What a chonker of a finale! But honestly, worth every every page. I worried—as I’m SURE other readers of this series did—that the author would do my boy Oliver dirty here at the end, but while I didn’t see his story coming, I can say I appreciated it. A great addition to the finale. I can’t believe it’s over!

Haven’t read this series yet? Start with book one, The Petticoat Pirate, and sit back and enjoy the ride.

What an absolute delight! I have enjoyed reading this series from start to finish, and the Traitorous Tides was the perfect ending to a wonderful series for Josephine and her friends. With evil villains, stormy seas, and other obstacles to overcome, they have their work cut out for them, and I love how Josephine is always witty, a strong heroine, and ready to take the lead. The side characters are also a delight, and it’s hard for me to choose favorites, as I love them all, though there were some werecat scenes in this one that definitely stole the show. And of course, I have shipped Josephine and Nathaniel from the start and loved how every book has gotten swoonier and swoonier for them!

(Without getting too specific or spoilery), I especially loved that this final installment provided such a great way to end the series on a great note that made my heart rejoice. There were so many scenes in the final 15% where I was just smiling as I read, thrilled that the book turned out the way that it did. Brava! 5/5 stars.

Fantastic read! C.R. Pugh really finished strong in this fourth and final book in The Petticoat Pirate series. All of the Petticoat Pirate books was full of action, suspense, romance and mystery and the drama continued to build in this one! A very entertaining read! And it's rated G. I have enjoyed all of C.R. Pugh's books and look forward to seeing what she comes up with next! Good Job!
