Genre: NA romance
Standalone? Yes
HFN? Yes

Sensuality: PG-13
Ho-meter: H (22) = one lover, h (18) = 2 lovers

Two broken college kids find that they have a lot in common. Yadda, yadda.

Simple, rudimentary writing. Also needs to be proofread. Not really my cuppa: I dont need things spelled out for me since I aint five. But I aint mad at it. It was pleasant enuff and inoffensive.

This is one of those books where you have two broken people brought together by chance and learn they have so much more in common than they ever realized. Taylor has been sleeping with her brother's best friend and what a user and loser he is. He only calls her for a booty call and then out the door she goes. It really made me mad that as nice as she seemed to be that she put up with his behavior. But, everyone has their breaking point and boy was it huge!

Matt has been broken hearted by the woman he loved or he thought he loved. Seemed more like a comfortable relationship that being truly in love. So, when Taylor's grades starts slipping, here comes Matt to save the day.

With the both being dealt with the same hand at relationships, I enjoyed seeing them become friends and go from there. They were both so leery at wanting to even try anything more than friendship but when fate intervenes, there is no stopping it. I loved seeing them open up and learn to love again plus I liked Ryan being put in his place. He sure needed it!

I didn't plan on finishing it and was also going to return it ... but I decided not to only because I had nothing else to read. I really hate giving bad reviews but there were a good amount of grammatical errors which is something I don't get to crazy about but it did bother me with the amount this book had. It also seemed like it was written by a child or teen... I don't know I just wasn't feeling it at all. DNF.

Regretted reading this. I thought this would be really nice because of the cover. Too bad i expected so much. I guess i learned a lesson. "Don't judge the book by its cover." I didn't like how it was written. What the characters think and say were just not good enough for me. It was like a "trying so hard" book. And the events? They were predictable.

An OK read but seem to be missing the wow factor. I give it four stars though because of Matt; his character makes a change compared to the other main male characters in romantic books. Sweet, so not bad at all.
