Things were not easy for Tiffany in high school, the emotional pain she suffered following her into adulthood.
Right now, though, those hardships she endured as a kid seem insignificant as she’s faced with an appalling adversity, one of those merciless blows that life delivers when you least expect her mother’s illness.
Tiffany does what she can to cope with this tough situation, barely managing to push forward, to hold onto hope, even if hope can sometimes appear to be a double-edged sword.
Fortunately, she’s made a friend on the internet, in an online forum for victims of bullying; his name is Shane, and she can feel a strong bond developing between them.
What Tiffany doesn’t know, however, is that the information about her past has reached the wrong ears…
Because there’s someone, a monster with human appearance, who doesn’t take well to victims of bullying, a psychopath that totally loses it when said victims don’t defend themselves, and who believes they deserve to be punished for not fighting back.
And Tiffany is his next target…
This book contains graphic scenes of violence and torture. Reader discretion is advised.
Just like Part 1, Siegel wastes no time pulling you into that unsettling feeling. While you can read this as a standalone, I highly recommend starting with Part 1 to better understand the character development since some familiar faces return.
This time, we follow a mother-daughter duo. The daughter, a young adult, is home caring for her ill mother and finds solace in an online forum for bullying survivors. But comfort quickly turns to horror as she becomes the next target of the “bully of the bullied.”
🖤 Epic body horror 🖤 Torture 🖤 Psychological trauma
This book is torture intense. I even had to Google what a dermatome was: “Dermatome tools are essential surgical instruments used for harvesting thin slices of skin for grafting.”
The pain level this implies? OUCH.
Siegel takes this one so much further down a path of sorrow and sadness. A few times there I noticed myself holding my breath.
*A good thing to note: The bully tortures in a nonsexual way. Don’t get me wrong, He totally gets excited when they beg and scream, but he is not sexual with them. If you’re into dark & disturbing books with a psychological edge >> Go read it.
QUESTION: One thing I can’t stop thinking about—there were a few moments where the victim was given a weapon. So why didn’t they turn on the bully? Were they really that weak and afraid? Let me know what you guys think!
This is my fourth novel by Ivan Siegel, and what always strikes me is how he uses language. There isn't much unneccessary vulgar language, and when it's there it's in dialogue, to convey the character's personality. If there is such a thing as "classy" extreme horror, this is it. I mean, taking a blowtorch to the "vagina" sends the message clear enough, it actually hits harder for me than if you would use more crude synonyms. This does not mean it's lame. The gory scenes are visceral and gut-wrenching, they were hard to get through, especially the dermatome action. But the most difficult thoughts to process while reading this, is the premise. Punishing individuals because they've already been through hell once? That just raises so much anger and so much frustration against the villain in the story. Read this if you want to go on a wild ride of emotions.
Punish the bullied part 2 by Ivan Siegel - Author. If you thought the torture scenes in part 1 were bad, this is ramped up the the highest level Tiffany after years of bullying and torment, thinks she has found solace and compassion off a nice man she's met online. She's made her biggest mistake. Connor is back after years of perfecting his craft of torturing. Taken to a place in the woods, she discovers she's not the only one there. Some truly sickening torture scenes, each one getting more barbaric and depraved. Fantastic book.
The sequel was even better Oh dang… part two was without a doubt even crazier than the first. Like I’m literally up way too late right now because I had to finish it—and now I’m about to go hunt down book three immediately. This felt like a Hostel scene… but somehow even worse. Way more intense, way more brutal, and it does NOT hold back. I don’t even know how to explain it without ruining anything—just know it escalates everything from book one and then pushes it way past what you think it will. Just… read this.
JFC! Just when you think it can’t get much more depraved and ruthless, this sequel says “hold my beer!” Seriously, the unfathomable amount of torment and suffering is astounding! And don’t even get me started on that revelation at the end because omfg I don’t know how I’m gonna be able to stomach it getting that much worse. This author does not pull his punches so that is your warning. Proceed with caution. . .
Connor's older and back at it again but worse this time! The line of girls he had taken and the torture he had put on them was absolutely disgusting and horrible. The two girl's back stories were so heart breaking. The epilogue absolutely destroyed me along with everything else, no parent should ever have to go through that. Im still waiting for revenge on Connor .... I'm hoping he ends up messing with the wrong person.
A brilliant sequel. Dark, disgusting, and unapologetically twisted — wouldn’t expect anything less from Ivan. It’s sharp, brutal, and straight to the point. You don’t need to read the first book to enjoy this one, but it definitely adds depth to Connor’s background. A short splatterpunk story that pulls no punches.
Ivan's writing always evokes such strong emotions, and this book is no exception. The MC in this book is a truly despicable human. As a victim of bullying in grade school, I felt every emotion that these women went through. If you're looking for a book with a happy ending, this is not it! I've read all of Ivan's books, and this one hit me the hardest. Bravo, sir!

Connor is back and he has been refining his methods. This certainly isn’t good for Tiffany! The second book in the Punished series definitely ramps up the violence and creativity. Each chapter reels you in as you long for escape or revenge .. or both. The epilogue is a devastating gut-punch. More great writing from Ivan.
Well Connor came back twice as hard. He's a sicko that's for sure. Emotionally gut wrenching what the female characters go through. But I'm still waiting for the Karma train to hit him 👊
I thought part 1 was brutal and then along came book 2 and I’m at a loss for words. The torture scenes in this one were beyond the scope of brutal and savage. How did Ivan come up with the idea for the torture? My body literally shook and I held my breath because in my mind I could feel the pain. His descriptions and the words he uses just hit you.
