At sixteen, you think you know what life has in store for you, but one night changes everything.
Once second you're playing video games, then the next you’re standing next to a gravesite with grief and anger running deep in you.
So deep the only think you can think of to get out of the dark cloud, to get away from your demons, is to run.
Run from life.
Run from your responsibilities.
Run and leave everything and everyone behind.
I run until going back home is my only option.

Lies in Promises has me wanting to jump right back into Vows in Corruption. I absolutely loved getting Bennett and Robert's backstory in depth and watching it all unfold. The first half went a little slow, but once we got into the more present time it became unputdownable. I was racing to the finish to see how it'd end, only to be given a GIANT cliffhanger.
I can't wait to get more from this world, it's so intriguing and exhilarating and I need more.
