Check the content warning before reading!🤭 Another great short, fun, sweet & spicy book for the series! It was a quick and easy read and I think it would be a perfect pallet cleanser. I am excited to see more of the characters in the next book and am especially excited to see more of Beatrice and Silas.🙂↕️

ARC Review
I was completely obsessed with The Minotaur's Milkmaid so I couldn't wait to go back into that world! This book follows Maeve's friend Annie as she is chosen by her minotaur Fenric and it's just as cute as the first book!
I absolutely loved Annie, she's gentle and shy and loves nature. I really loved that she first caught Fenric's attention while singing in the garden each day, as someone who sings in the woods daily and has daydreamed this exact scenario, this was really special to read! Once again, I really enjoyed how innocent and ladylike the heroine was, her panic, fluster and embarrassment during the first spicy time is exactly what I'd expect, I get bored of reading about girls who are inexperienced yet have no self-consciousness or fear, Boldrini always makes it so relatable!
Fenric is athletic and a bit cocky but very kind, I love that he calls her Little Blossom!
The spice is amazing, especially because of all the emotional tangents Annie experiences, she wants it but feels like it's wrong and she's not sure how to do anything, she also freaks out when she moves or makes sounds involuntarily, I love all of the details and seeing how he helps her through it all and her confidence grows. There's a lot less milking in this one but it's still present. Let me stress it again, the spice is super hot!

This book was so wholesome and sweet.
I did receive this as an Arc, before you roll your eyes and swipe off 😂 I don’t care that it was an Arc, I’ll always be honest about if I love or hate a book. Honestly, I see them more as early access to a book 😏 I will never lie about my reviews because I don’t see the point 🤷♀️
This novella was so wholesome and sweet. The main character has crippling anxiety and, as someone with anxiety, I feel like it was represented well. An intense situation…get me the hell out of there. She may have anxiety, but she’s strong in other ways and sees things that others don’t.
I loved Fenric’s and Annie’s relationship, I wanted more 😩 It had a bit of everything and I love a little bit of drama to keep it interesting. Fenric wanted Annie, and he had no problem letting everyone know. We love a man who knows what he wants, no messing about. Fenric was actually kinda funny, a little bit over the top, but he pulled it off.
“There you are,” he says, voice rough enough to make my toes curl. “I woke up alone. Cruel.”
“I’ve had lovers who’ve hit me harder”
He noticed everything about Annie, he really saw her for who she was and that just made me melt even harder for him.
“But they don’t see her the way I do. They don’t notice how her fingers twist in her skirts when she’s nervous, or the way she bites her bottom lip when she’s about to speak and then thinks better of it.”
Also, Little Blossom is a really sweet nickname and I feel the nicknames can either make or break a book. There were lots of sweet moments between them and a few spicy ones too.
It’s a short novella and I recommend trying it even if you’re on the fence about it. I would also suggest reading the first book, as it will make more sense. But it could easily be read as a stand-alone, but you may miss a bit of information about Annie’s past and some of the characters. The only thing I wasn’t the biggest fan about was Dakar towards the end. He really wasn’t impressed after Fenric made his claim on Annie. He was a little a bit too grumpy, but not in a cute way. That’s the only negative for me as I loved him in his book…but I suppose he was a bit of a Alpha A-hole in his book…so maybe that just who he is 🤷♀️😂I just wanted him to be a bit more supportive of his friend. Aside from that, it’s a five-star read and I will be patiently but impatiently waiting for the next novella.

I loved sweet Annie so much in book one and was so ready for her hea. Fenric was the young, show off of the tribe but one look at Annie and he was smitten. I loved how easy their story felt - even with a little angst they were able to make it work beautifully. I can’t wait for the next one!

Just perfect! I absolutely love the way this author writes and these novellas are the perfect length for bite sized morsels of story and spice!
This book has so many things I love: a hot Minotaur warrior who’s obsessed with the girl, a curvy female main who likes to go barefoot and names snails in the garden, AND HE CALLS HER LITTLE BLOSSOM! Ugh swoon!
One of my favorite things about this book of the series is that Annie is shy and anxious.. and she is exactly perfect the way she is. The author doesn’t necessarily make her have a growing moment where she overcomes it, and the male in her life has enough fight in him for both of them. He loves her softness in every way and I love that this is so embraced in this book!

I absolutely adored this book, even more than the first. I loved the MMC, Fenric. He was funny and cocky, but so gentle and patient with Annie. I loved the progression of their romance and how protective he was of her. And the spice was so well-written. Can’t wait for the next!

I beta read this Novella and let me tell you, this was a deliciously cute story. Just like the first one, I devoured the whole thing in one sitting. The author does a fantastic job at creating memorable characters that don’t feel cookie cutter.
The FMC is relatable and adorable. The MMC made me laugh and swoon at the same time. And their dynamic together was chefs kiss.
My favorite moment in the whole book was the wink and if you read it, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
Somehow there was a plot twist that had me raging, but thankfully it was short lived.
The spice was sweet and hot, and beautifully written.❤️🔥🥵
This is a NOVELLA, so if you want a short, fun, and cute read this is the book for you. It’s fast paced and meant to be gobbled up in one sitting, so bear that in mind when reading.

I was in such a huge reading slump when I got this ARC, but the moment I opened my Kindle app and started The Warlord’s Wildflower, I couldn’t put it down. This one pulled me right out of my slump, and it’s a solid 5 stars 🌟 from me!
The spice level is lower compared to the first novella, around 2.5 spicy peppers 🌶, but the emotional depth really shines here. Annie is such a relatable character. Her anxiety makes even the simplest activities feel overwhelming, and honestly, I saw a lot of myself in her struggles. It made me connect with her even more.
And then there’s Fenric, cocky, confident, yet so incredibly sweet when it comes to Annie. Their dynamic was just chef’s kiss 😘. The only thing I would’ve liked fleshed out a little more is the part where Maeve or Fenric could have clarified Garron’s intentions to “mate” without Annie’s true consent. Still, it’s clear that Annie only ever had eyes (and a “yes”) for Fenric, so I could let that slide.
This series by L.A. Boldrini is completely my vibe. I adore these Bulls and Hucows, and honestly? I’d devour a full-length novel set in this world. Keep them coming!

🌸This is a terrific slice of happiness! I loved the first book in this series and was counting the days to read Annie’s story! I love this type of short novella to be able to pick up anytime knowing the type of ooey gooey HEA I am in for to calm any anxieties or reinvigorate my mood.
I adored Annie’s character. She is such a sweet and gentle soul. Fenric is really fun. Who doesn’t love a MMC who has it bad for the shy girl? The way he notices her and sees past the quiet is wonderful. He may make a few bull-ish mistakes, but we still love him.

This book was exactly what I needed to get back into romance. Wonderful world-building, addicting characters, and enough backstory to make me NEED the first book too! Not because you need the info to get into the second one, but because I just want more more moreee of this world. 🥹So wholesome and touching in every way. We were even given anxiety rep in monster romance!
Annie felt so realistic and relatable. As an anxiety girlie myself, I totally feel our FMC's distaste for loud, raucous events and have a truckload of self worth issues. She's funny, smart, and has a little sass with all the heart she has. Fenric, our saucy MMC, is the exact opposite of what Annie represents. She can't believe he'd want her favor, but the boy is practically begging for it!
Don't sleep on this author, you guys, you're missing out on the most comforting and coziest world ever! Five stars from this ARC reader!

Loved how fast paced this book was, as i love a fast burn with everything in me. First off i just thought Annie was the cutest girl ever, i just felt that she was described so well and she was relatable to me with how shy she was but i loveddddd that she blossomed because of Fenric. I bloody loved Fenric, what a gorgeous gorgeous specimen😍😍 I just wish that the book was longer and i wanted to know more about their live story as i just fell in love with them and how possessive but also sweet he was to her, overall i just LOVED this book and i can’t wait for the next!!!!

This is the second book in the series and it was short and oh so sweet! I love these books! They are very easy to read and just a little spicy! 🌶️🌶️ Perfect little palate cleanser.
Annie is so sweet and shy. She loves the garden and working with herbs for healing. Fenric is the youngest commander and is as handsome as he’s fierce. She catches his eye and Fenric doesn’t want anyone else. Swoon! So good!!

The Warlord's Wildflower is a quick, super sweet read, and I loved the cameos of Maeve, Darak, and Beatrice.

Such an amazing combo of cottage core and crazy hot minatour warlords. This came just in time for fall to get me in a cozy mood. She hit this out of the park once again. Fenric had me giggling and kicking my feet the entire time! The spice was very much spicing*chefs kiss*

I honestly can’t say which I liked more. First or second. I loved how shy and anxious Annie was. She was relatable, and Fenric was cocky in all the right ways.

short sweet and to the point with a little spice. personally I wanted more spice and the female lead was your typical wilting violet, stuttery shy type, but it was a fun quick read. not much romance tho, more like insta love.
