Judi Holler is a creative entrepreneur, USA Today bestselling author, motivational speaker and, most importantly, a self-expressionist leading a bold new movement called The Art of Self-Expressionism™: a soul-driven leadership philosophy built for the future of work.
We’re no longer waiting on institutions. We’re waking up. The creative revolution is here—and it’s personal. In this new era, success will belong to the self-led: those who trust their intuition, own their originality, and express themselves with courage.
Yet most workplaces haven’t caught up. They ask for innovation and engagement, but haven’t built environments where self-expression feels safe—or even possible. That’s where Judi comes in.
Her work fuses art and business, helping people reconnect with who they are and turn that self-awareness into a strategic advantage. Because when people feel safe to express themselves, they take initiative. They collaborate more authentically. They lead themselves—and everything changes.
Her book, Holler at Your Dreams, is the embodiment of this work—a genre-bending manifesto blending poetry, pop art, and personal growth for those ready to build lives and careers that feel like theirs.
Offstage, you can find Judi building the HOLLAverse—a community-driven project for courageous self-expression—mixing up a mean Cadillac margarita, laughing at her golf game, or vibing to ’90s hip-hop like it’s still the golden era. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband, Scott, and their two dogs.
When I requested an ARC of this book, I was thinking of it in terms of my interest in creating a talk around creativity in the workplace. I've been long interested in helping what I call The Embedded Artist (people who chose to go into a stable job rather than build a career in the arts) reconnect to their creativity. Until I read this book I didn't realize I was one of them.
Being a veteran of personal development and entrepreneurship, there wasn't much new for me in this book. However, the style was incredibly inspiring. What truly makes it soar is Holler's poetry and visual art used throughout. If you had any doubt about the power of authentic expression, this book blows that out of the water. She challenges some well known tropes while re-enforces others while sharing her own experiences.
I can definitely see the influence of Human Design on this book. The first time I saw the language I knew she was a fellow Projector. (The core of my design is to experiment with new ideas and share the wisdom I gained through experience, so to see it modelled so well is incredibly helpful.) It flows naturally in the prose so if you don't know HD it's not jarring. She shares her various inspirations and it's encouraged me to search some of them out as well as think about my own. I've already used a few of her prompts to get some more clarity and I've bookmarked a bunch more to return to for my writing.
The style is in your face so she's not for everyone but if you have even a hint of adventure in your soul and aren't living your greatest life, you need this book. It was the kick in the butt I needed!
This isn’t an ordinary book. It’s a book filled with passion, energy, and vulnerability. Judi does a great job of breaking the book off into 4 sections - pain, peace, presence, and paradigm. Within the sections, Judi drops lyrics, poems, journal entries and more that are a reflection of what she went through. This book is so inspiring and it’s one to have on the book shelf.
This was such an inspiring, motivational read. This book is full of good energy to really get you going and want to STAND UP and get ish done! Genuinely a work of art.
