Only with the help from the very thing she hates the most... a human man, can she finally get the one thing she wants... revenge.

Driven by the need for answers, Rai seeks help from Valeska without realising he's becoming tangled in a web of monsters born from night.
Will he take a deal that's too good to be true, or sense the trap before it's too late?
Will there be anything left when the man who hates Valeska, discovers the truth?
Or, can they work together to get what they both want, even if they're destined to destroy each other in the end?
Some sins will bleed you dry...
A Hades and Persephone inspired, enemies to lovers, gothic paranormal romance.
"Wow. This book was like Jennifer's Body had a love child with Blade, but make it super spicy, fantastically unhinged and super gory. Now I know the purpose of a good manicure..." Ben Alderson, author of Lord of Eternal Night.

Oh my goddess, what a ride this book is! It had me hooked from the start, the plot is fast paced - but not too fast paced. The author has a beautiful writing style, i felt myself falling deeper into the actual story because i didnt have to over-focus on the writing.
In the book we meet Valeska, a badass vampire queen that has a goal to eradicate all men from the planet because she believes that they’re the root to all bad things happening in the world. along the way she meets Rai, an agent working to solve the mystery of where his sister went when he was a kid, and his work partner Nico. The dynamic in the group is so funny, the banter is great and i felt myself cheering for the guys more than i care to admit. The story is also so intimate, vulnerable and delicate, i had such a nice time reading it. Would highly recommend it to other romantasy lovers!
I received this as an ARC. Thank you to Jasmine for having me on the ARC-team, it was a pleasure!
What a stunning cover! Such grandiose words in the blurb! But in reality, this book turned out to be a complete disappointment.
And the saddest part is that I actually liked the concept: the design with Valeska’s letters to her ex-husband was a brilliant idea. But it ended up being completely pointless, because the author failed to bring the characters to life or to truly explore their history or personalities. This weakness runs through the entire plot. Even the basics - like showing how vampires live in this world, their hierarchy or simply introducing more than one or two of them - were ignored. Valeska is their queen, and yet we saw nothing! Then whose queen is she?
So what was this book actually filled with? Endless vulgar scenes and chaotic, incoherent moments that were meant to move the story forward but instead just came across as painfully cringeworthy.
The author didn’t put any effort into worldbuilding, character development or even the storyline itself. And that’s the real shame! Because the idea had so much potential, but the execution was a complete failure.
Oh my... this book pulled me in and had me fall for the characters. Valeska: she is soo much more then just a Démon she feels she is, Rai; a morally strong fighter of justic all to find his little sister and fighting for all caught in this intricate road to finding answers and justic. Nico: it took me a bit to figure out the dynamic between him and Rai; are they lovers? co-workers? friends? i leave it up to you to discover it yourself. All of them have so much dept in their story what motivates them how and why. No spoilers coming from me as you should totally discover this web weaved story by Jasmine Andrady. If your a strong lover of the trophy's below the by all means add it to your TBR- list; ⚔️Enemies to lovers ⛓️💥Modern gothic & horror themes 🤍Hades & Persephone inspired 🩸Vampire queen 💫Dark paranormal romance ❣️Sworn off love 🌶 spice
Things I loved about this book: • A fast paced, dark enemies to lovers romance set in a modern world with vampires. • the characters! Rai was adorable! • One badass fmc! it was nice to see a leading fmc who is strong and not afraid, someone who doesn’t need a man to help her deal with her messes. • good spice!
things i thought could of been better: • I wasn’t a fan of the mixed french words and nicknames - it’s mainly a personal preference. • it was fast paced to an extent i wanted it to be a little slower, the book was over too soon!
you will like this if you like:
- enemies to lovers - romantasy - strong fmc - vampires - spice - agents - betrayals - dark fantasy - fantasy set in modern times
Thank you again Jasmine Andrady for this entertaining and enjoyable book!!
This was my 2nd ARC read and I have to say what an outstanding read this was! If you’re into your vampires, dark romances and a lot of steamy spice this one’s for you. A lot of spicy scenes and a lot of interesting plot twists throughout the story. This book includes so many tropes such as enemies to lovers and lost family. This book kept me turning the pages from start to finish I was that hooked and absolutely loved the story! The characters had really good connections to one another, with a lot of secrets hidden but they all managed to forgive one another. The book was easy to get into which makes it a fun and classy read for everyone, my favourite part about it was the letters throughout and all the action going on that makes the book entertaining ❤️
If you like your books dark, spicy and with laughter and heartbreak then this one is for you. This is one of the first books I have read that has a truely badass FMC but with an interesting backstory aswell. I really enjoyed the dual POVs throughout and it kept the book flowing at a good pace. One of the most heart touching moments for me throughout was the relationship between the MMC Rai and Nico. I definitely have a soft spot for Nico! This book also touches on sensitive topics and deals with them really well. With tropes that include found family, strong and badass FMC, enemies to lovers and supernatural then this is the book!
Thank you Jasmine Andrady for letting me arc read your book.
Welcome to a delicious spicy vampire romance. If I could be a vampire, Val is everything I would see myself being.... Jasmine's writing is wonderful, the way the words come to life in my mind with so much detail was incredible. There is spice, love, heart ache, and moments that had me laughing and I shed a tear. I personally enjoyed the pages that gave insight to Val's history. I'm trying hard not to give anything away. So if you like Gothic vampires with trigger warnings, read this book. It will not disappoint in any way.
I absolutely devoured this book in no time! It was everything I dreamed it would be!! The writing is really nice and fast-paced, but not too fast, and it dealt with sensitive topics so well! The spice was also just amazing!! We love a man on his knees! 🙊🙊
I adored Valeska, she was such a badass and interesting character, and I loved her spidery powers. The friendships and banter with V, Sunny, Rai, and Nico melted my heart so much!!
Definitely one of my favourite reads of the year!! 🖤
Thank you so much Jasmine Andrady for gifting me a Arc copy to review! 🫶🏻
I had the pleasure of being picked to Arc read this! I loved it so much!! I love how Rai is ok with his feminine side and love his friendship with Nikko. Showing that men can be friends and love each other and take care of each other without it being seen as them being attracted to each other. Id love to hear about Rai's sisters story and what exactly happened to her. Valeska is such an amusing character I love how she overcomes her pain and shame to show Rai who she really is and why she is that way.
“We all have secrets, committing sins that bleed us dry and rob us of life.” This book starts off with a bang and never lets up. It’s a roller coaster ride all the way to the last page. Dark and twisty, and full of twists and turns! The banter between Nico and Rai is hilarious! Take time to read the trigger warnings and take them seriously!
This one kept me engaged and guessing and I really enjoyed the read. I love that the FMC made the MMC work for everything and was a really strong character but could let go of control when needed too. The characters were all quirky and likable and I enjoyed the story.
I was lucky to get an ARC in exchange for an honest review, it was a really fun read!
This book is a dark and delicious rollercoaster that kept me hooked from the start! Thank you so much to Jasmine Andrady for the ARC. I absolutely loved Valeska, she is one bad ass FMC! This book was majorly steamy and I loved the gothic vibes too. I can't wait to see what other delights this author has for us!
This book was everything and more! I loved that the FMC was an independent, strong minded vampire badass! This book had me up at odd hours. I loved the dynamic between Valeska and Rai. This book had me experiencing all types of feelings. I’d 1000000% recommend this book if you like an FMC that doesn’t take any crap and love romantasy. If I could rate this book more I would.
It is a really good spicy vampire book that I got into right away. I liked how the pace stayed steady throughout the story and how the writing made it easy to follow. There were many scenes that stood out, but the one with the gun and the letters became a clear favorite for me.
Thank you so much Jasmine for letting me be a part of your team. ❤️🌺
The book was fast paced. The twists in the story were great. Really enjoyed learning more about the characters as the book continued. The progression in the characters relationships were perfect especially with sunny. Really enjoyed and you highly recommend
I read this as apart of the authors ARC team and received the book for free
This isn’t your typical slow burn like girl meets boy, boy is a@@, girl falls madly in love and just accepts everything. Nope she has a backbone and makes him work for it. I love it! First time to read about a gun being used for something else than its original use. Fire!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟
2.75 ⭐️ - the plot was just absolutely lost at about the 35% mark. There were SO many typos and comma after comma after comma when there should’ve been periods. This had a good premise and I liked the idea but the execution sucked asshole.
Oh my goodness... I devoured this book in 5 days, only because I had to work. As soon as I had some downtime I basically inhaled it. I want to do this well, with no spoilers!
It is fantastic. Valeska (Vampire Queen) and Rai (Insvestigator) are beautifully written and the "enemies to lovers" was done so well. There are points in the book where you can feel the animosity coming off of the pages. That is followed up with some spice that is definitely spicing. Flames y'all... The other characters- Nico (Rai's partner) was one of my favorite characters... still haven't completely figured him out--and Sunny (Val's bestie) who is literally the biggest ray of sunshine ever-- really filled out the cast and created such a great little "found family".
I truly enjoyed my time with this book, it truly was time well spent.
I received this as an arc. This book was a dark, bloody, and gothic ride full of enemies-to-lovers tension, unhinged characters, and a paranormal romance that definitely stands out from the crowd. I loved the unique twist on vampires, the morally gray themes, and the way Valeska and Rai’s dynamic kept me hooked page after page. It had that gritty, Hades-and-Persephone energy with the gore and spice dialed way up. That said, I did find myself a little confused at times, and the flow could have been smoother in places. There were moments where I had to reread to make sure I was following correctly, which pulled me out of the story a bit.
Overall, though, it was such a bold and fresh take on gothic paranormal romance, and I think fans of darker, spicier fantasy romance will have a lot of fun with it. I’m glad I picked it up, and I’ll definitely be watching to see what Andrady writes next!
This book was incredible! I was turning pages faster than ever. I loved the story line and the book was well written. My favorite part is that our FMC is the shadow daddy in this book! The MMC had me laughing so many times. I loved that it didn't drag out anything and was fast paced but not too fast. Our girl Val is a powerhouse and I ate every bit of her character up! This is a MUST READ if you are looking for a change where the female is the shadow daddy and the male is the timid one! There are parts where you will think Rai is a sissy and I will agree with you, but when it comes to someone hurting Val he will stop at nothing to keep that from happening. I highly recommend you read this immediately because you will be in for a ride for sure!!!!!
There were elements to this book that I loved but for me I felt like it was two books put together (a smut book and a crime investigation book). The spice in this book was 10/10 and I loved the interactions between Rai and Valeska. I was here for that. Then the elements of Rai being a detective working on a case again I enjoyed this, you could feel how important it was to him. However I felt the two elements didn’t merge. The jumping between the chemistry with Rai and Valeska then back to being serious about a case just didn’t work for me as a reader.
This was absolutely amazing and I loved this sooo much I’ll share 2 of my favourite quotes to convince you ;)
“All my life , I never thought I’d find you but now that I have I never want to let you go. You are the other half of me that I’ve been lucky enough to find in this lifetime but even if I hadn’t I would find you in the next”
If I could glow I would be blinding us both right now. He doesn’t compliment me as though I’m a trophy, he sees all of le and Sindhis finds the beauty even in the darker parts of who I am
I loved this book it was amazing, I loved the chemistry between the MMC and FMC. I loved the book from the moment they meet that night on the MMC's mission I could really feel the chemistry. And I couldn't stop giggling and all that shit I totally recommend the book, it's fun and easy to read.
One thing I also loved was that I got my nails done before starting the book and I had some cherries on my nails and it also was the FMC'S favorite fruit and flavor! I really loved that!
I was very lucky to be an ARC reader for Jasmine and I am very grateful, This is a very good book it has it all vampires, humans , betrayal and spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️ The connection/chemistry between the MMC and MFC is just hot 🔥, the twists in the book had me gasping, I could not put the book down Don’t walk run to get this book it’s amazing
"The Sins That Bleed" is a love story between a most unexpected pair, vampire & human. We follow along as they work together to uncover a trafficking ring and bring a horrible man to justice. There are a few twists and turns along the way that keep the story fresh and entertaining. If you are into paranormal romance, enemies to lovers and the dark then you should definitely check it out!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The raw connection between Rai and Valeska was fire! 🔥 Although I did have a feeling about the twist at the end about halfway through, I still loved how she played it and gave everyone a HEA!
This was an ARC read for me. I really enjoyed the mystery and vampire story. Read the blurbs you will probably love it also if you are into vampires. I don’t know how to explain it without give spoilers, so I’m referring you to the blurbs.
