A Curvy Christmas for the Mountain Man She came to deliver cookies. He’s about to devour her instead. Sasha “Cookie” Cook wasn’t planning on spending Christmas trapped in a cabin with a grumpy, gorgeous mountain man… but when her best friend begs her to deliver a last-minute singing telegram to her reclusive uncle, she can’t say no. One Santa dress, a basket of cookies, and a blizzard later—she’s snowed in with Red Evergreen. Red doesn’t do Christmas. Or people. Or anything resembling small talk. But when the curvy, mouthy baker in his living room starts filling the cabin with the scent of cinnamon and sass, he finds himself wanting more than silence. The storm might have forced them together, but the heat between them is about to keep them there. Now there’s only one bed, one roaring fire… and one very determined mountain man who plans to keep his Cookie all to himself.
Grumpy ex-military hero. Sunshine baker heroine. Snowed in. Only one bed. All the spice.
This Christmas, Red Evergreen is finding out the best gifts come wrapped in curves… and nothing else.

Just in time for Christmas! So some people like to cozy up with a Hallmark movie. While others like me want to gobble up all the Christmas romances that get released. Linzvonc gives us a grumpy/sunshine(with an edge) novella. There is also an age gap(h, 28 and H, 40)\
Cookie(Sasha) was sent by her friend to deliver cookies to her recluse Uncle who lives up in the Mountains. Red is 40 years old and after spending time in the military and losing far too many people in his life, he is happy to live alone with his dog Bear. On Christmas Eve, Cookie comes a calling with gifts and baked goods. Red tries to send her on her way, but with a blizzard a brewing and her dressed for fun not weather, he insists she stay against his better judgement. He is drawn to her, but getting close to anyone is not on his agenda. The weather has other plans, and Cookie finds herself extending her stay which is rather inconvenient since there is one bed(or maybe it is just good luck) Ok so I think you know where this is going….
However, the author builds the tension up for the couple and the reader. They actually do not get intimate until the sixty percent mark. Their intimate scenes were not only sexy, but they were also heartwarming. Two damaged people being seen for the first time
There is a very minor hiccup for our lovers, when Cookie has to return to the “real” world. The author only spends a couple of pages of conflict. It is handled quickly and our lovers are back together. There is an epilogue set a year in the future.
So I like to call this insta-love and then some. It wasn’t just meet and fall into bed. There was some relationship building, with the undercurrents of desire. I love the inclusion of Bear the dog…I mean who doesn't like a mountain dog! So if you are looking for a quick, light, enjoyable story with some spice and little drama this story will probably fulfill your requirements. This is a busy time of the year, so it is nice to fit in some quick stories here and there!
This novella gives readers a complete story. Cookie is sent by her best friend and coworker, Beth, to deliver bakery treats and sing a song to her uncle. Yes, you heard that right she was a singing Santa-gram. Beth even got her a Santa costume. On Cookies body, the suit was sinful. Not quite the look that I think they were going for. Cookie can't help but feel something for someone who is going to spend Christmas alone. No wonder he is grumpy. The weather was supposed to be clear, so Cookie started up the mountain. Beth did not do Red's grumpiness justice. This man took the cake.
Red was surprised to find this curvy woman at his doorstep. Even more surprised that his dog took to her quickly. Bear is usually a good judge of character. Unfortunately, the weather forecast was not correct. Now, Cookie is stuck in a space that was meant for one person. This author knows how to make readers feel how her characters feel. The uncomfortable situation will be felt by readers. Cookie, ever the optimist, tried to see the bring side of things. Both of them were able to spend Christmas with someone. Both had planned to spend the holiday alone. Can Cookie coax this mountain man off the mountain?
Don't worry. You will get some pretty steamy scenes with this one. Once these two get to know each other, the attraction could not be denied. I really enjoyed getting to know both characters. They were both well developed. Readers will understand their feelings and sympathize with them.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — A sweet, steamy Christmas treat you’ll want to unwrap again and again
This was pure holiday decadence with a dash of danger, a heap of heat, and a whole lot of heart. If “snowed-in with a grumpy mountain man” is your catnip, buckle up—you’re about to be fed.
Sasha “Cookie” Cook is everything you want in a sunshine heroine: curvy, sassy, and radiating warmth like she was personally handcrafted by Mrs. Claus. She was supposed to drop off a singing telegram and some cookies… not end up stuck in a cabin with a towering, broody ex-military recluse who hasn’t celebrated Christmas in years.
Enter Red Evergreen: gruff voice, grim exterior, scarred past, and a heart just waiting for the right woman to knead it like dough. Watching him thaw—slowly, reluctantly, hungrily—as Cookie fills his cabin (and life) with sweetness is honestly the highlight of the whole story.
The snowed-in tension? Perfect. The only-one-bed situation? Elite behavior. The spice level? Hot enough to melt the entire mountain.
But beneath all the heat, there’s a surprising tenderness that gives the story its charm. Red and Cookie fit together in that timeless way—grumpy and sunshine, rough and soft, winter storm and warm oven glow. By the end, you’ll be rooting for this man to claim every last curve he worships.
A cozy, dirty, cinnamon-scented delight. If you love holiday romances that bring the heat along with the mistletoe, this one is absolutely irresistible.
Just in time for the Christmas season! A Curvy Christmas for the Mountain Man is a captivating holiday romance that integrates grumpy/sunshine during a holiday storm. It features the MMC as an ex-military hero and a curvy baker heroine, with lots of steaminess to thaw a winter storm.
The characters are appealing, likable, and perfectly steamy together. I very much enjoyed the book and would highly recommend it.
If being snowed in with a grumpy mountain man is on your TBR or wish list, prepare yourself—you're about to be captivated.
Red, the grumpy MMC, has grown accustomed to a solitary life in his mountain cabin. He seems to enjoy his own company, and as you read this book, you'll understand why. He's a mountain of a man with a grinch-like exterior, but deep down, there may be some residual joy.
Cookie is a lovely character; anyone reading the book will absolutely adore her. She's sweet, caring, and has a big heart. The story took an unexpected turn, and reading about these two characters was heartbreaking. However, when two souls with high walls around their hearts get stuck in a snowstorm together, it's a story worth re-reading. I loved how this story flowed, and I was not able to put the book down.
I absolutely loved this book and want to thank Linz Von C for allowing me to be an ARC reader.
He’s the grump that keeps himself excluded in his own cabin up the mountain away from family and people. He has loves his excluded life away from everything just and his dog. She’s the vibrant baker that always has a smile on her face, and there to help when needed but underneath it all she is still missing that family connection.
Doing a favour for her friend as a Christmas sing a gram delivering cookies she heads up the mountain to deliver the Christmas cheer dressed in her santa outfit. ‘Cookie’s’ cheer does nothing to help thaw Red’s attitude, but Cookie is determined and wont leave until her job is done. One done Cookie has another problem, the snow has fallen, the cars are suck and poor Cookie is now stuck on the mountain, and though this man is grumpy he wont leave her out in the cold.
Two people who dont know each other one a ray of sunshine and the other a grump are now stuck together in a cabin with one bed. As the snow sets to fall, encasing these two into their own bubble, Red’s heart begins to thaw, there is only so much tension these two can take before it all spills over and they give in to their inner desires.
This has got me right in the Christmas book feels Doing December right with this absolute gem of a story
Red the grumpy MMC who has become used to life by himself alone on the mountain in his cabin He enjoys (if that’s the right word for it haha) his own company. When you read this book you will get what I mean. He is a mountain of a man and deep inside the grinch exterior somewhere there may be some joy left in there, or maybe not haha
Cookie omg this girl though, I love her I think she’s everything I love about an MFC she’s sweet she’s caring and has the biggest heart This girl deserves her HEA and this book had me cheering in her corner that she gets it Things are not what I thought and reading about these two characters was heartbreaking but when two souls that has higher walls than black heart around their hearts and get stuck in a snow storm together Welll now that was a story I’ll be re reading I loved how this story flowed and I was so hooked I couldn’t put this down The spice was delicious The grumpiness was perfection The sweetness was splendid The ending was the cherry on the cake
Red is a recluse. He has closed himself off from everyone including his family after returning home from the war. He has built a home in the mountains and stays secluded there. He is a grump and feels as if he has no relationships then people can’t leave him behind or hurt him. Cookie/Sasha is a ray of sunshine. Her best friend Beth asked her to take cookies to her Uncle Red, who refuses to answer the door for her. One catch she wants her to wear a skimpy Santa suit and sing to him as well. Cookie agrees because she doesn’t think anyone should be alone for Christmas. When she gets there he is the grump She expected and unfortunately for her she gets stuck in his cabin with him due to a snow storm. Will Cookie be able to win Red over? This was a cute heartwarming tale about a man who has suffered loss and changed his outlook on life because of it. Cookie comes in like the ray of sunshine she is and knows all of his walls down.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Cookie and Red! There is something about the "snowed in - one bed" trope that simply does it for me, and in combination with the Christmas theme, this book was right up my alley.
However, Christmas in this story was not a typically cheery occasion, but one marked by loneliness and self-inflicted solitude, which provided a beautiful layer of emotional depth. I loved the slow, deliberate pace of the story, watching how these two characters gently found their way to each other.
It is a real shame that I would definitely not pick this book up based on the cover and title alone. They feel silly and simply do not hold a candle to the emotional depth and maturity of the story inside. Other readers might miss out on this book because of the packaging.
This spicy little Christmas story was perfect to get you in the holiday spirit. It focuses on losses and loneliness during the holiday season that so many experience. It touches on heavy topics with class. Cookie/Sasha is clearly a wild one doing a task for her friend for a complete stranger with the risk of being trapped for days. She was determined to break down some walls Red has erected. Red a loner happy with no strong relationships did not see Cookie/Sasha coming and boy was he stubborn. The way two strangers were able to coexists together and create something beautiful was amazing. Let’s take a moment to give Bear some recognition because that dog could read a room well! I loved that a quick read was able to tell such a sweet and spicy story. If you enjoy forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, hurting mmc, “mine” this story will give you that.
Side note: any story that can have a Springsteen reference in it is a huge win for me 😁
Picture this...its 11pm on a school night, I am snuggled up in bed, 2 cats making little snoring noises at the side of me, and my pillow is damp with tears. Why? because of this book, specifically chapter 13.
I am not usually one for reading Festive books, but I love Linzvonc's books, and I thought, why not? It might drag some Christmas cheer out of me. Do you know what it did drag out of me? All my feelings, that's what. I went from giggling and kicking my feet to feeling frustrated at this grumpy Mountain Man who just won't admit to his feelings to then crying happy tears at the ending.
This is a beautiful and relatable story with a Grumpy/Sunshine, forced proximity, and one bed trope.
Do yourselves a favour and add this to your Christmas tbr 🎄

I loved this short festive story, this isn’t your typical grumpyxsunshine, snowed in spicy short story. This book had so many layers to it, I absolutely loved deep diving into Red’s reason as to why he prefers to isolate himself from the world and his family. Cookie our cute curvy FMC is unapologetically bubbly and fun on the outside and you would think aww she’s just living her best life, however as they both get vulnerable the insecurities are exposed. This book wasn’t overly spicy but when the spicy hit 😮💨😏it didn’t disappoint, the tension was high from the start. If you want a cute short spicy read I would 100% recommend.
This short Christmas read has a little of everything, age gap, plus size heroine, a grumpy older mountain man, spice and just pure romance. Linzvonc can really suck you into her stories and leave you wanting more.
Red is a mountain man with a painful past, he is living in the mountains by himself with his dog, this is where Cookie comes into play. She comes cause her bestie asked her to check in on her uncle. She comes dressed as a Santa bringing cookies, boy she doesn’t plan on being stuck there or that Red would be her type.
Definitely check out this book if you love Christmas romances with a dash of grumpy hero and a spunky plus size heroine.
Cookie - her best friend asked her to deliver a last minute singing telegram to her uncle who lives alone and in a cabin away from everyone. Cookie turns up in a Santa's dress, the weather forced them together, alone without any cell service and without visitors.
Red - enjoys living his life without seeing people, but only this Christmas he won't be alone, because his niece sent her best friend up to his cabin, only the weather was against him, which meant Cookie was snowed in with him. All alone, wearing a short santa dress which hugs her curves, being a temptation he didn't know he needed.
This Christmas novel is packed with emotion, one which will give you all the feels.
This is a beautifully written Christmas novel, one which caught me hookline and sinker. I ate this novel up! I need more!
I love a good Christmasy feel novel, but what is even more perfect is the delicous temptation spice inside!
If you are looking for a spicy, packed with emotion Christmas novel then this one is for you!
I couldn't put this book down! The way this author created this storyline and the characters inside were amazingly done.
This is not the first novel by this author I have read and it will not be the last.
Oh My Gosh !!! Such a fun and steamy read !!! The perfect way to get in the mood for the holiday season . Grumpy Sunshine/ One Bed / Forced Proximity, Sweet and Steamy , the type of story that will grab on , suck you right in and keep you up reading well into the early morning. Sasha and Red - I loved these two together, the chemistry they shared , the way they knew just how to push each other’s buttons. I could not stop smiling, laughing, cheering and yes there were even a few times that definitely gave a nice tug on all my heartstrings
From the author: ' A Culrvy Christmas for the Mountain Man is a grumpy/sunshine, snowed-in holiday romance featuring a broody ex-military hero, a curvy baker heroine, and enough steam to melt a winter storm.' An apt description.
The plot was pretty straightforward. World building was well developed and solidly drawn. The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and likeable and perfectly steamy together. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a cosy Christmas novella with spice then this is for you.
Red is Cookie’s best friends uncle and he is pretty much a recluse and loves to be by himself. She goes up the mountain to check on him as her friend is worried about her uncle spending Christmas by himself. Cookie gets stranded up the mountain with Red and their relationship blooms. The banter is brilliant and this is grumpy/sunshine to a tee.
I absolutely loved this and it’s perfect for the Christmas season!
I received this book as an ARC and I’m so glad I did . Any book by this author is always a plus for me she always does great Christmas stories . but this one was far the best one she has done ✅ Cookie and Red were great . He had Trauma from being in the Military and she Trauma from her past. but I love loved that she was loud and chippy . And Red was the Grumpy man who believed he could be alone and be ok . With just him and his dog bear It was also age gap how could you not love it 😍 😉😊 .

This is a delightfully scrumptious Christmas novella. The main characters are Cookie, the happy baker with a sunshine personality & Red, the grumpy mountain man who is also ex military. While delivering baked goods to Red at his cabin, she gets snowed in. Forced proximity and the one bed tropes are some of my favorite! This was a fun cozy, yet spicy, read just in time for Christmas to put me in the holiday mood!
Did his Niece set them up? A snowstorm incoming and a last-minute singing telegram. Can Sasha and Red make it through the storm without getting burned? Linzvonc had me craving more and more. It seems these books are like Christmas Cookies on crack you can't just have one and be done. Once you have one you have to eat them all.

A Curvy Christmas For The Mountain Man is Sasha "Cookie" Cook and Red Evergreens story. It's a fast paced, fun, grumpy/sunshine story that's so light. It's the perfect sweet, steamy read when time is limited and is the best "pick me up". This couple is fun and lovable. Yep even Mr. Grumpy Pants! A great short story.
well merry Christmas to me this book was everything 🥵😌 you ate and let no crumbs with this book this was the perfect Christmas novella the spice was to top tier and I loved her best friend she was so funny lol 🤣🤣 and I loved how she kept it honest with her telling her not to give up on a life with love all this book was amazing 😍
What a cute, adorable, fun Christmas story. What I loved the most was that Christmas was not portrayed as cheery and happy, it was dreadful and came with strong emotions and this is exactly how I've felt for many many years, for personal reasons, so this connection was a good one for me. I loved both of these characters and absolutely adored the one year later.
This was a short, sweet, and spicy read and I loved it! Cookie and Red were so sweet together! I had always been a sucker for a grumpy sunshine book and Red was the perfect grump to Cookie’s sunshine. I loved seeing her break down his walls! It was just a sweet love story and just a feel good holiday tale. The spice was just the right level too! I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a smile!
Loved this Grumpy/Sunshine story. A Curvy girl for the Grumpy Mountain Man. This short story is full of spice, emotions, and learning to let someone into your heart again. ❤️ This story is very well written. It's a fun, steamy journey. Sparks are flying. And the best HEA ending. Linzvonc is truly amazing. She does not disappoint. I highly recommend this fun Christmas story.
Red is grumpy and Cookie is sunshine. This a a short, sweet, steamy story. It checks off all the right boxes for a short story. They both have their well constructed walls...but thry couldn't fight their instant chemistry. It's just in time for a Christmas themed book. I look forward to more from this series.
Oh my goodness I absolutely loved Sasha and Red’s story. Sasha / Cookie is a cute sunshine sassy curvy woman with a shining feel good personality and Red is a grumpy loner with a traumatic past. I love how they both bond together with insecurities and painful past. It’s one of those feel good Christmas romance that had me hooked beginning to end. Can’t wait for the next book by Linzvonc!!!!
