the charming town of Savannah Springs, South Carolina, this story brings together Donovan, the ambitious owner of an adventure resort, and Audra, a devoted PICU nurse who’s lived there all her life. At first, Donovan comes off as distant and indifferent, but a few chance encounters begin to awaken feelings he’s long kept buried. Audra feels the pull too, though her past heartbreak makes her hesitant to risk her heart again.

This book is a cozy, heartfelt romance about love, timing, and taking chances—with the surprising addition of a stalker subplot that added intrigue and made it feel refreshingly different from a typical romance formula. Donovan is an absolute book boyfriend—his personal growth and found family were so well done. The spice was also really well balanced: not over the top, but enough to bring a realistic depth to their connection. I also adored Audra’s friendship group and can’t wait to dive into more of their stories.

Though this is the second in the series, it reads seamlessly as a standalone, while still leaving me eager to go back and catch up on the first book. I’m especially hoping Maeve gets her Hawaiian adventure book soon!

Overall, this was a charming, warm read with a unique twist and some really great spice. ★★★★½

I was so excited to meet up with old and new characters - and what an emotional return to Savannah Springs it was!

Donovan is on the run from his ultra-wealthy family, trying to make a name for himself without his parents influence and the baggage that his "pedigree" brings. Audra has had bad luck in the relationship department, most recently with an ultra-wealthy college romance turned possessive ex. Small town, Savannah Springs, SC has it's perks when you're looking to rebrand, start over... or run away...

Audra fit in perfectly with the Savannah Springs group and was welcomed with open arms. Donovan is a loner, still finding himself on the perimeter of most social interactions in town. But, running into Audra at a local shop has him opening up and realizing just how lonely he's been and how attractive the new woman in town really is. Soon he finds himself with invites into her inner circle hangouts and the slow burn starts to heat up! The chemistry between these two is electric. Battling their own insecurities, they try to fight it, some push and pull ensuing, but it's too much to deny for long. Donovan and Audra compliment each other perfectly and their journey was emotional, vulnerable, and addictive to read. I laughed, swooned, and gasped plenty!

I can't wait to get back to Savannah Springs to catch up with the crew in the next book!

Donovan and Audra's chemistry is pure perfection, and Savannah Springs remains the coziest, most captivating small-town backdrop for this friend group that I can’t get enough of. The simultaneous timelines are delightful; understanding Mav and Cora’s perspective from the first book while simultaneously discovering Audra and Donovan’s in the second book created a deeply layered and vibrant experience.

From the very first page, Donovan and Audra’s bond is unmistakable. It’s a gradual development, yet it’s also heartfelt and grown-up, the type of love that feels authentic as they navigate their trauma as a team. When things take a turn for the worse, this group of friends shows precisely why they are the ones you’d want supporting you. Their support for Audra made me feel as secure as she felt.

Additionally, Jules in New York? Applause that lasts. Her dining experience is memorable, and if her book isn’t released soon, I may protest. (Jules + Murphy, perhaps?)

The tempo is captivating — “just one more chapter” consistently led to me staying up well past my bedtime. There's an abundance of story, plenty of emotion, authentic humor, and the perfect touch of excitement. In the end, I was a mess in the most positive sense

ARC Review: A Little Bit Uncertain by Kelly O’Reilly

Book 2 in this heartfelt small-town series follows the broody, new-to-town recluse Donovan and the sunshiney hometown darling Audra. And let me tell you—this one gave me all the feels.
Who doesn’t love a reclusive billionaire falling hopelessly in love? Exactly. No one.

From the start, you can tell both characters carry some deep wounds, and their emotional baggage threatens to derail things before they even begin. But there's this undeniable pull between them—an emotional gravity they can't resist.

This is a true slow burn, but the payoff is worth it. Their love felt so authentic because they worked through their trauma together. It wasn’t insta-love, it was hard-won, and that made it all the more satisfying.

And can we talk about Jules for a second? I’m seriously hoping her book is next—that woman deserves a happily ever after. Her NYC restaurant scene? Permanently living rent-free in my head.

A Little Bit Uncertain is a small town romance that checked all of my boxes and surprised me in lots of ways.

Audra is a nurse who is tepid around wealthy men after being deeply hurt by her ex. That is, until she sees her best friend’s boss in a new light. Donovan, who is extremely guarded due to his past trauma, comes alive around Audra. This is a story of walls crumbling and souls healing as they intertwine.

One thing that becomes clear is that Audra and Donovan’s past traumas are perfectly matched to trigger one another. I appreciate that they are written to be emotionally mature enough that this does cause problems, but not earth-shattering problems. Donovan’s character surprised me in a lot of ways as he shows deep vulnerabilities. Here we have two people who have major baggage and love each other enough to heal.

The thing that surprised me most about this book is the extent that the drama and suspense rise above your average romance. There were times that my heart was pounding and my jaw was on the floor. I am so grateful to have read A Little Bit Uncertain, and I can’t wait to hear more from our Savannah Springs crew. 💕

Omg—I fell absolutely head over heels for Audra and Donovan! This story was everything I love in a romance and more. Kelly O’Reilly beautifully weaves together past hurt, deep trauma, and the kind of healing that only comes when two souls truly connect. Watching Audra and Donovan find their way to one another felt raw, real, and so incredibly moving.

From the playful banter and fun nicknames to the sizzling chemistry that leaps off the page, to the quiet, heartfelt moments that made me tear up—this book has it all. Their journey is a perfect balance of passion, vulnerability, and that once-in-a-lifetime love that makes your heart ache in the best way.

This isn’t just a romance—it’s a story of learning to trust again, letting go of fear, and discovering that sometimes love comes exactly when you need it most. Kelly O’Reilly knocked it out of the park with this one.

Run, don’t walk, to grab this book the moment it releases—you won’t want to miss it!

Thank you Kelly & Elaine for this ARC!

I was so excited to receive this ARC. I absolutely ADORED the first book in the series. I can now say the same for the second. I loved reading Audra and Donovan so much. The slow burn in this book is absolute perfection. This series has one of my favorite found family’s, ever. Their dynamic and love for each other is truly remarkable. The group texts are my absolute favorite part. It feels so real and makes me laugh every time. This book had me feeling all of the emotions. I was struggling to read through the tears at one point. I stayed up way too late because I absolutely had to finish this book. I love how Kelly connected the two books in the series in such a unique way. I am truly so in love with this series. Savannah Springs could have 10 books and I will read every single one. Kelly has such an incredible way of writing her stories. She’s also so incredibly kind and supportive. Easy 6 ⭐️’s. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

✨ARC REVIEW✨

Welp. Looks like I’m adding South Carolina to the list of places to consider moving in hopes that the millionaire with the heart of gold will fall madly in love with me.

I loved how in book one of the series, we got little glimpses of Audra and Donovan with their stolen glances and easy friendship. But seeing how they hit it off so effortlessly and were there for each other in so many ways, both big and small, was truly beautiful.

Both of them had seemed to shut themselves off towards others and put on their brave faces for everyone around them, but when they finally got each other’s walls to start crumbling, it was more clear than ever that they were truly made for each other.

I am obsessed with this series so far and can’t wait to see who the next couple Kelly has in store for us is (even though I think I have it figured out😉)

But also……….I am 100% finding out where I can order a custom magic 8 ball from.

Big thanks to the author for the ARC of this one! I loved the first book in this series and I think I might have liked this one even better! This is such a fantastic small town romance/romantic suspense and Audra and Donovan were so fun to follow! Donovan is a wealthy business man who has moved to their small town to open an adventure resort. Audra is a nurse, who is friends with Donovan's assistant Maeve. Donovan and Maeve end up thrust into a lot of the same events and make a connection. Audra is dealing with some unwanted attention from an ex and has some wounds from that situation and Donovan also has a history that makes it difficult for him to fall in love. Despite, these things, they fall for each other in a deep and beautiful way. This book had the perfect amount of spice and lots of emotion behind all aspects of the story. If you enjoy authors like Corinne Michaels, Devney Perry and Catherine Cowles, definitely check this one out! Can't wait for the next one in the series!

(A Little Bit Series Book 2)

This was my 32nd ARC read, and I must say, I absolutely love Donovan and Audra's story! In the last book, we had the man who came from poverty fall for the rich woman, but this one flipped the roles with the rich man falling for a poor woman. Donovan is a knight in shining armor, and Audra is so strong with everything she has been through. They complete each other in the best possible ways. 🥰

It is out now, so go read it! (And be sure to read A Little Bit Untouchable, too, if you haven't already!)

Thank you to the author and Eliane Proofreading for this eARC!

This was such a satisfying read. It starts as a slow burn, but when it shifts to a fast burn, it really takes off. The chemistry between Audra and Donovan was through the roof, and I loved every moment of their connection.

The author’s writing was captivating, and even the side characters were well-developed—so much so that I’m now craving their backstories. The found family aspect was beautifully done, adding warmth and depth to the story. I especially appreciated how the author handled the main characters’ struggles and allowed their love to develop naturally over time.

Also, Audra and Donovan are such unique names for main characters—I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in a romance before.

A 4.75-star read for me, and I highly recommend it.

I love the first book A little Bit Untouchable so I was over the moon to receive an ARC of A little Bit Uncertain. I was so excited for it and it did not disappoint.
I loved Donavon and Audra. You could feel their connection from the first page, which got me so excited and kept me saying “just one more chapter” over and over again.
I laughed, cried and went through all the emotions but it was so worth it. Seeing them both work through their traumas together was so heartwarming. And the way their friends were always there for them was one of the things I loved the most.

If you love a slow burn, with all the feels, please read this. I’m so sad I’ve finished it… but I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Thank you so much to Kelly for the ARC

ARC review ✨

This was a pleasant and surprisingly spicy little numba 🤭

I am suchhh a sucker for a protective-always-there MMC. Donovan was such a softy that the spicy scenes really smacked me in the face 😆 he’s so respectful and earnest and genuine!

Watching Donovan and Audra fall for each other felt like the perfect way to end the summer season. Just something magical about it.

Audra is such a relatable character, hard-working, giving. I was so frustrated for her in her career in the beginning but loved witnessing her recognize that she deserved better. In her career and her relationships!

We’re not gonna talk about Theo or Donovan’s mom. How did Donovan or McKenna turn out as great as they did 🥲

Soo thankful for that epilogue, the last few chapters were a lot 😆😭😭😭

This book was unexpectedly smutty. I did not expect it to be this good, it crossed my expectations. Kelly O' Reily is an amazing author and the story she depicted here of Audra and Sir Donovan was very captivating. A well paced story, no rushing or slowing it down.

Sir Donovan had a huge character development from ignoring her to proposing her in the most perfect way , from having zero friends to a group of people he now calls family.

It was so fun to read this because it had that funny-flirty side from donovan but also a very thriller feel with a stalker ex and toxic family.

The ending was very unexpected, i did not see that coming at all. I thought it will be another rushed ending but couldn't be more wrong.

Found another top book here!!

I couldn't wait to read Donovan and Audra's story after the characters were introduced in book 1 of the series. They were perfect together and Kelly O'Reilly wrote their story so well!
Donovan was a closed off and damaged billionaire, running from his demons when he moved to a small South Carolina from New York. There, he met Audra who captivated him and caused him to slowly drop his walls. As Donovan and Audra slowly built a relationship that began with friendship, they realized they had to endure some chaos before they got their happily every after.
The characters, the banter, the spice and all the chaos make this book absolutely amazing!
